Teenage AU. Justin moves to a small southern town in Tennessee. He meets new people, some good...some bad. One he meets is a boy in his homeroom class named Brian. Brian is just trying to get out of that same small town. Some OOC. Starts during September of 1996.

We are returning to Hawkin’s Island where the Taylor-Kinney compound is expanding in size of structures and people. Some family and friends  have moved on and some are joining the large, active clan. There are always unexpected situations but there is something that is one constant … they will always be there for each other.

Justin takes up a part time job at a prison. The thought of creating art with bunch of law breakers seems scary. Justin tries to keep a bubble around himself to block out all the evil reasons why the inmates are in the prison because living in ignorant bliss is easier. But what happens when a certain handsome inmate gets fixated on him? It can’t be a good thing that someone who is capable of taking a human life, is suddenly interested in him? And what about the fact that Justin’s eyes seem to find this inmate more often than allowed when he’s in the room? And to top the cake, Justin signed a document that states he can’t have any kind of personal relationships with the inmates. Now this seriously can’t end well, can it?

THIS STORY IS NOW COMPLETE

It's Valentine's Day at Babylon

It’s Devils’ Night and Justin is missing. Brian’s panicked, and Michael’s innocent act is failing miserably…

Brian visits Justin in New York for their planned weekend together (it follows 'Missing You...' so consider it a sequel but it's not necessary to read the previous one)

It was supposed to be One-Shot but I decided to make it a little longer... I hope you like it! :) I'll try to update soon!

Justin became a dad when he was sixteen. Now his son is seventeen and his best friend just happens to be Brian Kinney.

Now Michael knows he can't never have him.

Some loves you just can’t seem to let go…

Sometimes kids can be little monsters and unfortunately Brian finds that out the hard way.

Post-513. Justin is bored out of his mind at a dinner party with his latest boy toy. But can an unexpected guest turn the night around?

Brian and Justin attend a dinner party at Emmett and Drew's home.

This is the long awaited...at least by some, sequel to The Funeral. It started as funny but seemed to go back and forth between that and drama. I hope you like it anyway. Thanksgiving with the Kinney-Taylor family with all the surprises it entails.

The year is 1889 and Lord Justin Taylor has just buried his father.  Within a week he also lost the stable manager who had always been a gentle man he could talk to. He would never be as great a man as his father but he promised to do his best.  He had to figure out how to have a family and children when he was only interested in finding a man to love.

Justin is finally getting recognition for his talent. He has just made his first big sale.  Along with the sale comes notoriety come media attention.  After saying no to interview after interview, he finally says yes.  How was he to know that they would send Brian Kinney to ask the questions.  He had hated him since high school and now he had no option but to go through with the meeting.

Justin is at the end of his rope. He's seventeen, and has nowhere else to go after Brian kicks him out. Instead of running off to New York he decides to take a chance and try calling the only family he has left that he thinks will still except him for help.

Brian and Justin reconnect after being apart for eight years. There might be some interesting history involved in this.

100% au-story.

Brian and Justin have moved to Hawkin’s Island.  They wanted to spend as much time with their children. They were growing so fast.  It was a perfect place for Justin to create and Brian could still keep an eye on his businesses.  Emmett and James, as well as Kate and Quinn had joined them to keep the house running smoothly.

It is the perfect place for family and friends  to visit and children to have the best life possible. Britin has moved to paradise and life is good.

A Yours, Mine and Ours story. Brian is the father of ten kids and Justin the father of eight when they meet. This is a MPREG story so if it isn't your thing, I'm sorry.

The passage of time is ever constant. There is no such ting as 'Only time'. This is something Kagome knows all too well.

*Crossover prompt challenge. Other prompts can be found on other sites.

Brian and Justin meet in a different way. Justin is the older one this time. The brunet wants to form a family and once he has it he will protect it no matter what just like Justin would. Season 2 Episode 11:

Justin: This marriage stuff is kinda cool. In fact, I was thinking maybe someday…

Brian: What, you and I?

Justin: Yeah, stranger things have happened!

In tribute to Bob Brown, who sadly passed away on June 27, 2022, we are placing one of his most popular stories at the top of the Most Recent Page.  You will be greatly missed, Bob.

The Future of QAF after Season Five: Justin realized at once he didn't want to be in New York and soon calls Brian.  The owner of Kinnetik was on the verge of a nervous breakdown with problems at work and Justin's timing couldn't have been better. Gus needs them too.  Here's the continuation of the greatest love story ever told on TV. In time they and their friends take on the Holy Bible used against gays in the world.

Brian and Justin have an accident in bed.

One of our team is gone. Please read about his passing.

This is a completely random MPreg story where Brian is overdue and doesn’t like it one bit.

Brian has planned on getting married to his boyfriend but then again things don't always go as planned.  Would he be able to get his wishes, or will life throw him in a new direction?

Vicki Tubridy and I used to speak almost every day.  We had many conversations about stories and plot bunnies. Before she passed away she had asked if I would write a story from a plot bunny she had.  She pictured Gus as an EMT in training and he saved the life of one special stranger.  I hope I can tell a story that Vicki would enjoy.

The Taylor-Kinney family fell in love with Ireland but it was time to get back to  Pittsburgh and Britin. They met extended family and learned a lot about family history. When it was time to leave, Gus had to say goodbye to the best friend he had ever had.  Back in the U.S.A., new staff had to be hired and they wanted to catch up with old friends.

Stories starting in Ireland have followed them back to Britin. Old and new friends will support our favorite family through everything that comes their way.

Post-series, 6 months later. Justin goes on a reality TV show. There is hidden danger and shocking surprises around ever corner.

When a surprise visitor shows up at Britin, life is turned upside down for the Kinney-Taylor family.

The story is finished and will be updated once a week!

We're placing this at the top of our most recent stories to honor Vicki Turbridy (Vic32) who passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.  Vicki gifted us with many stories, but I'm sure during our sadness she would want us to find our smile, too.  You will be truly missed, Vicki.  Rest in peace, dear lady.

AU: Set after ep 513. Brian is having one of those fed up days we all get, an unlikely person may help.

Thank you to  tiger062 for my banner and all the help you gave me.

Justin has become the meat everybody wants to eat and Brian's not happy about it... but he doesn't do jealous and he doesn't do boyfriends. Or does he?

Jealous, possessive and protective Brian

Brian, Justin, and their family returned to Pittsburgh and, after getting the house and businesses in order they boarded a plane, along with Rachel and Sonya, to spend two months in Ireland.  While Justin spends time on his art, Brian is going to dig into his Irish ancestry. The mythical beauty of the country has drawn everyone in.

Alternative title: The Sin of Quinn and His Twin

Justin is coming up on his fortieth birthday, not that he cares. He’s lived the life of Riley since he was seventeen. But now he’s back home, at the request of his father. What he wants after kicking him out all those years ago he doesn’t know.

After this Christmas things will never be the same.

Criminal Minds/QAF crossover. The BAU are called to Pittsburgh to find someone who is abducting and killing gay men in Pittsburgh. When one of their own is taken, the Pittsburgh gang is devastated. REPOST-My idiot self, somehow trying to fix on problem deleted the whole story. I'm so sorry for your reviews being lost.

I think the title (and banner) says it all... Justin is leaving for New York and this is a short story about how Brian is dealing with it. WARNING: Yes, it is sad, sorry :(

Brian's a "little" possessive of Justin. Just a short one shot.

Brian is drunk and Debbie is trying to knock some sense into him. Really short story.

Just a short story, Justin and Brian have separate bachelor parties. Things go right and very wrong. It's a light read so not very wrong.

Summary: That which does not kill us..

Timeline: Post 513. All canon assumed. Spoilers for all seasons.

Warnings: Strong language. Explicit sexual content depending on the chapter.

Author's Note: This is a work in progress. I am a slow writer - there's no getting around that - but I promise that it will be completed. Comments feed the muse. Just sayin'.

4/8/22  So. That author's note was written a long, long time ago. I wrote it with the best of intentions, I swear. But life happened, and for reasons I won't go into here, I couldn't bring myself to continue writing a story with this subject matter. But that little folder has lived on my desktop for all this time, and I have never forgotten where I left our boys. And so, one day a month or so ago, I opened it up and spent some time reminding myself just how much I love Brian and Justin and Queer As Folk. I still have reservations writing about cancer for 'entertainment'. I am no medical professional, nor have I personally experienced anything like what Brian is going to go through. But I've done more research for this than anything else I've ever done, and I've tried to treat it with the sensitivity and respect it deserves. Please forgive any inaccuracies.

I don't even know if anyone will give it a chance again, but I owe to those of you who trusted me and read it all those years ago (and to the boys) to keep my word and try to finish this beast. I hope you'll join me.

Gus is not done with his questions. This time, it's Justin's turn to answer them.

The second part for Answering The Big Question. Hopefully you enjoy reading this as well!

Justin is traveling with Ethan Gold on a European tour.  When they arrived in Amsterdam, they realized the car they were supposed to have for the week had not been set up.  With the help of the hotel, he hires a young American to drive them around the city.  True love will always win.

Brian and Justin know they are lucky.

Brian and Justin have moved the family to Atlanta for the summer.  Justin planned to focus on his art students and his own work. J.Jay, his assistant, would be helping him at the gallery and with the other young artists that would come and go throughout the summer.

Brian had a couple leads for new clients he planned on working on this summer but his main plan was to spend as much time with his kids as he could.  He especially wanted to spend time with Gus.  Since Lindsay had come back to the states, Brian felt like he was missing out on so much more and Gus was growing up so fast. Henry had come along to take care of the kids. A housekeeper had been hired to do some of the cooking and to clean while they were there.  It was the perfect home away from home for the Tyler-Kinney clan.

Kevin had started the center years earlier and now had bigger plans for Legacy Atlanta.  Tom Butterfield had been running the place since Kevin had moved to Pittsburgh. His wife, Natalia, had been working with Brandy and Sally, Kevin’s adopted daughters and he couldn’t wait to meet his newest granddaughter, Kelin Cae, who had been named after him.  They planned to open a new, expanded Center that would be able to help more struggling, young adults.

Another benefit to the trip was to get away from Craig Taylor.  If it was the last thing they did, they were keeping full custody of Aaron. Craig may have donated sperm, but that was his only contribution.  He was still on parole so he wasn’t allowed to leave the state….or could he.

Post-513 Story AU. Justin is given the responsibility of house hunting for him and Brian.  How hard can that be?  Humorous One-Shot Inspired from the "Midnight Whispers Plot Bunnies and Story Prompts" FB Group.

Justin has been living in New York for almost 5 years.  This is the story of what happened during that time and how the boys find their way back to each other.

***New Chapter is A/N only***

Brian and Justin don't meet on Liberty Avenue. But a murder trial starts an odd domino effect.

7-year-old Gus has a question for his Daddy.

Brian and Justin meet in a different way. -  AU

"Nothing compares, no worries or cares Regrets and mistakes, they're memories made Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?" —— 《someone like you》Adele

This short story just came up in my head after reading a post on Reddit. Sorry there is a major character death, it's natural cause but sad.

Thank you for reading.

Briand and Justin argue. Angst with happy ending.

Brian and Justin are called to the principal's office because of Gus.

Gus gets sick on his weekend with Brian and Justin.

Justin's been shopping online lately.

Brian and Justin are on vacation in Italy. and Justin made a promise to Brian.

This is the third and last part for Wrong Taylor... I just needed to write this, hope you have fun reading it!

Brian Kinney and Justin Tayler had been married two years. They live in Britan with six year old Gus, 18 month old Aaron, and six month old Jessi. Extended  friends and family lived with them, helping with the children and the compound.  Gus’ mother had just returned to the states and was rebuilding her relationships after a year's absence.

Their friends, James and Emmett, lived in another house  on the property. James was in charge of security and managed the property. James’ mother, Ronni and her husband, Dante, lived on the third house on their property and Ronni managed the house staff but in the next six weeks she would be giving birth to her first grandchild for James and Emmett.  She hadn’t realized how much harder it would be to have a child at her age but it would be worth it when she held her son’s baby in her arms.

Brian’s father, Kevin, would be moving out very soon.  He was moving into Brian’s childhood home. He also was going to open a new shelter. With Brian’s help Kevin, along with friends were opening Legacy Center.  It would be an escape for teens that had been thrown out or mistreated because of their sexuality.  Kevin had run a similar place in Atlanta but he left that in the care of friends.  Tom and Natalia, as well as his ‘adopted’ daughters, Brandy and Sally, would do a good job keeping the place running smoothly.  Brandy and Sally were also about to be parents so the family was growing.

Life at Britan was full of life and love.  And although they may face the ups and downs of life, together this tribe can make it through anything.

There were some requests for sequel for Wrong Taylor ... so here it is ... I hope it's at least half as funny as the first one.

Justin gets a cold - can Brian escape?

Not my usual type of story-   a little PWP

Brian clicked on the wrong Taylor.

This is totally away from cannon. Everyone is different...really. I hope you guys like it. It's something new and that got into my head and wouldn't leave me alone until I put it down. There will be more. Let me know what you guys think...always love that.

What will he think when he finds out the gorgeous man he just met is trying to pretend that he is that uncle?

Brian and Justin were childhood best friends. When tragedy strikes, Brian shuts himself off. That is until years later he meets another blond who bears a striking resemblance to his childhood friend who died a long time ago. A death that Brian feels extreme guilt over.

Justin and Daphne are working as servers for the summer before their senior year of college.  One night Justin is given a table of business men to serve. He never expected to get the best Tip of his life.

Alternative ending to Season 5

From a plot bunny I saw years ago

Brian and Justin got married in the ceremony they had planned. They loved their rings. There had been many times as Justin worked on an art piece he felt Brian’s heartbeat as he worked at his desk. Many times they felt their heart beats sync and they both would feel the connection. They still went out to Babylon and on certain nights agreed to party with others but only if they were together and only if both of them agreed.  Most times they talked about a night like that they still went home together. There was a little flirting and a kiss or two but neither of them had broken the rules they had set for their marriage. Being able to feel the beat in the band made them feel more connected than ever.

Justin gets a new teacher his senior year. Things take a dark turn when he starts a relationship with the man.

Synopsis: After Rage party. Ethan never happened. It seems to be the theme with my stories so just run with it. Justin walked away when he saw Brian with Rage.

The title of this story is based on my all-time favorite song from QAF It’s called Underworld by Sola Sistim.

Review, and remember to be kind!

Our fourth and final (I think) in the Man I Hate? the series has begun.  Brian and Justin along with their boys, Aiden and Gus, along with Ted and Victor with their new ward, JR are heading home from the cabin. The boys will be heading back to school in a couple days.  Ted and Victor are going to build their own cabin near Brian and Justin's and they are thrilled to be able to help with JR.  They had always wanted a family and now they had one.

Justin's ex is threatening to take Aiden away and while Brian and Justin fear they may lose one of their sons, Ted and Victor may be adding one.

(Child abuse will be mentioned in a past memory at the beginning of this story.)

This story is set in the fictional world of Gilead (from the Handmaid's Tale). Don't worry if you don't know anything about that world, I will explain before the first chapter.

Five years after Justin has fled Gilead he receives an unexpected call that will change his life forever. test

In this story Justin is with Ethan (I know, don't kill me! I promise it won't be like that forever and I promise that Ethan is not the bad guy here!). They didn't meet in season 2, in this story they only met after Justin had fled Gilead.

This story is finished and will be updated once a week!

A post 5x13 fic.  Blake has been living with Ted quite happily for just over a year.  On a special night, everything is going exceedingly well - until a knock at the door changes everything.

AU / Post-513 Justin and Brian meet one another flying back and forth from Pittsburgh to New York.  Otherwise, canon.

Brian made it to the end of the Liberty Ride.  He had ridden all day with a broken clavicle.  When Justin saw him come around the corner his first instinct was to run to him but he had come this far and Brian NEEDED to finish, not for anyone but himself. After trying to talk Brian into getting checked out at the hospital, Justin took him to the loft and stayed with him for the night.

Atlanta prepare!  Brian Kinney and Justin Taylor will be bringing their boys to see their grandfather.  They will be making a splash in Atlanta’s high society.  Justin’s artwork will take off making a lot of money for Kevin’s shelter.  Brian will meet the ‘girls’ Kevin considers family, and they will bond as a family.

While the Kinney-Tayler-Cain family become a strong unit, Britin will be well taken care of with the family that stayed up there.  Dante and Ronni will be building their house while Em and James debate how they should create a family that includes children.

And what will happen with Nate and Tom when Nate begins to live her life as Natalia.  Will they go their own way or will Tom’s love for Natalia win out over his love for the church.

I sigh and tip my chair back so I can rest my back against the wall, mostly because I want to fidget. Because I’m sitting alone in an exam room in the NewYork-Presbyterian emergency room, waiting for someone to wheel Gus back in -- and for someone to tell me what the fuck’s going on.

Gus is admitted to the hospital. Brian and Justin clash over the best ways to be there for him.

It's my story and I'm writing whatever I want. Unsuccessful and poor Justin dies in New York few months after leaving. Brian can't stand it and he commits suicide. But...he doesn't die. Brian Kinney gets a second chance. He wakes up in the past so he can fix all the mistakes he made in the previous life. Brian is determined. In this life he wants only one thing. Happiness for him and Justin. Together. Because now...he believes in love.

I was looking through one of my flash drives labled WIP and found this that was written around 2013.  Hope you enjoy it.

Brian is betrayed by Michael, so he heads off to New York.

Mel is Married to Ted and Michael is Married to Lindsey. Lindsey and Michael are both homophobic.

Brian has a crush on the new bartender at Babylon.

Eighteen year old Justin Taylor had just started his new job and now he was going out to delivery a pizza to the middle of nowhere.  This was the first night of the rest of his life!

This story is the result of my entry in the July fanfic contest on TQL.  Brian wants to give his son a special gift for his fifth birthday so he chooses an up-and-coming artist named Justin Taylor to paint a portrait of Gus.  He gets more than he bargained for when he meets the budding young artist.  Many thanks to Pat for her beta skills and the fabulous Eka for the perfect banner.  I love you girls so much.

It has been five years since Brian and Justin had reunited at their Montana cabin.  Little Aiden is just completing kindergarten.  Although he would always have his health issues, they were well controlled as long as he stayed on his medication.  Gus was the son they are worried about.  He is 15 and completing his sophomore year.  He had gotten in with the wrong crowd.  He’d been living with his moms more and more who were too wrapped up in their own problems that they lost track of what Gus was up to.

Now it is up to Brian and Justin to try and get their kind and caring son back before it is too late.

SEQUEL TO INTERSECT: After a horrific tragedy, Brian and his family must mourn and adjust to their new reality.

Brian has had a bad day at work and plans on unwinding by going to Woody’s and Babylon with his friends and his Sunshine, only to have his plans dashed when he comes home to find quite the surprise.

Brian comes back early from a business trip in NYC with a present for Justin. This is pure fluff, friends.

Sequel to “It’s Good to Have Friends in High Places.” Please read that one before this one. This is the next morning at the diner.

It's a normal night at Babylon when Justin sees Ted trying to pick up a trick. Justin decides to help.

Justin regrets leaving Brian the moment he turned his back. He had this wild notion that Brian would come after him. He deluded himself into thinking that Ethan loved him. All Justin wanted was to feel loved. But shortly after he moved in with Ethan, he started changing. He knew it was happening, but he couldn't get himself out of it. He fell down a rabbit hole of depression, fear and humiliation. How does he get away from Ethan?

A day after the rehearsal dinner Brian and Justin are not sure whether they did the right thing by calling off the wedding.

Justin moves into the red brick house with his boyfriend Ethan and the guy who lives upstairs is not just an asshole but also really weird.

A night out at Babylon. Brian is being very Brian, hooking up with numerous other men and Justin’s being very Justin, endlessly chasing after him.

A season 1 story.

In Season 1 episode 10 Brian and the gang drive to NYC to retrieve Justin. While they are on the road  Brian recalls the summer he ran away to live in New York and formed a special bond with an ex-resident of Pittsburg.

************************************************

Five years ago today, I jumped on the Midnight Whispers bandwagon. To commemorate that auspicious event, I decided to submit a short story that I wrote some notes for nearly four years ago. This story is not a WIP and I will upload weekly. Enjoy

Kim...Predec2...thanks a bunch for the awesome banner you created just for me!

We are returning to the Universe of a Father’s Hate.  Everyone had been told Justin had died from the bashing and Craig had hid him away for two years. Brian and Molly, working together, found and rescued him. Justin and Brian are now married and living in Britin with Gus and Aaron. Aaron is their adopted son who is actually Justin’s half brother.  Along with the help of Ronni, and her son James, along with Emmet, they have built a busy but rewarding household. But then Justin gets a phone call that will upend the peaceful home they have built.

Sequel to "Can I Come Back Home to You?"  The epilogue left you guys with a lot of questions. Who's dead? Who killed someone? What's this big emergency? Well, you'll get all those answers. But first, we left Brian and Justin as they were going on their honeymoon. Enjoy, everyone!

Justin needs a new car.  Fluff and Fun

“Can you really think of a reason that Peter would suddenly turn on how he feels about you?” Justin asked, trying to begin the conversation pragmatically. “He knows how your sister is, and she knows, at least to some extent, that the two of you are acquainted now. Don’t you think she’d have tried every weapon she had if she was running a smear campaign against you?”

“I don’t know,” Brian said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. “I wouldn’t put anything past her.”

--

When Brian's nephew Peter and his girlfriend Alexis come to spend Christmas in New York, things are off to a great start -- until they're not. Soon, it becomes apparent to everyone that old Kinney family scars run deep.

It's a new year folks and this is the first of many stories that I've written in the past year and are going to post so I hope you enjoy this.  It's complete and I can't tell everything cause it'll spoil it.

I guess the fitting summary is JR and Gus bond with Justin over music.  I wrote this for a friend who was feeling low and the great Kim ediited for me.

Justin is feeling down. Brian wants to help.

When Justin and Ethan end up unexpectedly working the same event at a New York City art gallery nearly two decades after their break-up, Brian insists he can handle it. But sometimes, the past can be a cruel mistress...

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Justin felt like being stuck at home alone with Brian had been a blissful blessing in disguise.

Several months into it? Not so much.

Wanting to change certain aspects of QAF led me to write this.  Maybe THIS TIME things go better.  Hope you enjoy these changes.  I plan to post every Sunday.

Brian and Justin's marriage was short-lived.  After three years of being a couple and one year of marriage, Justin left and ended up in Seattle.  Now, three years later when Justin arrives two days early they end up up sharing it for a couple days.  Can they work out their differences or will they both find the resolution they needed to live their own lives?

Justin wakes up in a hospital after suffering a head injury.

THIS STORY IS NOW COMPLETE

No one:
Absolutely no one:
Absolutely no one who has ever lived:Me:
What if I rewrite the entire series but give Justin cystic fibrosis?

Brian and Justin have come to the agreement that they are not boyfriends but Justin is the man he wants to wake up with more than once.   When Daphne asks Justin to join her in NYC investigating the apartment James Dean lived in, he joined her. There were rumors the place was haunted and they were getting a chance to work with a team that had a TV show.

Brian thinks it is silly and tries to get Justin to stay and isn’t happy when Justin chooses time with Daphne over a weekend with him and two other guys he lined up.

I hope you enjoy this short story that moves from Pittsburgh to NYC and back again in a handful of chapters.

As the title says: This is it! The Wedding :)

This one will be a lot shorter than the previous fics in this universe and there will be a lot less angst. As the title says, this is about their wedding and I think we can all agree that they deserve a happy, angst-free wedding, right?!?

Justin's 10-Year High School Reunion
