I'm not sure if the photo on your banner is from the same scene, but I jsut remembered the scene when B&J have sex in the loft after looking for a good place outside and finding any, because Stockwell closed down the baths etc The light in this scene is very warm, very orange. Now when reading this I associated this scene with the "orange is the new blue" talk, I wonder if it was done on purpuse by the showmakers. Maybe yes maybe not, but it's fascinating how after all this time one can still see new things in the show and make new connections. Thanks!
Author's Response: I have to admit last night when I started writing this, I flashed on the lighting over the bed. Then I went back to the beginning and wrote the first part. So yes, you have to wonder if Cowlip was that perceptive, somehow I think not... Because, well because they're Cowlip and to me they didn't seem to know where they were going half the time. Otherwise wouldn't they have delved deeper in issues like the bashing, or Brian's cancer and let's not forget how strong Justin and Brian relationship was before California, and when Justin returned it just fell apart...
