Author's Response: I'll echo Kim and thank you for your concern. I really appreciate it :) Plagiarism is the constant bane of fanfic writers, but thankful there's been none in this case. I am both Frayach and Maggie. I write under Maggie here because there isn't a full overlap between Fray's stories on AO3 and Maggie's stories here on MW. Thank you for being a watchdog. Plagiarism wouldn't be as much of a problem if everyone wayched out for each other like you did for me. Thank you!

Sequel please please please! What a great story, I loved the way you allowed for the changing times which every city goes through but seldom gets discussed and here it really affected people, just like in real life

I love reading about city revitalization efforts. Being an urban-dweller, I like to think that American cities can someday be as vital and thriving as Europe's.

This does not look to have a happy ending. In spite of being totally realistic.
Author's Response: Actually, it DOES have a happy ending! Yes, it's on the ambiguous side, but I fully intended it to be a happy, positive ending. They stay together. Of, course it isn't easy, but by the end of the story, they've both reached a place where they can really commit to each other. That was my goal for writing this story - to bring them together in a way that seemed realistic to me.
