An AU which popped into my head a few years back around St. Patrick's Day when I was listening to Tommy Fleming singing Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears.  (Which turned out to be ironic, because Brian doesn't actually enter the US through Ellis Island.)  It's set in the early 1900s.  Justin is the son of a wealthy NY merchant. Brian is a poor Irish immigrant.  Only the luck of the Irish could bring them together.

This fic is set about 12 years after the end of S5 and is part of the Gus/Dani Homecoming!future. Short version - Justin came back to Pittsburgh and he and Brian have been together through all that time, living in a house on the river that they bought after selling Britin. With thanks to SandiD - who put up with my pernickityness and complete inability to explain what I meant and did a wonderful image; if I stuffed it up at the end, then that's my clumsiness.

Fic angst, AU, canon-compliant, hurt/comfort, humor Brian/ Justin- / Gus- Gus is an adult- time could be holiday or family reunion or just visiting B/J- writer's choice. Gus reminiscing about growing up with B/J- Funny stories, harrowing tales, first times, tales about trips they made- anything the writer chooses. Would love at least 2-3 stories ( tales) that Gus shares. B/J could disagree with his memories and they could tell their version- if writer chooses. ( not necessary- just choice of writer)

This is the result. It's set in 2029. I think of this as being loosely Homecoming future, but all that anyone needs to know is that Brian and Justin have been living together in Pittsburgh in a riverside house since Justin's return from New York. Justin and Daphne have a daughter – Dani. Brian, Justin, and Daphne are co-parents, an arrangement which works well for them all. Dani is 16, Gus is 29.

It's Christmas, and Brian and Justin have very different views about their Christmas Tree.

Another little Christmas offering, written while I've been travelling. It's unbeta'd and I haven't even really done a full read through but hopefully there aren't too many errors.

It's set in the Homecoming!future 'verse. Gus is thirteen and Dani is just a few weeks old.

Gift Request: Brian/Justin gets custody of Gus, don't particularly care how. If you want to go the Lesbian!hate route, that's fine by me.
Summary: Post S5 in an AU where there is no JR (just purely because it simplified the plot). Something has happened in Toronto and Brian gets a phone call that sends him into action.

Daphne sends Justin one of those relationship articles and wants to know what he thinks.  He responds based on his own relationship experience.  Which, funnily enough, doesn't bear a lot of resemblance to something from a hetero magazine.

Set a few months after canon S5.

This is set sometime in the first few months after the end of S5. Justin is living in New York. Brian is planning a surprise.

(This was written to allow it to be read as something like a prequel to Homecoming, if that makes any difference.)

At the time, this was the only truly AU bj fic I've ever written. All of the others assumed at least that they met the same as in canon, however what happens next might vary.

But in this one ... Brian and Justin meet when Justin is slightly older and in a completely different way.

Gus in this story is around 3 and the girls are still living in Pittsburgh.

This is a post S5 story which was started before the final episode even aired because I was lucky enough to get screeners.  It is based on three premises: Justin and Brian love each other; they are both intelligent men who can work through their issues; they've finally learned not to be overly influenced by other members of their little family.

It is a sequel to my alternate S5 - Reverberations.

Please remember, I do not like Michael, Melanie or Lindsay. In fact, I dislike all three characters intensely.

Another St. Pat's Day drabble.

As a child I was both terrified and fascinated when I saw the Disney movie "Darby O'Gill and the Leprechaun". 

This is my take on the tale.  Shades of my fathers, forgive me.

This was written some years ago, but as it's still almost St Patrick's Day, it seemed like a good time to post it.
