It is such a good story is there any chance that perhaps you could small epilogue ( sorry spelling) maybe kill mikey off, or have an ending for Lindsay ,not a one in her favor, to kind of tidy up. There needs a little closure. Hi kathleen, forgot to mention in my review, of all the pictures you used the best was of Gale Harold on a raft in a pool in the film lo fidelity . On youtube they show behind the scenes where he wears a strap-on under his swim trunks for an huge hard on, out take was really funny, he was making gorilla sounds and jumping around the room while being helped in wardrobe! Also you granted me one wish by up dateing on this story I'm greedy !!! my second wish I'd really like an up date on Christmas Presents it is such a touching story with Gus and Jamie and the heartbreak for Mel on many levels

I was so happy to see a new chapter, however some things stays the same. mikey has a single figure I.Q.--Lindz still thinks the world revolves around her, and Deb is as blind as they come when it comes to blame Brian for her sons mishaps. The great thing is Mel now knows what a good father Brian is and how much Jenny R. loves him and Justin. Of course now I want another chapter, its your fault, you got me interested again.

How did I miss this. I usually check MW everyday unless I'm out of town. This is one great chapter. From Deb wanting Brian to fix everything and Emmett realizing that it really isn't Brian's problem and telling her so. Poor Justin, needing a model. It could have been worse, he could have ended up using a girl. At least Gus and Brian found the whole thing amusing.

I always reviewed under vlsope2@ , now this new system is crazy. First of all when is Deb going to realize she's an enabler she has cause Mikey's problems by not holding him responsible for his own fuck ups! She thinks because of Brian's money he should fix everyones problems, she even said "you owe my kid" all he owes Mikey is a swift kick and how Lindsey can be so blind to her actions, these two tools never act like there are responsible for crimes that won't go away or that money can't fix, it would serve them right to rot in jail for decades. I love your story, even if I get mad as a wet hen at the two most un-likeable characters. more chapters please.

I felt the need to catch up and reread this story from the beginning - I had forgotten a lot of what had happen. So the past couple of days I have been happily rereading. Michael and Lindsay have certainly got themselves into a lot of trouble. I hope that Brian doesn't give in and help them any more than he already has. Eventually people have to be held accountable for their mistakes - especially ones like these. So glad that Mel and Leda are happy and everything is working out between them and the boys.
Best line in the latest chapter has got to be - "Justy, why was that man in our kitchen?" followed as a close second - "Yes, Justy. Why was that man in our kitchen?" - absolutely the best......LOL

Oh boy poor Brian having to deal with Linds and Joan. I'm super happy that he is finally saying the Hell with Mikey. Poor Em and Ben too. I have zero sympathy for Deb, I have always thought she was a HORRIBLE mother. Glad Mel and Leda are doing so well. Looking frward to what happens next. Author's Response: I know Brian's on overload taking care of his estranged family, cutting them off would do wonders for him. It's a shame that Ben feels guilty about all of Michaels troubles, but him and Em are strong and they'll make it through this hurdle. Debbie,like Michael reaps what she's sown. I really think Leda is such a better match for Mel, I wish we would have seen more of that in the show, maybe when Lindsay went all Sam crazy. Dogs that snore, adorable... Great story. I don't see any lawyer getting Lindsay out on bail, 2 dead children, drunk driving and trying to leave the country, it's time to cool her heels in jail. Joan's drinking has finally caught up with her, 90 days in a center to dry out seems like a good idea. with Michael's diagnosis and there is no cure could he put in mental insitution for life?

Is sad to see Brian lost his two oldest friends that way. Now we know that Michael is not only crazy, but Lindsay is worse and also, she's a murderer.
I'm sorry for what she did and it inevitably will affect Gus sometime. It is very hard for any child to take the knowledge of how a parent can be evil and dangerous.

Oh no- those poor children. It is so sad that Lindsay decided that her freedom is more important than her life with Gus and her support system. Now she will have none of those. Wow some much progress in this chapter. I'm stunned at what happened with Lindsay as I was convinced at the end of the last chapter that she was back for good. So very happy to be wrong!
As for Mikey what can I say? I'm glad Brian is aware he is still insane and I hope he is worried enough to protect Justin if or when Mikey gets out of jail.
Still loving this story and I was very pleased to see this update today. I had wondered when you would write more. Thank you for the update.

I knew it was a bad idea for Brian to forgive Lindsay so easily. But the idea that she is responsible for the deaths of two children, not to mention injuring a few others, just drives the point home even more. I'll admit that this was tough to read as I never really thought that any of the children wouldn't make it. I'm even more furious about the fact that she could just up and leave right back out of her son's life the way she did. Gus didn't get the courtesy of a goodbye the first time around, and here the bitch has done it again. I am beyond disgusted with Lindsay and her selfish actions.
Now on to Michael...not much can be said except that he really needs to try to get a grip on reality. And as for Matthew...I smell trouble big time. Justin better have his guard up at all times now. That boy feels like he's been led on and he will come seeking some kind of vengeance.
P.S. did I mention how much this chapter truly upset me?

Lynette and her parents are as delusional S Michael still seems to be. Even if Lindsay had any rights back, Brian would still have his. Never would he allow Gus to be adopted.
He forgave her too quickly. Should have let her stew...no matter what she had gone through with Sam and her family. She was going to sell her child. Way too quickly.
As for knowing where Mel and Leda live. Not until she's finished with her long term therapy.

I'm so glad that they found out why Lindsay wanted custody of Gus. I'm not sure I could have forgiven her like Brian has. As for Justin suggesting he see Mikey, I can see that Mikey will never change and the authorities will probably see it as well. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Things are just getting interesting. Lindsay is up to something, that's sure. Funny that nobody told her that Mikey's in jail. I'm surprised that she didn't say anything when Ted told her that Ben and Emmett were on vacation. Love how the pics fit so perfectly into the story.

I love your story, Brian has become the man Justin always felt he truly was, a great man, great father, and a great husband. However somethings never change Mikey is a childish jerk who only thinks of his needs and how everyone should revolve around his desires and I doubt that would ever change, Debbie has always catered to him no matter if he was wrong or right. Lindsay is pretty much the same as Mikey, she expects everyone to do as she wants and really childish in her behavior. I love the pictures that are seen between the paragraphs and I love them, especially of Brian's (Gale Harold's ) cute tushie . I may be sixty-seven years old, but I know what I like!

Hmmm...I'm not sure that I could be so forgiving of Lindsay after her little performance in court. Yes she may have been manipulated by her family, but let's face it she had a great deal of understanding about what was going on.
Mikey still remains delusional as far as he and Brian are concerned. Maybe Brian does need to pay Mr. Novotnay a visit to make the situation crystal clear once and for all.
Author's Response: I know what Lindsay did is inconceivable... Brian was probably to fast at forgiving her, but he needs his Wendy in his life. So hopefully she'll get the therapy she needs and earn his trust again... Great update. Brian and Justin are great togehter and I love how Brian goes to all the musuems with Justin- Its nice to see everyone rallying around B/J and not bad mouthing him- Brian has friends on his side.

Great update! I don't want to sound snide but I wasn't expected another update this fast! Also when i read B/J fic with a side of Linds/Mikey hate I really want Linds/Mikey to get what's coming to them. I hope no judge will take Gus away. I bet once Lindsay finds out about B/J new life, she would go crazy with jealousy and when Justin's art takes off. The only bad part about this chapter is that it is so good that I want an update now and it reminds me of that other great story (Christmas presents) that I can't wait for update.

I don't know what she's hiding, but whatever it is it's a losing battle. She won't win, she can't. So glad no-one was around for her to talk to. Loved the image if Ted slamming the door in her face. Way to go Ted. Poor Brian. Reverting to his old self doubt and insecurities about being a good father. What a bitch for doing that to him. Happy for Michael, he made a friend. Aww I loved this update! So worth the wait! Glad to see marriage is making the boys even happier. Happy Ben and Emm are getting away. Even happy for Mel and Leda but I always did like them both. Not surprised Mikey is still off his rocker. I do hope someone figures that out before he is released and tries to hurt Justin again.

Marriage and fatherhood seems to agree with Brian, and I think having Mel and Leda close by will be good for both Gus and Jenny Rebecca. Well...there was definitely alot going on here. Mikey still needs to wise up, Mel and Leda are doing great, Gus and JR are precious as ever, Ted is in love, I'm still not sold on Ben and Emmett, and Carl and Deb are getting ready for their big day...did I miss anybody lol ;)
Oh yes, it's good to see Brian and Justin finally getting to a really good place in their relationship...hopefully it stays on track this time.
