Just read your little story, this little oneshot. And I am surprised and overwhelmed! Surprised - because you seem to think the same way I do. Always thought I'm the only one! ;-) That Brian and Justin... pardon me, Gale and Randy of course - they belong together and that's a fact! So Gale can tell me a thousand time he's straight I won't believe him! Like you wrote: bi maybe! But I prefer "gay"! ;-)

And I am overwhelmed the first time when I read that you watched both of them. The look in their eyes. Gosh... *sigh* Always when I see them in a youtube-video or in QaF I'm like a teardrop in the sun, butter in the sun - still melting! No chance for keeping cool! Both of them crawled under my skin and straightly into my heart. I love Brian + Justin. And Gale created a fantastic Brian. And that guy is so amazing and smart and such an a...hole and so much gay that the person behind him (Gale) HAS to be gay too! If I remember the scenes with this girl in "Hellcats" or Teri Hatcher... I mean - hallooooo? That were simply peanuts, no harmony, no vibes, nothing!! IF he is straight (how he always want to tell us!) - then I'm asking you: Why are the scenes with Randy so breath-taking/hot/whateva... And the scenes with women so - so YAWNING??? ;-)))

I love this little oneshot of you! And that's why I wanna say THANKS for writing and for sharing! *hugs*

Author's Response:

First thanks for the review and praise... always wonderful to know my writing is enjoyed. And I prefer gay, too... but I honestly think that straight is so the norm that maybe it wasn't questioned, till he met that one man that made him stop and think... then of course the scenes they had to film. I have never seen more chemistry on screen. It was more interesting to see him as Julian on Hellcats with Aly, they had an interesting dynamic... but certainly nothing even close to just one kiss as Brian with Justin. And I'm glad you think like that, too. So many RPS read so differently than this, I really thought this was as close to reality as possible. And after seeing them in person, watching their eyes connect, I could feel it, literally feel it, there is so something there.

And Gale on DH, laugh, yawn, roll my eyes... so not the business! Gale was a fantastic Brian... he put just enough of his personality into Brian to make it absolutaly believable. Now that I've seen Gale in person, met him and seen him on stage, there was just enough Gale in Brian to make me believe even more that there's something there.

In late July I will be working on another RPS based on Randy in Tommy; if Gale shows up, that will make my RPS go in a different direction than where it's going now. I wanted to do an RPS based on New York legalizing same-sex marriage, but I'm not sure I want to.

Hugs back, Laura :) xoxo

Oh yes...I believe it, there's something wonderful and special between them. And it's in their eyes, like in the eyefuck scene. *sigh* It was this kind of chemistry you could feel in their lovescenes. I so miss QAF.

I once read a RPS and the Autor wrote something like, Gale is randysexuell and I thought yes...thats the perfect word to describe it.

Thank you so fucking much for sharing your observation and your amazing story, I sooooo love it! More please!

Maybe Gale surprises us and goes to Berkshire this year to see Randy in Tommy. ;)

Author's Response:

Thanks for the wonderful review... I had fun writing this story, and after my observations... there's something there, has to be. I will be working on another RPS, later, after Tommy. I have a few directions I can go with it, but I will wait to see if Gale does show up. I had a feeling Randy was going to show up to see Gale, and I was right. And I have a feeling Gale with go to see Randy, so hopefully that feeling is just as right. Thanks again, glad you enjoyed. Laura :) xoxo

Aww, this was so sweet and intimate and wonderful!  I'm so glad you told the story about them looking at each other when they were all together for Gale's play not long ago.  I will agree with you and believe with all my heart that they have something between them that will always be there.  It would be totally awesome if Gale could sneak away to see a performance of Tommy! :-D

Thanks for this!  I'll read it more than once, I'm sure!

Hugs, Cindy

Author's Response:

Thank you for the kind words and review. I had written this RPS a while ago, but after seeing them together I felt my RPS held even more truth. I believe it, too... and I was thinking of Tommy... I believe I will be working on another RPS soon based on that. Although I might wait until later in July after the play has started. Not only do I have a few friends actually going to that play, but I will look for Gale sightings, then I'll work on an RPS based on circumstances. I already have a few ideas, but I want to base them on what might actually happen. Your welcome, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Hugs back, Laura xoxo

I really loved this story. But i especially loved the way you described it.

As you watched them "gazing into each others eyes". I'm happy that other people can see that, too. I just know they are close, maybe even more than friendship. I mean, i believe Gale when he says that he's straight, but i also believe that if you really love a person strong enough, it doesn't matter what gender they are. ;)

Diana

Author's Response:

Absolutely! I know there are people who are completely homosexual and wouldn't ever be attracted to the opposite sex, but I think overall, even if people don't know, won't admit it, or just do what's expected... we mostly have the potential to love any gender because we fall in love with the person, not the body parts. And expressing that love is so much more than just sex... any physical traits don't really matter when you love someone. There are men who are just straight because that's the way they were raised and that's what society says is right... but you never know what might happen when you meet the right person.

And yes, seeing them gaze into each other eyes, there is no doubt in my mind that there's something there. Thank you for the review, I'm really glad you liked it, my amazing experience certainly reaffirmed my own ideas about them. As fun and great and entertaining all these fanfiction sites and stories are... it proves to me how many people are open and accepting... it's wonderful to be in a group of like minded people. Thanks again, I am really glad you liked my story. Laura :)

You're welcome! And thank you for the review! And believing is why I wrote it... cause I could see it happening. Thanks! :)
