Post-513. It’s been three years since Justin returned from New York to live with Brian. Now for the first time, Justin’s family has been invited to Christmas dinner at Britin. Recently remarried, Jennifer asks Brian for advice about how to deal with her son’s dislike of his new stepfather.

It's been about six months to a year since they won back the prison. Since then the group has brought in a lot of people and they've made a life for themselves. All that changes though when people start to turn without getting bit or scratched and James and the Governor return. Not only that, but Justin's been acting weird. His mark's getting worse for some reason and he's slowly getting sicker. With everything going on nothing will ever be the same for the family.

Hello, everyone.  Today is special to me.  It marks the 7th Anniversary of the very first time I wrote and posted a fanfic story.  As has become my custom, I wanted to give you something special to thank all my wonderful readers for their loyalty and support of my work over the years.  

A little over a year ago, my muse abandoned me for a while and my work trickled down to almost nothing.  Then another couple entered my life and my muse returned full force.  To show my appreciation to both couples that inspire my work, I've chosen to write a little something about all 4 of my favorite men.

Rather than writing a story, per se, I've chosen a different format.  I decided to interview Brian, Justin, Agron, and Nasir.  I had only one important question to ask of each of them.  Why do you love the man in your life?  Thankfully all 4 men came to me and took time to answer the question in depth.  I hope you will enjoy their interviews.

A little research into ancient Roman history was the inspiration for my version of how and why Nasir ended up with this interesting item around his neck. I was watching 'So You Think You Can Dance' when a performance was given to the song 'Somebody That I Used to Know'.  Bingo!!!  Another inspiration for a Brian/Justin love story.  Amazing how it keeps happening.  LOL!  Anyway, this is not a songfic.  Only the title inspired me.  This is a What If? story.  It begins with...What if Brian got the job in New York City that was offered just before the end of Season One and left Pittsburgh behind.  The story moves forward to five years later.  Justin has moved to NYC after graduating from PIFA and after a year in the City, he runs into Brian at a fine restaurant.  What happens then?

This is a little fic based on the wonderful movie "From beginning to end" (“Do começo ao fim”). It's about Francisco, his little half brother Thomás, and their love for each other. If you haven't seen it, you REALLY should. You will love the lighting and music, and you will be just obsessed with the two actors (oh my...). I highly recommend this movie, the only thing you'll regret after seeing it, is that it is just 90 minutes and has no sequel.

Some people say that From Beginning to End is about gays or incest. But I disagree. That’s not what it’s about. For me, it is about pure love that shows no boundaries.

***Featured Story for March 2015***

Damn!  I can't believe that it is time to celebrate my Fifth Anniversary of the day I posted my very first fanfic story.  It is really true that time flies when you are having fun.  LOL!  Well folks, as is my custom I have written a new story to share with my beloved readers who have made these five years so special to me.  I hope you will enjoy it.

For this story, I decided to answer (in my version) the question that was never fully explored on the series.  We all presume that the bombing of Babylon was caused by people who hated the protesters of the Prop 14 bill.  The show never actually followed through with an investigation into the bombing.  I have come up with my own theory, and the fact that Brian is re-opening the club will bring the truth out.  Oh, and while we're at it, the re-opening will also be slightly different than what the show presented.  In my version, a certain special someone also attends much to Brian's delight.  One guess as to who I'm talking about.

Then one fateful night, at a family gathering at Deb's, a comment made by someone in the family throws everyone and everything into a tailspin. After a horrible argument the boys split up for good, severing all ties, and the family is forever fractured. Twelve years later, a 17 year old Gus finds photographs of Brian and Justin together and goes on a quest to find out what happened between the two in the hope of mending the ties that bind them all together. Enter various beloved characters from the original show that tell him their sides of the story.

I heard a new song called 'Black Out the Sun' by Darren Hayes on an LJ QAF fan site and immediately got the image of this all important night when Brian finally said 'I Love You' to Justin for the first time.  I was so inspired I had to re-visit that scene and give my version of Brian's thoughts that fateful evening.  I have filled in a couple of gaps from the show, such as the time between Brian's hearing the radio announcement of the bombing and his arrival at Babylon, and the short period of time when Brian was with Debbie at the hospital chapel and before he came back for Justin.  I hope you will enjoy my interpretation.  I've included the lyrics to the song (which do not belong to me, of course) so that you can understand why it affected me the way it did.  A huge debt of gratitude goes to my beloved Granddaughter for the remarkable banner she made for this story and my wonderful beta, Judy.

Inspiration: It's Summer and I live in SoCal (Southern California)... and my a/c broke 2 days ago. This is the result. My muse highly agreed with this.

It's summer 1957 in Hazlehurst, MS. Teenage Brian & Justin can't stand each other. When forced to work together they'll discover more about life & themselves. A coming of age tale of youthful innocence, finding friendship, exploring sexuality & first loves.

It is the last night before Justin moves to New York City.  Brian waits at the loft for Justin's arrival.  As he waits, he thinks back on the last five years of his life and the young man who changed everything for him.  He has special plans for this night.  Will it end the way he hopes for, or will this be another of their foolish separations to deal with?  Another fic inspired by the words of a song.  Many thanks to Judy for her beta skills.  They are invaluable to me.  I owe a great debt to my darling Granddaughter and banner maker, Marika, who is becoming more skilled every day.  I love you both.

I wrote this story in answer to a challenge by Beater101 on Fanfiction who wanted a story based on the song The Trial of Lancelot, by Heather Dale. The song may not be what I would typically listen to, nor is it a standard rock song; it’s kind of new agey and very soft. However, since it is quite literally based on the Trial of Lancelot, and I love the tale of King Arthur, I couldn’t help but read the lyrics and therefore be inspired to write a fan fiction based on the song. If you’re curious about the song itself, it’s on YouTube (song and lyrics).

This was meant to be a quick story, with a brief intro, the song and a one paragraph conclusion. I underestimated by own mind and love of King Arthur (and love of Brian/Justin), and went overboard. This is my first fantasy fanfic, so please go easy on the reviews if you don’t like it.
