A picture thought long gone by Justin, finds out that Brian has it in his posession. I wrote this when I saw the pic of Randy Harrison standing in front of the red board that he painted in the play "Red".
Brian helps out at the diner... and the consequences.
Content: AU, fluffy-ish, a tad OC, a smidge of angst, BDSM references, and schmutt alert.
Special Notes: Many thanks to my beta,
randy4me, for her keen eye, insightfulness, and admirable patience.
Enclosed in chapter 3: Video found in which Gale is playing a bad waiter. It was posted on 7/16/13!!!!! (Thanks to Predec2 for finding this!!!!)

I didn't know where to put this but I just wanted everyone out there to know that my sister and I just published our first novel and it's now available at Amazon. Click story for details.
In this A/U, Brian is filthy rich and he believes people are only interested in him for his money... even Justin???!
Life is not always what it seems and people are never what they appear to be.
An AU hybrid S1/S3-ish romance. Brian & Justin. Of course.

Whose P.O.V.
Justin heads for New York, leaving Brian alone until a terrible accident changes both their lives...Takes place post Ep. 513 after Justin has left the loft and before Michael convinces Brian to rebuild Babylon.

Thanks Kim for all the generosity you have given me.
This story is dedicated to you!
This is my version of how I would have liked to have seen the final episode end, and how I believe many other fans would have as well.
Thanks to Predec2 for the translation work and for the very special banner.
P.S: Happy birthday, Gale Harold!
Brian cannot believe it.
Please bear with me - I am not a native English speaker.
I want to thank Predec2 for her beautiful translation and for all her help.
What if Brian and Justin had met before Episode 101?
This fic is an assumption that Brian and Justin's relationship began well before that first episode of the series.
Thanks to Predec2 for the translation work and for the very special banner.
Justin has always been Brian's Sunshine. Gus finds one of his own.
Greek Mythology-based AU. Justin does not only have internal purity, but external purity as well, throwing Brytos off completely. And this mystery and confusion, leads him to desire Justin's light. Hence, the nickname "Sunshine".
Jennifer Taylor confronts Joan Kinney.

Justin and Daphne are on the brink of becoming parents when Brian enters the picture. An angst-free little AU, comprised of equal parts canon and non-canon. How many twists can you spot, accounting for the title?

Michael just has to know.
This photo of Gale and Randy, taken at the Queer As Folk Convention on June the 9th 2013, inspired me to write this story. Pic by my dear friend Kim

Thank you so much dear Judy for making my story more readable
I am very willing to beta and help create any type or kind of story :) I am excellent at editing and am also very creative and an awesome writer. I enjoy reading all things QAF so I'm just willing to help further and better the authors original idea. My only demand is that I am put as co-author or at least acknowledged :) I also have lots of free time and get excited about new stories so I'm always available to help. So if you would like to have me as your beta just message me or contact me at snlamb1717@yahoo.com dont be shy!
Post 513 - Justin lives in New York with his son Bryson. Brian still lives in Pittsburgh and is extremely close to Gus. Brian and Justin haven't spoken to one another since Justin left with Ethan 18 years ago. Although time changes many things in life, there are some things that time can never change. When fate conspires to bring them together again, will history be rewritten? Or will history simply repeat itself? Ready or not, whatever may happen, the time has come.
OK, this story seems to just keep going....So I decided on another overhaul and split it off into it's own story. Loosely based on Jack and the Beanstalk a nd starts off immediately where Beauty and Beast ends. The further adventures of Brian, Justin, Arjax, Beddy etc.
Also I want to resolve a lot of issues left over from Beauty and the Beast. Craig's Death. Jennifer...Ethan. Gus. Molly...etc...
Join me on another bizarre journey, won't you!?
Isn't the banner spectacular!!!? THANX Kim!!!
STORY NOW COMPLETE!!! TBC WITH THE RED HOODY
What would happen if Brian thought his life was about to change for the worse? He knew he would have to change that life.
This is based on a movie by the same name. It stared Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Check out the movie. It's great.
Brian meets a possible new client.
I love to let my imagination run wild for all those times we could only guess what was happening to Agron and Nasir when they weren't in a scene. So I've taken two episodes...#7 (Sacrementum) & #8 (Balance)...from Season 2: 'Vengeance' and filled in some blanks, at least the way I saw them in my mind. I hope you will enjoy them.
Many thanks to my beta, Judy for her wonderful help.
This is just a little poem I wrote inspired by the relationship between Ted and Blake :)
Patrick Jane gets ready for a big party at the CBI and memories of the past seem to be around every corner. Better than it sounds.

Brian and Justin enjoy a secret side to their relationship….
We all remember the scene episode 201, when Jennifer demanded Brian to go away from Justin, and the one in 202, when the blond went to Brian’s place and Brian slammed the door in his face. Well what if Justin's reaction would have been different? What if instead of getting mad, forcing his mother to ask Brian to take him back, he’d had fallen into a deep depression? Everything would have been different.
This is an AU from that scene episode 202. Justin's life followed a very different path that kept him away from Liberty Avenue. Now, 17 years later, Justin is back in Pittsburg Would it be any chance for he and Brian to regain what they once had? Would they want to? Anyway, this time, they will have unexpected allies.
Agron has developed a firm friendship with Nasir, but it is only when he is parted from the young Syrian (and there is the very strong chance the young man could be killed) that he begins to realize there is more to their relationship than that. How his newfound feelings affect them both, and how it changes things between them, is revealed in thought and deed.
Unbeta'd for now, but will be corrected as soon as my beta is free. So please forgive any errors. Thank you, and enjoy!
When they released the video with the deleted scene between Nasir and Castus that occurred when he tried to comfort Nasir over the loss of Agron, I was inspired to write this story. It is a 3 part gap filler of that period of time right after Agron leaves, up until he returns. I hope you will enjoy my interpretation of Agron and Nasir's feelings during this period.
This is posted without beta temporarily while my beta is completing work on a professional novel. I promise to make necessary corrections as soon as I hear from her. Thank you for your patience with any mistakes I may make.
Just got the beta'd copy back so the corrections are made. Many thanks to my dear friend, Judy, for all her help.

DISCLAIMERS:
Everything’s Cowlip’s, I own nothing and no-one. I gain nothing, not a cent from this, except, maybe, a smile from sungaizing85.
NC18 for sex & drugs. No violence.
Inspired by a true story. More on that after you read the whole thing.
Mid or post season 3, during the summer (Cowlip timing is too hard for me to decipher. It’s the summer. That’s really all that matters).
Brian needs Mel’s help, but what will it cost him?

This is for the "Spring Is In the Air" Challenge...and believe me, writing an angst-free story was challenging for me! But I enjoyed it, and I hope you will too :)
****
This story takes place in the "For the love of Kai" realm. You don't need to be familair with the story other than the fact that Kai is Justin's younger half brother with autism that Justin adopts and raises with Brian.
special thanks to the amazing predec2 for the beautiful banner!!!
A bit of humor for May Day:
Justin suggests a trip to Scotland for the fashion, cuisine and phallus-worshipping cults.
Agron and Nasir have had a loving, trusting relationship from the moment they got together, but the honeymoon period is quickly coming to an end with the arrival of a good looking pirate named Castus. Castus has taken a shine to Nasir and isn't afraid to show it, much to the irritation of a certain German rebel. When Nasir sees how upset Agron is with Castus's presence, he promises to avoid the pirate in future. When Agron sees them together, he gets the wrong idea and, like an out-of-control battle, all hell breaks loose. What happens when Agron uses the wrong word on Nasir to show his displeasure could tear them apart. What happens next is up to Agron now.
Many thanks again to my dear friend, Judy for her beta help. I also want to dedicate this story to my fellow MW reader, Boriqua522. I was given the idea for this story by them and I am deeply grateful.
Justin's depressed, but he finds help from a very unlikely source...
If you are a Spartacus fan you have no doubt noticed the unique necklace that Nasir wears throughout the final Season of the Series. A little research into ancient Roman history was the inspiration for my version of how and why Nasir ended up with this interesting item around his neck. Agron once again reveals his softer side whenever it involves Nasir. And for those who are not fans (yet) here's a glimpse of Nasir's necklace. And once again I owe a debt of gratitude to my wonderful beta, Judy.
Someone is watching Justin, and feeling regret. Set in Season 3
Just a little story that popped into my head. Hope you like it :)
Agron and Nasir have survived the final battle that quelled the slave rebellion. Decades have passed and on the Anniversary of their final freedom, the couple reflect back on memories of all the scars they endured to reach the point in their lives that they are at now.
Two detectives must question their two only coherent witnesses in order to find out what transpired that night at the Baths to cause the riot. Season 2. Written for the dare challenge on lj a while back.

If you're wondering why the title... yes, it was inspired by "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed. I've been thinking of making this song into a story for years... and it finally came to me today.
I sincerely wanted to get this done earlier, because my original purpose of writing this was to wish Predec2 a Happy Birthday! That's right, KP ;) I wrote a story for your birthday, cause I had to do more than just send a simple Happy Birthday wish.
I was trying for sweet, fluffy and happy, and while I managed the sweet and happy, the song that inspired the story just led to a bit of angst. I made sure there was still smut and lemons though... what's a Brian/Justin story without that? Not to mention, it's one of my stories.
Happy Birthday Kim! This story's for you!
Cheers, Laura :) xoxo
Banner is by the amazing foreverbm on LJ!
Summary: AU. Brian Kinney did a lot of stupid things when either drunk, high or both. Those things usually and somewhat surprisingly ended up changing his life in some irrevocable way and affecting it for years afterword. But he never thought that taking Japanese as his required foreign language in college on a drunken dare from his equally drunk/high college roommate would have such far-reaching consequences and would eventually, over a decade later, completely change his life.
Justin's thoughts, journal style, spanning the gap between episodes 3.07 and 3.08. What led up to the "most historic reunification since Germany"?

I don't own these characters, and the only reward I receive from my stories is the joy of sharing the 'depth of love' that for me always has and always will exist between these two.
Brian had been restless. For the first time in his life he found that he was growing tired of the same old routine. He wondered, with the change of seasons, if something - or someone - new might be possible in his life as well. Still, he knew it was unlikely that the type of man who could make the difference that had been on his mind was actually out there - and he was quite certain that if he was, it was more than a little improbable that such a man would just simply drop into his life...
I would like to extend a very special thanks to Predec2 for an awesome Easter gift - my very first banner. It is beautiful and couldn't fit the story better. I am so excited and grateful. Thank you Kim for your consistent support and encouragement. You're the best!
SUBMITTED FOR THE SPRING IS IN THE AIR CHALLENGE
Gus comes to visit the boys for spring break; havoc ensues.
Featured Story for April 2019!!
Written for the 'Spring is in the Air' challenge.
A post S5 one-shot. Brian Kinney is not a 'flowers' type of guy. He doesn't give them, ever, and no one has ever had the audacity to give them to him. At least, until that morning in April when he walks into work to find a hideous little flower arrangement on his desk. Naturally, he makes it quite clear that Cynthia is to shoot anyone bearing flowers on sight should they endeavor to accost him again...
Another QAF warped up fairy tale!
SKIDOOOSSH!! A SUPER LATE ENTRY FOR THE SPRING IS IN THE AIR DEALIO!
Inspiration hit late but it hit hard! Been rattling this out since the end of March. Medieval setting and golden nuts and kung fu set the tone for this newest fantasy from my warped brain.
Please excuse the dark tone in the first chapter but there's a neccesary plot device in there. Not to worry, it brightens and Springtime's up faster and just as inappropriately as the now infamous time change in Disney's Bambi.
Thanks to Kim for the banner and for Jack and the B's too!

Featured story for March 2013
After 513 Brian and Justin keep things going long distance for almost a year. Then one fateful night, at a family gathering at Deb's, a comment made by someone in the family throws everyone and everything into a tailspin. After a horrible argument the boys split up for good, severing all ties, and the family is forever fractured. Enter various beloved characters from the original show that tell him their sides of the story.
~*~*~*~
They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Jack Kinney never gave it much thought but, at the end of his life, he no longer has the luxury of avoiding that kind of introspection. Now Jack is about to learn that putting your affairs in order is difficult, even with an angelic blond kid to guide him. But some damage is irreparable; some hurts, unforgivable; and some truths, impossible to accept.
Brian and Justin discuss sisters and Justin decides to do something about his.
It's that age old Brian and Justin story only with a few twists and turns, dribbles and nutmegs. Brian is our much loved ad exec and Justin is a 17 year old semi-pro soccer player trying to find his way in a world that doesn't always accept his sexuality.
Life doesn't always run its course like everyone wants it to do. There are times you want to give up, where you want to return to a point, you think you can change everything or do something to change your own course. There are also times you feel truly happy and you think it's the best thing that could have happened, just to recognize it isn't.
After Justin left Pittsburgh, he and Brian broke up. The story begins in 2016. I hope you accompany the boys as well as the other family members on their way.
Mysterious Marilyn is up to her old tricks. Offering advice to the Stud of Liberty Ave can cause the future to change in the blink of an eye when Mysterious Marilyn reads the cards and doesn't see a happy ending for Brian and Justin. But is the future set up in concrete? Not only will things be different for Brian, but just about everyone around him will feel its affects. What happens when after Brian follows the cards written and later the reading changes? Can the future be changed? Should it be changed? Where does Justin fit in? You'd be surprised. Watch as Mysterious Marilyn meddles in peoples lives to correct her mistake.
After achieving success in New York, Justin is called back to Pittburgh to take his place as Prince among the hybrids (part werewolf, part vampire) , however must rule beside his estranged father. What happens when Craig's peace offering is something personal?
Justin moves to the south of France to live after his partner dies in an explosion at a gas station. His paintings are a success and he’s quite successful after a year.
Someone that fits the description of Brian pays the price in full of €2000 for his ‘Love Lost’ piece, and Justin thinks nothing of it. Then Justin gets a phone call asking for a painting of a ‘Naked Guy’, which he paints Brian onto. After the ‘Naked Guy’ painting is passed onto its owner, Justin gets kidnapped – But by who?

Post 5-13. The story chronicles Gus's long-distance relationship with Brian, his struggles with a learning disability, and his coping with a stressful home environment. This story is rated PG-13 because of language and the possible mentioning of drug use and domestic violence in future chapters. First attempt at QAF fanfiction so reviews are very much appreciated.

After centuries wandering around the world, Justin Taylor arrives in Pittsburgh with the intention of staying there for a while. He's young, handsome, wealthy - and immortal. Nothing is what it seems to be with Justin, especially when he takes over Babylon, the same Babylon that is Brian Kinney's personal playground. But who plays with whom when Justin enters Brian's world? Can either one of them win the game when the stakes are bloodcurdling?
Inspired by Frou Frou's 'Psychobabble'. Sometimes the music isn't enough. And memories don't keep you warm at night.

Was it merely serendipity that brought Justin to that lamppost on that fateful night, or was it a preordained event? This is a tale of pain and struggle, and love and hope. Where old characters are merged with new ones and life takes some very interesting turns for the gang and especially for Brian and Justin.

After my cousin died a few years ago I actually had this dream. I believe he visited me, and we spoke for a while.
