One-Shot Influenced by Current Events. Brian reflects upon how tactile he is.

Everything was perfect.

Brian and I were finally together in New York, making both of our dreams come true. I was working from a spacious, comfortable studio in SoHo, and the first show of my return to the city was scheduled for the following weekend. Brian was out with a real estate broker, looking at potential office spaces for the soon-to-be New York expansion of Kinnetik. We had wedding rings on our fingers, having finally tied the knot a few years before, in front of all of our family and friends in Pittsburgh.

Our lives were full of new and exciting opportunities, both professionally and personally. I felt like everything was falling into place in a nice, neat, orderly fashion, one piece after another.

Then, I had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And the puzzle that was my life -- so carefully and painstakingly assembled over the years -- was picked up and thrown to the ground, scattering the pieces everywhere.

And everything wasn’t so perfect anymore.

Justin and Brian surprise the family with big news on Christmas Eve.

“You can choose any song you want. You can sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star if you want to. Come on, sing me something. A crappy love song or sappy country song, I don’t care, sing.”

Never in my life did I ever think I’d find myself on a business trip with Ted Schmidt, of all people. Actually, never in my life did I think I’d ever find myself in business with Ted Schmidt at all. But, alas, here I am, nearly fifteen years into owning my own business, and nearly fifteen years into being in that business with one Ted Schmidt.

Brian and Justin parted years ago but have remained friends. Joan’s sudden reappearance in Brian’s life, however, is going to affect their relationship in a way neither of them could have predicted.

Brian and Justin are finally living together at Britin as Justin moved back from New York. They have a moment filled with some angst, love and happy bantering.

This story is a bunch of short moments, from Cynthia’s point of view, about Brian and Justin’s relationship through all five seasons.

Our Sunshine is sick and his husband is away for business but Brian still manages to take care of his beloved.

This story picks up right where 'Aftermath' ends.  This is the third and final installment in the 'After' series of stories about the aftereffects of Justin's bashing by the despicable Chris Hobbs.  This story centers primarily on those closest to Justin and how they deal with what has happened.  It's my interpretation of what could have been going on in between scenes during the first episode of Season 2.  I hope you will enjoy it.

A Halloween fic of sorts. It's about Brian and Justin but they really only guest star. The main character is Melissande - better known to most of you as Mysterious Marilyn.

A QAF fanfic reader made a request for stories that involved the immediate aftermath of that tragic bashing of our beloved Justin and how Brian responded to it.  I believe it inspired a lot of our writers, including myself.  I do hope you will find this story interesting, although I can't say it will be a lot of fun, considering the subject matter.  Please keep in mind how things did turn out for the couple later on as you reach the end of this story, and don't be too sad.
