Upset about possibly spending the holidays without his sunshine or his sonny boy, a saddened Brian finds companionship with a bottle...or several. In this AU tale Brian’s loft is a short train commute away from work and Liberty Avenue. Justin is a fellow commuter and they develop a friendship over time. This is not a story filled with the usual passion, but rather a way of showing that a closeness over time can develop into something more. The timeline and some facts from the original series have been altered slightly to accommodate the story.

A/N: I realize that Thanksgiving holiday is pretty much over, but this story idea came to me DURING Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's, so as soon as I got home I got to writing and spent the rest of the weekend working on it. Couldn't help it, sue me! Since it's still technically the Thanksgiving weekend, I decided to go ahead and post it. Let me know what you think. Now, for the summary...
Summary: Justin's stuck in Europe during a natural disaster (nothing terrible happens, I promise) and is doing his best to find his way home for their first Thanksgiving back together, while Brian is at home doing everything he can to help his Sunshine give the best Thanksgiving dinner their family and friends have ever had.
Innocent Justin with dark Brian. Will Justin stay and fight? What will Brian use for his claim - charm, fear, or something in between?

Justin is out late again, with that other man, and it is killing Brian. But why is he out so late that night?
It's a little ficlet about Debbie (and Carl) taking place in 2014. Someone on Tumblr sent me a prompt with my favorite QAF character and the word "believe" so I came up with this.
"Brian had no idea how Justin could live this parallel life. How was it possible for Justin to split himself in two like that? To live with him, whilst stealing away to someone else, then returning home as if nothing had happened? Brian had never felt so betrayed, full of rage, and painfully manipulated in his life."
Gapfiller for 2x19, in which Brian and Justin descend towards a confrontation over Ethan.

*Note* For best effect, Picture Liberty Ave. draped in the shadows of 1940's Film noir. Set your imagination to black & white and embrace the smooth jazz tangled within the fog. Grab yourself a vodka martini with a twist and read in your best hard boiled detective voice. Savvy? :)
Each chapter will be titled after a popular song of the 1940's. A Lingo glossary will be provided at the end of each. :)

He could feel silky blond locks trapped beneath his fingers, and Sunshine's impossibly soft mouth under his, where it belonged. Then he remembered Justin had dumped him in Babylon...
I know, not a very creative title, but my brain has officially shut down for the night.
So I tried really hard to get this posted by midnight, not as part of a challenge, but for Jackie Mag's birthday! That's right, love, this story is dedicated to you! Sorry I didn't get more done, and it's posting late, but I wanted to have a few decent chapters, and some steaminess just for you.
This story was actually inspired by a plot bunny posted by Deb Tanner. I'm usually not much of one for plot bunnies and turning them into stories, but there was one that just seemed to catch my attention. It's me, so I couldn't do a quick, simple story, and this story will fit into QAF canon.
The plot idea as proposed: It seems that 12 yr. old Jenny Rebecca, Michael's little Honeybun, has her first crush… Justin is very flattered.
This story is a WIP, but it will be finished by the end of the week, promise.

This is supposed to happen a few months after the show ended, but it's 2014. I'm too lazy to to take changes in technology into account.... And smartphones make some things easier...
