In this AU tale Brian’s loft is a short train commute away from work and Liberty Avenue.  Justin is a fellow commuter and they develop a friendship over time.  This is not a story filled with the usual passion, but rather a way of showing that a closeness over time can develop into something more.  The timeline and some facts from the original series have been altered slightly to accommodate the story.

Post 513.  Spring Love story for the "Spring is in the Air" Challenge.  Brian and Justin continue their lives after Justin moves to New York.  After some time apart, Brian has a surprise for Justin.  Love and fun with Gus and an Easter egg hunt!    *A few small revisions made on Easter.*

Justin narrates his own version of the B/J love story in this AU version.  He meets Brian the day that Jason Kemp’s body is found.  (S2, E10).   The timeline is adjusted in that Justin has completed a 4 year art degree.  He’s 22, has had to hustle for survival and is tougher than he was in the series.  Brian is slightly OOC.  Inspired by the movie “Boy Culture” (X=J).

In the series, Brian and Justin meet in Pittsburgh and they both have New York dreams at one point or another.  What if they never met and didn't connect for the first time until they were in New York?  Would the passion and romance still be there?  This is that AU story.  Brian is slightly OOC because he's getting to the point in his life where he sees the value of having someone special.

This is an AU story that splits off from the original series at the end of Season 2.  Justin leaves Brian for Ethan, per series, but Justin is happy with Ethan for two years (not just a few months).  Brian is OOC from the original series - his outlook on life is different.  Will Justin and Brian find each other again?  How will a possible reconnection affect the rest of their lives?

This story imagines what could have happened after the end of QAF. I always imagined that Brian and Justin would somehow end up together though, and this is the best way I can see that happening.   Re-posting of this story.

Justin is 23 and has finished art school, dating Ethan throughout his college years.  Brian has his own ad agency and his life is OK, but he's never met Justin.  What will happen when they meet?  Will Justin leave Ethan for Brian?  AU story.

Brian and Justin are married, but there's trouble in paradise.  Brian is away on business a lot and Justin is lonely.  Justin gets reconnected with some old friends from Hollywood.  Will his old flame tempt him again?  Will this be the end for Brian and Justin?

Daphne has a question for Justin that will change their lives forever.

Series 1 – after Episode 3 -  Brian has Justin back at his place for a 2nd time.  Gap filler… all you see on the show is what's in the first paragraph below.  This story assumes the rest of what happened.

This AU story supposes that Brian comes to his senses about his feelings about Justin before he does in the actual series. It takes up where Justin is ending his trip to L.A.
