Post 513) Brian and Justin begin a new chapter in their lives. I'm affectionately calling this the lost episodes of Season 5.
After a motorbike accident, Brian Kinney, a 30-year-old successful ad executive and a motorcycle rider, suffers a near fatal head injury.
Once a rising star of the advertising circuit and a prominent figure in Pittsburgh's gay night, Brian is discharged from the hospital and admitted into a rehabilitation facility. While in rehab Brian meets staff member Justin Taylor, a young therapist who's a neuro-injury survivor himself unbeknownst to Brian. With Justin's guidance, Brian embarks on journey of self discovery that will reveal more than he ever expected to learn.
“Sonny Boy--” Brian began, intentionally ignoring Justin’s question.
“--You had no idea why she sent me down,” Gus interrupted, his words more of a statement.
Brian shook his head. “Your mother neglected to inform me of her intentions.”

Lindsay has ulterior motives when she sends Gus for an unscheduled weekend visit with Brian and Justin.
Written for qaf_giftxchnge 2018 on LJ, although this one is not, per se, a Christmas story.
The request was for:
Fic fluff/schmoop, hurt/comfort, sexy fun times Brian/Justin sexy domestic fluff or a health scare that prompts a relaxing vacation
So here it is. It's set maybe 2 years post 513. Justin returned from New York about 12 months ago, but they sold Britin and have been living at the loft. Justin rents studio space.
WARNING: Very mild (for me, at least) snark about Michael.

Several months after Justin leaves with Ethan, he happens to run into Brian in Chicago and they inevitably fall into bed together. After that, neither can resist and these trysts start to become a regular thing. Everything is going great - they don't have the gang giving them unwanted advice and nobody but them knows what's going on. Until, eventually, Brian gets tired of being the 'other man' and wants more . . . Based on T**'s plot bunny.
This was written for the "37 Days of Gusmas" challenge. This was a fund-raising challenge to raise money for the Ali Forley Center which provides shelter for homeless GLBT kids.
In the Gusmas challenges there are 37 prompts - some words or phrases, some images - covering the days from Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve. The challenge is to write one or more drabbles based on the prompts.
I've cobbled together a story based on drabbles for each of the 37 prompts.
Justin’s new client is an arrogant prick, but he’s rich and has great taste. So who’s he to turn down the huge commission for his interior design?
Brian receives an unexpected gift from a client and he and Justin are not sure what to do with it. Letting it back into the wild doesn’t seem like a good choice.

Justin never got to go camping with Brian during the Liberty Ride. This is what happens when he finally persuades him to experience the joys of living in the wilderness. Chaos ensues!
It appears that Brian does do romance, even if some people don’t want to acknowledge it…
308 Gap Filler. What were Brian's thoughts before the "greatest reunification since Germany?"
An alternate S5. It starts in the same place, and ends more or less in the same place, it even covers a lot of the same plot points, but quite a few things get tweaked along the way into something that seemed to me more true to the characters as I understand them (especially, of course, Brian and Justin).
Someone was supposed to get married but ends up at the back alley of Kinnetik.
Thank you Predec2 for the lovely banner.

Gift Request: Fic. AU, angst maybe?, lots of sexual tension/chemistry. tattoo artist Justin. Brian comes in for a back piece (or whatever)....could even be a giant set of wings ;) Why Brian is getting the tattoo is up to you. [I'd imagine he'd have to be there for multiple sittings]
Other Specifications: some making out/body worship would be nice, but PWP definitely NOT a requirement....what whatever you're comfortable with. Could speak to the ink on Justin's body as well.

Brian opens up a new ad agency in California and develops a new hobby in his off hours. Little did he realize that he would discover another passion.
SUMMER FAN FICTION CHALLENGE
The first episode of season 3 was unbelievably off the mark for me - and for so many reasons.
First, Justin made the biggest mistake of his life by choosing Ethan over Brian, showing just how far he had strayed from the ability he once had to read the man who had thrown away his rule book, and was scrambling to write a new one as he went along.
Worse still, in my book however, is that while Brian had plenty to answer for to Justin regarding his behavior, it was his family that once again blamed Brian for all the wrongs in the world, never once considering the fact that hitting Michael was so far out of character for Brian that something really huge must have triggered it.
Once again the golden child could do no wrong, only Brian knowing how far out of line his so-called best friend's comments about Justin had been, and everyone quickly rallied around Michael with love and support, while directing nothing but anger and disgust at the one man who had always been there to pick up all the pieces in their lives.
Ok...so now that I got that off my chest...

Post Episode 513. It had been years since prom… Justin finally remembers.
Fictional romance has consequences.
Happy Halloween, everyone! It is time for me to offer your annual 'treat' for the holiday. This year I decided to give you another adult 'fairy' tale. This is my version of the 'Little Red Riding Hood' story. I hope you will enjoy it. I promise there are no mean 'tricks' waiting for you.
I want to thank Lori, for her invaluable help. She was a great sounding board. Huge thank you's also go out to the wonderful Judy for her terrific beta skills and my darling, Amy for the banner. I am a lucky lady.
He's inside me now, and I know that this will forever be a part of me - of us.
Takes place just before the Liberty Ride arc in season 4.
It's a wee bit of a pwp with zero angst, a lot of sex and a bit of kink thrown in for good measure. It was written as a gift for a friend who supplied me with the plot bunnies.
Disclaimer: These characters are property of Cowlip, I did not create them, nor have I profited from them in any way.
Justin is living his life in New York and has a roommate he adores named Janice. How do Justin and Janice relieve their sexual tension? How does their relationship affect Brian’s long distance relationship with Justin? There are some sexy scenes and one f/m/m scene, so be warned.
A series of missing moments that focus on Justin's bashing, beginning with post 1.22 and into mid season two.
Notes: To my husband Jim who is my everything. Elsa Rose who's friendship inspired me to try writing
My first attempt at writing and perhaps my last. Enjoy!
The time has finally come for Brian and Justin's wedding, but secrets and a maniac killer might be enough to ruin it. 9th stoy in the Rainbow Inn Universe. Slash: B/J, G/D, B/Z, H/Ch.
Gus wants a dog, Brian wants horses, Gabe wants presents, and Justin simply wants them all to be happy.
Brian and Justin have moved on without Michael in their lives. What happens when Michael turns destructive? This is the sequel to Betrayal and Ambush.
Spring is in the air and everyone wants to re-invent themselves. Watch as Brian and Justin continue their journey.
This story started off as a ‘what if’ ... what if Brian hadn’t met Justin until sometime in Season Three? Which things would be different and which would be the same ... or brought about in a different way? How would Brian be different? Would he be better, or would he be worse? Would he still react to Justin in the same way if they were both a couple of years older?
Anyway, that was how it started; but then I had to supply a background for Justin that was canon to begin with, but ended up being quite different ... and then the whole thing turned into a kind of thriller. Well, I hope it did.
So I guess this is part what-if, part AU, part thriller ... but most of all, of course, a love story.
NOW COMPLETE! YAY!
I hope you enjoy it.
I guess this would take place towards the end of Recovery. Brian has had his surgery and can't remember Justin. He explains to Justin why he doesn't want him to leave him. It might be a bit mushy but in Recovery we all knew the love was there. Hope you like it.
It started in the year of 2011, Pitssburgh. Our favorite character, Justin Taylor is a normal average highschooler, living his life like any other days. And suddenly... strange things start to happened. One thing he knows, he has to stay out of WATER! (I cant put any more than this because it contains spoilers)
This one will be long and will pull at the heartstrings. There has been a terrible accident. It will affect Brain and Justin and their relationship. It takes place in what could be the future and i hope you guys like it.
I know that i'm adding yet another story but i'm currently updating my old ones so i hope you guys don't mind.
Due to recent decline of my story at first I said I would not put this up for future readers but I miss the readers I lost so i thought I would THIS IS NOT A RAPE fic. Somthing in the most recent chapter made it seem that way but if you read on you will see that it is not. I treasure all my readers and value comments good or bad but for people to think wrong me I dont like. I invite you back to my story i promise you will be glad you gave it another chance
What if Craig had reported Brian to the police in 107.
A traumatic event changes Brian's and Justin's lives. Can they find a way to be reunited before it's too late?
Summary: Brian attends an advertising conference, but gets distracted…
You are Brian, and you've just come home to someone who's also come home...
The other day I was watching an ad for a new animated film called 'Tangled'. It was another version of the very old fairy tale, Rapunzel. For some inexplicable reason I had this sudden vision of Justin locked in a tower and his own Prince Charming (Brian) coming to his rescue. I couldn't get the image out of my head so, my friends, I simply had to write my own 'fairy' tale for our beloved boys. I sincerely hope you will enjoy it. I must thank my beloved Judy for her skilled beta work.
Sometimes a little reminder is needed...
Just a small drabble putting Mel in her place ;)
I wrote this some time ago and I have no idea why I never posted it here.
Justin loses his memory of the last year after the bashing. What will Brian do?

Brian and Emmett reminisce about the good 'ole days. Made for quin222 for the scrooged Secret Santa LiveJournal community.
Sam and Dean Winchester (from Supernatural) have some work to do on Liberty Avenue. After hunting so many evil things they thought they’re prepared for everything. But what do they do in a place where hunting means a completely different thing? And what happens when they meet the biggest hunter on Liberty Avenue?
This is a sequel to Before There Was You, There Was You. We left our boys in the last story together, happy with seven, yes SEVEN, children! (Peter and Johnny, his late sisters’ Claire’s children whom he and Justin adopted. Jagger and Lizzy, Brian’s orphaned cousins who they also adopted. Gus of course, and the twins, Maria and Andy that he and Justin fathered through a surrogate.) This story picks up five years from the end of BTWYTWY. Our boys are about to have an unexpected adventure. When life throws them a curveball will they be able to bounce back? Or will it take Divine intervention to bring our boys back together. There are many supporting characters from BTWYTWY that will be making appearances in this story. And some new one’s I’ll be introducing. I hope you all enjoy!
Brian decides to make a list about Justin...
Living in the UK, we've only had S1 here, so I've had to keep up by buying the DVD's and reading as much as I can! Well, S3 arrived yesterday! I managed to watch the first two episodes last night and cried throughout 301 and a good part of 302! And seeing how Brian (looking more beautiful than ever, if that's possible) is so lost without Justin, still refusing to admit how he feels and yet his every action screams otherwise. The same actions that should have told Justin how much Brian loved him, even if he couldn't say those pretty words. Everyone's bad-mouthing him, but woe-betide anyone bad-mouthing Justin! Even leading to Brian hitting his best friend; the first time they've ever fought. And the end of 302; seeing Brian dancing by himself in the middle of the crowded dance floor, lost in the music, or whatever chemical substance he's taken in order to get through, is heartbreaking. Subsequently, I got up at 00.45am this morning in order to put this down on paper. It's not very long (not as long as this preamble!), but I hope you like it.
Feedback welcome ~ Julia
“Life is like a movie, if you've sat through more than half of it and its sucked every second so far, it probably isn't gonna get great right at the end and make it all worthwhile. None should blame you for walking out early.”
Warnings: Major Character Death, Suicide, Un-beat’ed
AU: In this sequel to "Come On Brian, Dance With Me?", Brian seems to be gradually adjusting to his new sexual orientation when suddenly his relationship with Justin is thrown a 'curve ball'. Can the lovers overcome all obstacles and stay together?
Author's note: If you were previously reading this sequel when it was posted at the other site, I recommend you start reading from the beginning again; it has been significantly changed. If you don't start from the beginning you may be totally lost.

I was inspired by an old song of a favorite group of mine from the past named Peaches and Herb. The words of this song made me think of how our boys would feel after being separated for a whole month....Justin in New York and Brian in the Pitts. Hope you enjoy their thoughts as they work it all out. I owe a debt of gratitude to Eka for the banner and Pat for her beta skills. Thank you so much girls.
Regret was something he swore he'd never feel... but so was love...
