Oh My God. I read this when you first posted it and completely missed the little note about this being a sequel to I Don't Do Romance. So imagine my joy just now when rereading this and seeing that. I LOVE THIS!! Every word and Mikey's reaction was exactly what I hoped for lol. God I love when Brian puts him in his place!! Hoping you'll write Lindsay's reaction too at some point but this was glorious!!

Glad I got a chance to read this - RL is butting into my reading time. It is soooo past time for Michael to be put in his place. Love Emmett's line about milk and cookies...LOL So with Brian being 40 and Michael being older and with him still acting like a badly behaved child - yep - definitely time for Brian to pull off the bandaid...

Brian is so right - these things needed to be said to Michael. He could have done with a few more home truths throughout the series. I really liked this little story :-)

OK, you did good. I loved the picture, except for the ugly right hand lower picture of that moron! The story was great, hearing him tell mikey that it would never would never be him, even if there was never a Justin. Only problem I'm greedy woman. it was short three chapters : 1) mikey goes to mommy --mommy breaks the speed of sound to rip into Brian, 2) mikey calls Lindsay to tell how abusive Brian was to him and it's Justin's fault, and 3) mikey talks with Joan who rushes to tell her son he's evil and going to hell! The best part of your first story was the tatoo (who would think Brian would mar his beautiful body) the best part of story #2 was telling mikey he never loved him and he never would, and mikey seeing the tatoo. You made my day, thank you sweetie!

Very enjoyable read, Kathleen! I wasn't necessarily strong anti-Michael, but at the same time, I did thing he fixated way too much on Brian. And I think it is highly plausible that Brian WOULD have evolved into this type of person.

Author's Response: Thanks Kim! I've certainly evolved over time to where almost everything about Michael rubs me the wrong way... It's funny the first time I watched the series, I just thought Michael was weird and clingy. Now that I've watched it more times than I can count, I see every manipulative and derogatory remark he's ever made towards Justin.

Good for Brian. I'm not sure Micheal will start healing anytime soon. He never seems to understand that Brian loves Justin. So proud of Brian for finally setting him straight.

Great story. So happy that Brian finally told "Mikey" just how things are. Love stories where Brian & Justin are happy and Michael finally gets what he deserves which by the way is definitely not Brian !!!!!!!!!!!!
