Love this story and would have happily read many more chapters as Brian and Justin began their lives together. This definitely joins my favorites.

I love this story, however, I feel it would be better if you included how Melanie reacted to Brian being back and also, how Joan and Brian fixed their relationship. It feels like that information is missing.

I like this story. You made the loneliness of Brian quite palpable. I like the way you wrote Brian's life and how empty he felt about it. It actually pushed me to read faster coz I cant stand our man feeling despodent. I appreciate that you didn't write this overly dramatic, in fact it's a bit drily done (but not boring, mind you); there is just a bit of nonchallance that nicely fits the personality of Brian.
My only regret in this story is the reunion of Joan and Brian were not elaborated. Her relationship with her son is a major issue all throughout the story. It would have been very interesting to have read the mending of the relationship between mother and son.

I saw this mentioned at the Get It Here site. It was refreshing and an enjoyable read because it was so different from the typical B/J fic. J wasn't down a well or a rent boy and B wasn't a raving ass. How fantastic! Plus, it was well written, as is all your stories
