Beautiful!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Julieta! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. My friend Tania gifted me with that manip, and I just couldn't resist writing a story about it. Thank you for reading, and especially for taking the time to comment; it is very much appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Some people make Justin's success amazingly fast and wonderful.  I prefer your way, success, but realistically.  I'm kinda surprised that Brian waited so long before diving right end.  But it went well with your banner which is amazing btw.

Author's Response:

Thank you, my dear - that was done by my friend, Tanya, who has done banners for me before. This one looks SO real!  Sigh...if only.;)  I actually got to meet Tanya in Cologne at the con in 2012 - that was so great!  We had dinner one night with one Australian, three Americans, two Germans, and two Russians. Now if that doesn't show how QAF is universal, nothing does.  Thanks again for all the support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

They aren't really any words for how lovely this was <3 Beautiful and bittersweet and romantic all at the same time. Gorgeous.

Zoe :)

Author's Response:

Hello, Zoe!  I'm so happy that you liked this one.  My friend, Tanya, came up with the photo and it looked so real that I was inspired to write a story about it.  I could envision them in a NYC hotel room after Justin had left, still in love and still making a go of it.  That's the way I like to think of them.  Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to comment, Zoe; it means more to me than you know.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I LOVED IT!!!! But then again, it's one of your works, so it's obvious it's gonna be great....  So unbelievably romantic!!! Hope to read you soon! Kisses!

Author's Response:

Aww...thanks for the lovely compliment, Mafita!  I really appreciate that, and I'm delighted that you enjoyed the story.:)

I'm working on the next chapter of "Parent Trap" right now - have about 9,000 words of it written, so I'm making good progress.  I'm still not where I want to end it yet, though, so it may be a few more days yet.  But it shouldn't be too long now.  Thank you again for reading and for leaving feedback; and thank you for your ongoing support of all my stories; that means so much to me.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I read about the saxophone and I immediately thought of my girl Jadzia playing her alto saxophone for Brian and Justin * giggles *.

Sweet story, thanks.

* hugs *

Author's Response:

Hi, Marny! I always think of jazz music (kind of like Kenny G's) as being so romantic and sexy and oh-so Brian to me.:)  I'll make sure the next time they need a saxophone player that they call your daughter in (she'll have to leave later, though - they're not into threesomes any more - ha!).  Still any chance we can meet next month?  Would LOVE to get the chance somehow!  Thanks as always for the support, my dear friend.  *Hugs* back to you.  ~Kim

What a sweet, loving story! I can't stop looking at that picture.....

Author's Response:

Aww...thank you, dear friend, for reading and for the lovely comments.  I totally agree about the picture; it looks so real!  When I first saw I fell in love with it and my vivid imagination went into overtime - ha!  If only (sigh)...they have such wonderful chemistry together!  I can't wait to see the two of  them together again next month at the con!  Thank you again for taking the time to leave me your thoughs; your ongoing support of my stories means so much to me!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

How romantic! It was so sweet!

Author's Response:

Hi, Stephanie, my friend! Always so great to hear your thoughts; I'm so happy that you enjoyed this one.  I love the photo - it always makes me smile thinking of the boys being happy together.  Thank you for reading and for all your support, Sweetheart, that means a lot to me.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

hey, it's me again.  was packing to leave and got a text from Lee about this story.  i just love it, so romantic, like our boys can be.  so happy to see you are better and writing again.  WONDERFUL!  the name of this story sounded so familiar-then i remembered my grandmothers record collection-45"s there was a song by jimmy rodgers-kisses sweeter than wine.  i used to spend some weekends with her and we would play these old songs-brought back a lot of memories.  be well. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  I'm glad you had a chance to read this one before you left.  I felt like writing a little fluff before I get back into the dirty world of politics.  I'm doing better than before, but last night wasn't the greatest - still being awakened with rib pain from the pleurisy and still sound like a strangled chicken when I sneeze, so I know I'm not at 100% yet.  I guess I'm just very impatient to get this illness out of my system!  Plus my PICC unit is driing me nuts - I hate having this thing hanging from my arm 24/7, but it beats lying in a hospital bed to have the antibiotics pumped into me.  Thanks so much for all your kindness, lindc; please have a safe trip and hurry back - I'll miss you!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I liked everything in this story except the description of the meal. I just spent too much time living in a country where squid did show up in way too many dishes!! (yuck) You do have amazing skills as an author, just one simple word from you can bring up vivid memories and tastes (blech) in an instant. Thanks for such a sweet happy little treat. The perfect start to the weekend.
Lori

Author's Response:

Hi, Lori!  Yes, I've never had squid and I don't think I'll be imbibing in that anytime soon, either!  I could imagine Justin taking the time to cook something up for Brian himself, though, so I thought it only fair that Brian should have to eat it - LOL!  I'm so glad you liked this one.  I'll be posting the next chapter of "My Heart's Desire" later today to resolve the issue of just who got stabbed last time.  Thanks so much for your wonderful comments my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

This is a wonderful fic for the pic.  I loved it.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Jane, for the comments; I really appreciate that!  Yes, the woman who gifted me with the manip is the same one who has done the last few banners for me; she's very talented, isn't she?  I loved this manip from the moment I saw it and thought it evoked how the boys might be down the road after the show ended.  Thanks so much for reading and for your feedback, my firend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Kim: I love post 513 stories and this one is no exception. I can feel the love between them - a touch of angst as they aren't together like they want, but still feel the genuine admiration both men have for each other.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Sandy, I appreciate your reading and commenting on this one-shot.  I felt like a little fluff before diving back into the dirty world of politics again!  So glad you liked it; thanks for letting me know.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi, Kim!  Thank you for reading and for the well wishes; I really appreciate that, my friend.  I'm doing better - not nearly up to 100% yet, but since I'm being forced to 'rest' (ugh), I figure I might as well make good use of my time and get some story updates done.  I'm glad that you enjoyed this one; thank you for letting me know.  And thank you for being such a big supporter/reader of my stories; that means a lot to me.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

BTW - the pic is amazing - just how I would picture them - I love it!

Charle

Author's Response:

Hi, Charle!  I know, I LOVE this photo, don't you?  It's amazing how realistic it is!  I like to think of the boys sitting there having some wonderful after-dinner conversation, just the two of them, staying focused on each other's lives and just being a couple.  Thank you for reading and for the comment, Sweetheart; I can always count on your support and that means so much to me.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I love this manip!! I love this sweet story to go with it!!

Hey sweetie, I just wanted to say I'm sorry I haven't reviewed for awhile. RL has been rough for some time. Not as rough as yours though, and you're supposed to be resting!! Anyway, I'll be better about reviewing, I promise. I love all your works!!

Author's Response:

Hi, Megan Rose!  So nice to hear from you again, my friend; don't apologize for the lack of responses; I certainly know how that can be.  I'm just glad to see that you're still enjoying reading my stories.:)

At least I can rest and still sit here and type at the same time, so I decided to take advantage of it.  I'm trying hard to rest up and get all recovered before my trip to Germany in June - even if I go on a gurney, I'm getting on that plane - ha!  Thank you for reading and taking the time to leave feedback, my friend; I'm always delighted to hear from you.  Hope things smooth out for you in your own life, too, Sweetheart.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

this is absolutely delightful - a perfect moment for the boys - and great writing which must mean that you are feeling somewhat better!

thanks Kim

Charle

Author's Response:

Two responses from you for the same story - I'm honored.:)  I appreciate everyone's well wishes so much, Charle; I think that has helped me to recover defiinitely.  Thanks again for all the support you give me.:)

WELL WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?  YOU MUST BE FEELING SOMEWHAT BETTER.  I WAS GOING HERE TO LEAVE YOU A FEEL BETTER MESSAGE AND FOUND THIS-SO I GUESS YOU MUST BE FEELING A LOT BETTER.  I WILL BE READING THIS LATER ON AS OUR PARTNER IN CRIME HAS LEFT THE "BUILDING".  SHE IS TAKING  A MUCH NEEDED BREAK.  SHE IS A WORKAHOLIC AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW BY NOW.  THIS WAS A VERY RIDICULOUSLY ROMANTIC LITTLE GEM. THE PEEPS WILL LOVE IT.  THERE ARE TWO MORE OF US NOW-RECRUITS IF YOU WILL.  ONE OF THEM JAMIE SAW TOMMY AND RED-WHO KNEW.  HE IS NEW TO THE STAFF AND BIT LIKE EMMETT-SO FUNNY.  WE LIKE HIM PROFUSELY,  THE OTHER RECRUIT JASON IS QUITE STOIC, SO THE JURY IS OUT ON HIM STILL.  WE ARE A STRANGE WONDERFUL LITTLE CLAN HERE. SO GLAD YOU ARE GETTING WELL. LOVE 2 U

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetheart!  Yes, I had this manip for a while and kept staring at it, thinking I really need to write something to go with it and this was the result.:)  I'm glad you liked it, my friend.  So we have some new 'peeps,' huh?  That's great!  I hope they enjoy the storytelling.  Are you going to let them in on the 'betting pool?'  If so they'd better place their bets quickly, because I have the next chapter of "Heart's Desire" written and it will be up later today. It will resolve exactly who wound up getting stabbed and how badly.  I wonder if you've figured it out yet?  Hmmm....

I am doing better, but last night wasn't as good as I would have hoped.  I didn't have to get up and take a pain pill, but the rib pain still woke me up around 1 a.m. and I couldn't get back to sleep for a long time.  I'm very restless at night lately with the discomfort and am impatient to get this darn pneumonia out of my system, but I know it's definitely not gone yet.  And I hate toting around this bag with the IV of Nafcillin and pump around my shoulder 24/7, but I know it has to be done until next Thursday.  I am glad to report, though, that about ten pounds of the water retention that I had gained while in the hospital is gone (talk about adding insult to injury - LOL!), so that's one relief.  Yuck!  Not a good thing to come home to after working so hard to lose 28 lbs since Christmas!

Anyway, thank you again for all the well wishes and the prayers, Lee; to you, Brian, lindc, and anyone else who left a good word for me.  That has helped me tremendously, just knowing how much everyone cares.  I'm sending my love and a big hug back your way.  ~Kim

Awwww...I've actually watched the last episode yesterday night and today reading this as a continuation seemed perfect in every way imaginable. Loved it, made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Author's Response:

Thank you for those kind words, sweetheart, I really appreciate that.:)  I like to think the boys might have perservered just the way the story played out.  BTW - I'm very eager to read the next chapter of "Wedlocked," - really looking forward to your update on that one, my dear.

I'm feeling much more like myself now - should have updates to all of my own stories up very soon now.  Thank you for reading and for your kind words, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Ah, nice one, Kim! And that picture - absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks, darling, for this lovely little story. I hope you are resting well and feeling better with every passing minute.

Cheers,

Vin

Author's Response:

Hi, Vin, my dear, thanks for reading my one-shot.:)  I have the next part of "Heart's Desire" written; I'm just waiting for Gloria to get it back to me when she's able to.  I'm feeling much better - the rib pain is almost gone.  Just need to get my strength back now.  Thanks again for the feedback and yes, I love this manip, too!  *Hugs*  ~Kim
