Hi. I usually leave you rave reviews, but I'm afraid this one is more ambivalent. It was a cute and entertaining story, but I felt like it was really OOC. Brian was always an asshole in the show, but he was never a hypocritical one. Your Brian in this one was jealous and demanded Justin sleep with no one but him, but fucked around anyway? I like an OOC monogamous Brian, but not one who asks for what he isn't willing to give. I also don't think he would've sucker punched anyone. So, all in all, I enjoyed the story, but I kind of hated Brian in this one, and didn't really think Justin owed him any angst... Sorry!! *cringing* PS But I absolutely love HD and PHK!! I'm holding off on PT til you get closer to the end.
Author's Response: Hi, Kate - that's okay.:) I can understand your viewpoint. If it's any consolation, this was one of my earliest stories, so I imagine at this point I was still "fine-tuning" Brian - ha! I'm not sure if I would agree about him not punching someone out; after all, he DID do that to Michael when he provoked him at Mel and Lindsay's party, and I think from a protective standpoint it could have been in character for him to do that if he thought someone was threatening Justin. After all, he DID let Hobbs have it with the bat after he had assaulted Justin. At any rate, sorry you were a little disappointed with this one, but I DO apprecitate the feedback and the fact that you're enjoying some of the others. BTW - I promise to update both HD and PHK soon; I know they're past due, but I'm trying furiously to get both "Framed" and "Hunka" done first so I can devote more time to updating the longer stories. And I so enjoy making our "I don't do jealous" Brian do just that - ha! The soundtrack for Footloose is very catchy and has several well-known songs if you ever get a chance to listen to the CD. Author's Response: Thank you for all the reviews, my friend. You don't realize how much I appreciate it. I can spend hours writing one chapter of a story and see hundreds read and/or at least check it out and can count on one hand the number of reviews I receive sometimes. It can get very discouraging at times when that happens and makes you question whether there are that many readers that are actually enjoying it. That makes readers such as yourself who DO take the time to leave their thoughts very special and for that I thank you.:)

Author's Response: Thanks for letting me know you're reading this! I enjoyed writing it and if you like a jealous Brian, you've come to the right place. This was one of my earlier works so it's perhaps not quite as elaborate as some of my more recent ones, but I liked it just the same.:) Not quite sure where I get my inspiration with these - LOL! In this case, I noticed a while back that Randy Harrison actually had a very nice singing voice and had acted in some musicals and it just came together I guess when I saw the CD I had of "Footloose." I always thought with Justin's creativity that he would have been a shoo-in for a musical number! And it didn't hurt that "Let's Hear it for the Boy" was in there, too - plus the song "Dancing in the Sheets" came in handy, too (you'll find out soon....). Thanks again for taking the time to review; I'm so appreciative.:)

This was a good story it had me mesmerised till the last chapter I loved that every one saw Brian's jealousy and even Brian had to concede his feelings for Justin. We all know Brian Kinney does not do ordinary jealousy he does his own version of MINE MINE lol cheers Chris
