It's a week before Christmas; Brian went down to New York City to pick-up Justin for the holiday and while they were done there, Justin decided to do some shopping. But Brian wasn't happy...what can Justin do to convince Brian that Christmas shopping is not that bad after all?

On the first day of school for his senior year of High School Gus falls head over heels in love.  This story deals with how he and his family members deal with this occurance.

Summary: Brian tries really hard to accept that Justin needs to be away from him, to be the great artist he's meant to be. But sometimes love is not enough. Will he keep thinking that he knows what's best for Justin? Will he fight for their future together? Or he'll just give up, staying incomplete forever?

This is a slightly AU fiction that has some elements of canon, but as Brian and Justin have never met, things are different. There are elements of OOC for all characters at times as I had to decide what I thought the characters responses to situations would be. Brian is 34 and lives in Pittsburgh and Justin is 21 and lives in NY. They meet after Lindsay and Melanie go to NY and see Justin's art and suggest that Brian checks it out next time he is in NY.
