What if Brian had taken the job in New York in season 1? After three years in New York, Brian returns home to Pittsburgh to find that things and more importantly people have changed. 

This was one of my first attempts at fan fiction and I am not 100% happy with it. Still I decided that some people might like and appreciate it anyway. 

The Pandemic has hit Pittsburgh and Brian and Justin decide to help.

Wanting to change certain aspects of QAF led me to write this.  Maybe THIS TIME things go better.  Hope you enjoy these changes.  I plan to post every Sunday.

The year is 2014. Just before gay marriages are voted as legal in the State of Pennsylvania, Brian runs a campaign pro-gay marriages. The aftermath lands him in a lot of trouble. The appearance of an old friend and their quick thinking saves him from prison. Is marriage worth it to save himself from prison? Especially when Justin is back in town after many years of absence.

Brian and Justin have a heated argument about who gives better head. As a result, they decide to go down on the sexiest person they know. Emmett is the lucky guy they pick for the little experiment. Things get out of hand fast.

This generally means everyone there did something to piss off their parents and got their butts thrown into this school. 17-year-old Brian’s a new student, 16-year-old Justin’s been attending for a while now. How will they ever survive?

Justin didn't think that this day could get any worse; and then Pipp (Lindsay) walked in with her entourage and proved him wrong. But at least there was eye candy to ogle. Alternate Universe - Coffee Shop. 

In Aftershock, we see how Justin's bashing at the end of Season One affected Brian. It ended without revealing how the bashing affected everyone else who loved and cared about Justin. The series skipped from that iconic scene of Brian sitting in the hospital right after Justin was admitted, to a month later at the beginning of Season Two, so we have to use our imagination about what went on at the hospital after Michael joined Brian. I hope you will find my perspective interesting.

The series tracks the next three years of their life as they manage their new reality, after-effects of the bashing, their eventual move to New York, and their ever-evolving relationship. Told in first-person chapters from their points of view and some outsiders, with some angst, a lot of hurt/comfort, and loads of humor. Never any big relationship drama, and no one ever takes themselves too seriously.

Several QAF drabbles I have written...

I still can't believe this is my life. Two days ago I was the stud of Liberty Avenue and a successful adman, today... today I am a father. I still recall the words he whispered in my ear that night, as we all sat in Lindsay's hospital room: "You deserve to be loved Brian. Don't let anyone make you think you can't, don't let them win. Show them they are wrong"

I've dedicated all my life to show Saint Joan, Jack and every homophobe out there that underestimating me was a mistake. I became a successful businessman, being the head of the advertising department in Ryder's Advertising. I had the money, the looks, the gang and everyone wanted me... but I was still hallow.

I've proved them all wrong in everything, but one thing. I ended up believing their words, that I was unwanted, that no one will ever love me, that I was not desired, that I should have been aborted.

However, all that changed two days ago. When, I met a fallen angel under a streetlight, no matter how lesbian I sounded, to me that was true. Looking so innocent and pure, he was just asking for me to pick him up. I don't normally go for blonds, but I wanted to be in that world- that world of light- at least for a night.

Brian and Justin don't meet on Liberty Avenue. But a murder trial starts an odd domino effect. 

It's been a year, a year full of pain and sorrow. A year in which nothing meant anything for Brian. After losing Justin at the bombing in Babylon everything was white and black.

However... what will happen if one day suddenly everything changed? What if he had never really met Justin? Then why does he remember everything they had gone through while the rest of the gang doesn't even know who Justin is?

Post 5-13. Justin decides what to do with his life after his art show. He's miserable in New York without Brian...I know it's been done before, but I have a million ideas, and need to get some of them out!

Brian is going through the most ridiculous midlife crisis, effectively making both him and Justin frustrated on a whole new level. With a little help from their friends, they solve the problem.

Due to this being a ghost story, some of our beloved characters may not be alive in the physical plane. But all beloved characters will be very much a part of this story and active, even if they are a ghost.

A new friend (thanks, Giotto!) pointed out that there are still people interested in Queer as Folk. I have 600 pages of this story typed up, the rest is still a manuscript - as in, handwritten. Actual pen, actual paper. The story itself is finished, it just needs typing and proof-reading. I think I'll have about 1,000 pages when I'm done.

I recently lost a lot of stuff due to a computer crash; so I decided to finally put this here, where it will hopefully be safe for a while. (I once did have the whole thing typed up. I'll do it one more time, but I really don't want to do that again after that!)

So. This story is my take on what happens when Justin returns from New York. Some places in Pittsburgh are my invention, others actually do exist, or rather, they existed at the time I wrote this. I used a lot of the characters we saw in the series, and I created a few more.

I'm not giving any warnings - if you watched QaF, you know what to expect. (I don't write explicit f/f, or f/m - the explicit m/m scenes all have Brian in them.) Hope you enjoy!

Justin has been back from New York for a week and in that time the ‘family' just wouldn't leave he and Brian alone to enjoy their reunion. There have been countless calls demanding Brian produces Sunshine, unannounced visits and several walk-ins performed by Michael of course.

This is a pre-series story based around Emmett Honeycutt and his strange but undeniable friendship with Brian Kinney.

Brian and Justin are always destined to be together. In this story, Justin and Gus are firends. Gus is determined to help his father get out of his shelf and his best friend to get the man of his dreams. If those two cases are entwined it's only easier for Gus, who is determined to reach his goals.

Brian Kinney lands the leading role in a new dramatic investigation television series.  Filming on location in Atlanta he meets Artist Justin Taylor.

Note: This is an archiving of a complete text written in 2006.  It is set in the time period of the short lived series "Vanished".  The story is set in Atlanta.  Justin is a graphic artist working for an ad agency, Brian is the lead actor in a new series called "Vanished" being filmed in Atlanta.

Out of boredom, Brian creates a Facebook account. That way he discovers Justin's relationship status and demands answers. They come to a conclusion that makes Michael's head spin.

A continuation of the Brian and Justin story, post 513. A viewpoint on how their characters and relationship would have progressed and evolved over time. Characters are as Canon as possible, although there are bits of 'quirk', here-and-there.
