Welcome to MW.  Great firrst story.  Very very funny.  Love that Debbie named her dog after Michael.  I felt so sorry for poor Brian.  I do not have the talent to write, so  I am the unoffical cheerleader here on MW and LJ.

Sorry, me again. Should have put this at the top of my other review/post.

I loved how you had Debbie name her dog Michael II. Loved how he acted just like human Michael, that was hilarious. Looking forward to more stories.

You should include Michael II in all your stories, even if the other stories don't include everyone elses pets. That dog could add humor and insightful storylines regarding Michael/Brian/Debbie dynamic to your other stories. I am, if you can tell anti-Michael and I don't like how Debbie always blames Brian. Maybe you can write a story where Debbie sees how her dog (Michael II) reacts to Brian maybe around the same time Michael is talking/behaving badly regarding Brian. Maybe it will open her eyes in the story.

Good luck!

Author's Response:

Michael wouldn't behave badly around Brian, not in my story anyway. He is my favorite.

Thank you.

You can get gum out with Peanut Butter. Brian doesn't have to shave his head.

Very confused why everyone had to bring their pets with them instead of leaving them at home. I was excpeting it to all be a dream/nightmare kind of story.

Your writing was okay for your first time. Keep trying. You are good. You just need to put more thought into why people are doing things, because this story just didn't sound real to me based on their characters or real life situations. It was too over the top, even if you were writing it to be Out of Character or not. However, I don't get around much and this could have actually happened to someone, so please don't take offense. Just my point of view.

Good luck with your writing. Hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving!

This is the most subtle story ever written.

Very cute story that made me LOL. And a promising first story as well. Welcome to Whispers and I'm looking forward to your continued writings being published here.

I really do not understand why people feel the need to be so rude about somebody else's work.  My feeling?  If you don't like it, just don't say anything.  I do find that it's usually an "anonymous" comment and that it's from somebody who doesn't submit anything of their own to be read.  There is such a thing as constructive criticism and comments such as "I don't like it" do NOT qualify.  It's not helpful, or even relevant.  I mean, there are lots of things I don't like but imagine if I just randomly went around and told people?  It's called manners and IMHO some people really need to get some.

OK, done with the rant.  This is a fun story.  I almost peed my pants when the frisky little dog was named Michael the second!!!  So perfect.  And of course Brian would hate that environment, but so what?  He does need to have some more fun in his life.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

I couldn't have worded it better myself. ~bob

I so feel for Brian.  Everyone had a different pet.  I'm surprised that the dog didn't chase the cat who probably would have gone after the parrot.  lol.  Good Job.

I really do not like this story. I thought it is something more fun for all people, but turned out that everyone except Brian are having fun. And I don't understand why he had to be forgiven when it was Justin who said "you need to learn how to have fun."

Author's Response:

Because he does. Thank you.
