Gus’ lips rolled inward, a carbon copy of Brian’s signature contemplative look. “I just like…” he sighed again, more heavily this time. “I just wish I could forget about this for, like, an hour or something.” 

Brian made a small noise of realization that made Justin look toward him, and as soon as he registered the intention on his husband’s face, he moved closer to Brian and hissed, “No. Brian, you can’t.” 

Brian gave Justin his most charming smile and said, “Oh, but I can!”

A heartbroken Gus spends a weekend in New York with Brian and Justin. In an effort to help his son, Brian turns to a tried-and-true method.

An AU which popped into my head a few years back around St. Patrick's Day when I was listening to Tommy Fleming singing Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears.  (Which turned out to be ironic, because Brian doesn't actually enter the US through Ellis Island.)  It's set in the early 1900s.  Justin is the son of a wealthy NY merchant. Brian is a poor Irish immigrant.  Only the luck of the Irish could bring them together.

This fic is set about 12 years after the end of S5 and is part of the Gus/Dani Homecoming!future. Short version - Justin came back to Pittsburgh and he and Brian have been together through all that time, living in a house on the river that they bought after selling Britin. With thanks to SandiD - who put up with my pernickityness and complete inability to explain what I meant and did a wonderful image; if I stuffed it up at the end, then that's my clumsiness.

Slightly older Brian and Justin. They have never met but know that the other exists. Justin accidentally makes Brian fall in love with him over a weekend. This is not a story filled with mooneyes and smooching. This story involves storytelling, Viagra and obsessed Brian.

Justin finds something old that raises nostalgic feelings.

Molly Taylor doesn't expect to fall into bed with Hunter Novotny-Bruckner, but when it does happen, she expects it to be a one time thing. With 2,500 miles between them and completely separate lives, the odds are stacked against them. Yet here they are, still talking and trying to make this work. They should have tied this up on New Year's Eve, at the absolute latest, even though it makes Molly's chest hurt to even think that. It would have been better for both of them. They could have avoided all of this pining.

Brian has been acting weird, Justin can't help but think the worst. Maybe that's why he's more than pleasantly surprised with the outcome of things at the end.

This time last year I stumbled onto Midnight Whispers and this site became my new addiction. At first I just lurked, then I found the courage to review, and back in July I posted a story of my own. So what better way to celebrate the end of 2016 than submitting a new fic?  Happy 2017!

According to public opinion, Brian and Justin became acquainted beneath a lamp post in front of Babylon. But the truth is, and as quiet as it's kept, they were in and out of each other's lives on numerous occasions long before that fateful night. Enjoy!

A new friend (thanks, Giotto!) pointed out that there are still people interested in Queer as Folk. I have 600 pages of this story typed up, the rest is still a manuscript - as in, handwritten. Actual pen, actual paper. The story itself is finished, it just needs typing and proof-reading. I think I'll have about 1,000 pages when I'm done.

I recently lost a lot of stuff due to a computer crash; so I decided to finally put this here, where it will hopefully be safe for a while. (I once did have the whole thing typed up. I'll do it one more time, but I really don't want to do that again after that!)

So. This story is my take on what happens when Justin returns from New York. Some places in Pittsburgh are my invention, others actually do exist, or rather, they existed at the time I wrote this. I used a lot of the characters we saw in the series, and I created a few more.

I'm not giving any warnings - if you watched QaF, you know what to expect. (I don't write explicit f/f, or f/m - the explicit m/m scenes all have Brian in them.) Hope you enjoy!

But unbeknownst to him, Lidya had already planned ahead and Justin will soon find himself on the roads of Canada, meeting a 29 year old ad exec who's on a two month vacation, forced upon him by his boss after he had lost a major account.

Love can change you - even through the folds of time.

The guys enter a Battle of the Bands contest. Of course, it can't be that easy.

Brian and Justin meet under different (but not too different) circumstances. The day they meet, Justin becomes pregnant.
