I loved this, I loved him finding that trinket and I could see the smile on his face as he realised what it actually was. I'm so glad that Nasir loves it and was proud to wear it.

Wonderful work x

Thank you so much for checking out this story too, Vicki, despite not having watched the Spartacus series.  I loved creating my own idea as to how, where, and why Nasir started wearing that particular necklace during the last Season of the show.  It was never mentioned, but was such a distinctive item.  I researched the necklace and found that they did exist then and were considered good luck talismans by the Romans.  Thank you again for commenting.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

wow, that was great. i kept looking at nasir's necklace wondering what those hanging objects reminded me of, now that's all i see when i look...thanks ;} this was so freaking sweet. i loved that agron waited for after they made love to give to him. made me squee like a little fangirl. can't wait for more nagron stories. i'm hoping you do one after the whole jealousy issue was resolved. when they finally started talking again. i so want to see agron tell nasir how sorry he was. my mouth dropped when he said the words, 'comanded you.' i'm hoping someone (hint hint) will write something of with that 'talk.' i've read a few and they are good, so i know yours will be great. please continue with these stories.

Hee hee!  The first time I realized what I thought those pendants were on Nasir's necklace, I thought it was just my fevered imagination.  The more I saw it the more I knew what it was meant to be and so I simply googled it.  Sure enough, I learned about the ancient custom of wearing and displaying such things for protection in Roman households.  That was all I needed to know to develop this story, especially when I realized that Nasir never took it off during the entire third Season, which meant it had special meaning for him.  What would have more meaning than a gift from Agron?

I am working on my next Nagron story and I owe you a debt of gratitude big time.  I wasn't sure what I would tackle next until reading your review last night.  It was the perfect inspiration for my next story entitled, 'A Wrong Thing to Say'.  I hope you will enjoy it.  Hope to have it up as soon as my beta can get to it.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

okay, so i finally was able to watch the last episode (as that was what was On demand)... thanks to your stories, it was much easier to figure out who was who and what I missed...holy crap that show is intense! good...but wow: intense! i felt like I needed to run after watching it!!! LOL

love your stories even MORE now!

Author's Response:

Wow!  What a sweet thing to say.  Thank you Snow.  I agree, Spartacus is not a show for wimps.  LOL!  What it does have that makes it so special (something that QAF also had a lot of) is characters that you really care about and get to know really well.  Even the bad guys end up being fascinating...literally the kind you love to hate.  I'm working on my next Nagron story now and hope you will enjoy it too.  See you then.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Love. I tried watching an episode On Demand, but my son walked in and I had to change it...lol I'll try again tonight LOL I loved this story

I'm so glad you enjoyed this story, Snow.  And you certainly did the right thing.  Even if someone can't see the screen, the language is far too adult for anyone underage.  I'm just glad that my household is all adults now that my Granddaughters are grown.  I don't have to censor my viewing quite as stringently.  LOL!  Thank you so much for your kind thoughts.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Agron and Nasir are such a beautiful couple and it's kinda cute of Agron to give Nasir the necklace for protection. A very well considered gift! It made me smile.

Thanks for sharing!

Author's Response:

You are most welcome, Sheela.  And thank you for your lovely comment.  I was curious about the necklace, recognizing what the pendants were, so I researched into ancient Roman jewelry.  When I found out what the phallus meant to the Romans and how often it was either worn or hung as decoration in their homes, I knew I had a story that would fit our boys.  I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Huge hugs, Grammy
