Living in the UK, we've only had S1 here, so I've had to keep up by buying the DVD's and reading as much as I can! Well, S3 arrived yesterday! I managed to watch the first two episodes last night and cried throughout 301 and a good part of 302! And seeing how Brian (looking more beautiful than ever, if that's possible) is so lost without Justin, still refusing to admit how he feels and yet his every action screams otherwise. The same actions that should have told Justin how much Brian loved him, even if he couldn't say those pretty words. Everyone's bad-mouthing him, but woe-betide anyone bad-mouthing Justin! Even leading to Brian hitting his best friend; the first time they've ever fought. And the end of 302; seeing Brian dancing by himself in the middle of the crowded dance floor, lost in the music, or whatever chemical substance he's taken in order to get through, is heartbreaking. Subsequently, I got up at 00.45am this morning in order to put this down on paper. It's not very long (not as long as this preamble!), but I hope you like it.

This story is the result of the request by a wonderful reader of mine named Lorie.  It begins in 2005.  Justin is a young man in NYC who makes his living as the writer of gay porn and adult fiction.  He has bigger goals for himself.  He dreams of publishing the great American gay romance novel, but he has little to base it on.  Justin does not do relationships and has little trust of others due to a painful childhood.  Brian Kinney is the owner of his own ad agency which has taken on Justin's publishing house as a new client.  What will happen when Brian and Justin meet eventually...two lost souls afraid of committment.  I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my Granddaughter, Amy, for the banner and my friend Pat for beta help.  I also want to thank Lorie for trusting me with her idea.  So enjoy and remember that comments are always welcome.

Brian is approaching his 40th birthday. Tragedy strikes and he suddenly has custody of his ten year old son, Gus.

Its here the second book in the Death of Brian Kinney series! Picks up about three weeks after 'It won't be long'. Things are moving along in the qaf world, and it seems that everyone might finally get what they want, but there is no modern romance.

First of all, please let me apologize for the long delay in getting this story started. I encountered computer problems over a week ago and then was hit by health problems that have kept me from working on my writing for over a week. I'm doing better each day and hope to be back in the swing of things asap. Now on to this story. This is the sequel to Double Trouble and it will help you to understand the characters and their motivations if you've read DT first. Hopefully this one will stand up well on its own, however. This story picks up four years after DT ends. This time it is Gus and boyfriend Jason who are graduating from college and their sisters who are graduating from high school. The story will look back on the previous four years and then move on to their new lives together. Brian and Justin, still happily married, look with pride on the kids they helped move into adulthood together. When he finally discovers the reasons behind it, both men are faced with a struggle so intense it stretches the boundaries of their love beyond where either thought possible.
