Hello folks. Well, this time around I had an inspiration late on a Saturday night. By Sunday night it was written. I don't know where the thought came from, although I usually do. I guess my Muse was feeling frisky.

In this short story, we pick up the scene in the final episode of QAF where Brian is laying in his lonely bed after Justin has left for the airport. This is my version of what happened from that moment on. Warning...about 2/3 of the way in you are going to be jolted. Don't give up. Remember who is writing this and how I like my stories to end.  It’s about six months post-513 and Justin is just getting settled in LA (yes, LA). Brian decides to cut all ties with him, but fate intervenes.

Hello again, my friends. Today I give you Chapter One of a brand new story. I promise you lots of sparkle, chills, thrills, sequins, and tights...not to mention romance...in this story set in post Stonewall, pre AIDS America where a small independent circus struggles to stay alive in a changing world. Their lead attraction is Trapeze star Brian Kinney and there are plenty of changes in store for him too when he meets the young man who is in desperate need of changes in his own life. What happens when these two souls meet and discover more than a love for the circus in common between them? I hope you will enjoy the journey.

Out-of-Canon/What-If: In this story, Brian's father knew Brian was gay when Brian was in high school (if not before).  In later chapters, I may need him to be alive to have a confrontation with Brian, so for now I'll say he is not explicitly dead.

Brian just lost the most important person in his life. He is devastated and no one can pull him out of his grieve. On night he met a young boy who could change his life.

This story is totally AU. Brian and Justin haven´t met yet...but they definetley will.

About this AU: This is a total AU in my opinion. It is set a few years in the future. It is canon up to the end of season four but then it goes on from there. There will be Brian with other men and Justin with other men but anyone who has read anything I’ve written will know that I believe it will be Brian and Justin forever. So hang in there through the rough moments. Feedback is appreciated. I am learning at this so please try to be constructive where you see room for improvement. I must warn you that it is angsty and sad but would it be a Mouse fic if it weren’t ? Brian is rewarded for a job well done with an all expense paid vacation in the Florida Keys and the use of his client's private estate on one of the islands. He and Justin have a romantic getaway that is rudely interrupted by an approaching hurricane. Will our boys survive another brush with violence, this time by Mother Nature?

A few months after Justin's prom, he has yet to learn how to really cope with the bashing. And the unexpected death of his close cousin Lidya, was only helping in shutting himself out. But unbeknownst to him, Lidya had already planned ahead and Justin will soon find himself on the roads of Canada, meeting a 29 year old ad exec who's on a two month vacation, forced upon him by his boss after he had lost a major account.

Story Summary:  Brian has a very unusual job (a far cry from an ad executive) that can very well prove DEADLY for Justin.

Note: This story is a M-Preg but attempts to explain in this alternative universe why men become pregnant.  But trust me no little aliens has zapped male earthlings into spaceships and conducted experiments on them.
