Summary: Set in an AU in which, after the Babylon bombing, everything goes pretty much back to normal. Mel and Linds re-unite, as, of course, do Brian and Justin, but there’s no running off to Canada, no wedding plans, no bizarro exit for Justin to New York.

This Moonshadow challenge was to write a story around one of the Christmas symbols - you know, star, tree, mistletoe, holly. This started out as a little piece of fluff and turned into something a little more tart. Think of it as Lemon Meringue Pie. LOL

Note: Mel in S5 annoyed me more than I can say. My attitude to her in this story should not be construed as being anti-Jewish, any more than my attitude to Joan and Jack should be construed as anti-Christian. The thing is that I think that Mel became totally unreasonable, and even more manipulative than Linds, so I wouldn’t at all put it past her to use her religion (the one she never seems to pay any attention to at all) to make things more difficult for Lindsay in the wake of their reconciliation, just to push the boundaries, and establish her power in the relationship. In this story, I explore that possibility. No offence is intended, nor any slight to any religion.
