And of course Brian's going to happen upon them and assume the worst etc. But I love that Brian's actually acknowledging he's missing Justin and isn't hiding behind his normal mask of indifference.

Okay, we knew this was coming.  It could have been worse - his dad could have caught them together and I do not want to think how that would have turned out.  Molly is adorable, unintentionally ratting out her brother, yet defending him.  Afterall she only told the truth.  Brian is teaching Justin how to surf.  Something tells me that that Harley is going to find its way back and hopefully the sooner the better.

Hello. I'm not sure how this works, but I have been coached on the abc's here. I just am here to review this boss story. You are one gifted writer. I was loaned the whole QAF five year series as I hadn't know about it. I finished it a couple days ago, so now I know what these stories are tied to. I really didn't like some of the plots in the series. They were sad especially Ted's addiction and the way it ended--not happy at all with that. I guess I cried a lot after the almost wedding. I am too much the romantic I guess. Sorry I am so wordy here, but this is fun. I am reading one of your stories now. It's called Tender Loving Care. It is a bitchin story. I have borrow a pc to read as mine is being overhauled. I have had it forever. It got me through school, so that is good. Hopefully more chapters will be up soon. later-by

I'm telling you these last three chapters were quite a happy time for the vocal three. There were 15 listeners this time, everyone was very patient during the read. The last chapter, I call it wooing Brian, was THE ONE for Bet-Z. I thought she was going to cry. All the things he did in the wooing process she loved. She wanted me to read the last chapter again. I guess you have another avid reader. I gave her a list of stories I thought she might like. As soon as her laptop gets a new hard drive,(it crashed) she will be reading. I am amazed how many people don't know about this web site or about QAF. Lee and BB said to say hey! They are taking a nap and i am going on strictly adrenalin. How are your students this year? Too early to tell?? lol

The peeps and the vocal three - love it!  Sounds like a new singing group for America's Got Talent!:)  I actually tried to get tickets to that when I was in NYC visiting Randy, but no such luck, That's okay, though; I wouldn't have traded it for the chance to see and talk to him anyway.;) 

Bet-Z sounds like a sentimental one like me; tell her there's nothing wrong at all with that. They actually have such a thing as a "surfer shuffle," where you're advised to shuffle you feet in the shallow water to avoid stepping on a stingray, but apparently Brian didn't learn that - ha!

I have to give Brian credit, enlisting Emmett's help was the smartest thing he could have done. It will help ease Justin's mind just a bit to know that Brian considers him more than just a one-off....that is if Emmett ever tells him ;)

Jennifer turned my stomach a little with her insinuation that she agrees with Craig about Justin's career choice. As hid mother you would expect her to be more supportive knowing how his father feels. Needless to say I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

As for Jennifer, I just think she is concerned and wants to make sure that Justin can still pursue his art but still have a backup plan just in case for financial reasons.  I wouldn't be too harsh with her.  But I can certainly see your viewpoint on it.  Poor Justin's going to need a little TLC right about now.  But I think Brian may have that taken care of soon.;)

I have to admire the strength of will to resist getting Justin to Brian that way.
Brian is using every trick that allows Justin to win, he just has to learn to keep his mouth shut or busy with something else more productive (in Justin for example). It would also be nice that Justin stop being a drama princess with everything Brian says.
Why more that is being frustrating for our favorite surfer (and for us), hope he gets breaks soon the resistance of our beloved and angry lifeguards.

Oh to get so close.  It's gotta be frustrating.  Like you said one step forward, two steps back.  Maybe Emmett can come up with a plan to help?  Brian is one HOT surfer and he need some TLC from Justin badly.  You worded this chapter so well I felt like a voyeur.

Unfortunate that the breakfast was not very successful.
Brian touched a raw nerve Justin. He was about to explode and Brian was impacted.
I believe that now Brian will get to know what is really going on with the blonde. The interest continues and I believe he will not give up easily.
I love when Emmet can put things so well. I always thought one of the people more aware of the show. He always knew what to say to your friends. And you are playing it in your story.

Sigh.  Lunch with Brian didn't turn out so well.  You can't blame Justin for being miffed though.  I really like Em's suggestions for Justin.  Hopefully things will work out and Justin will not be just a one night stand.  Great chapter all around!

Gidget indeed! this chapter was a hoot. Just because I'm blond, I'm not stupid. We all loved this one. Read it to about twenty people who crowded into our little cubby. I feel so IMPORTANT. Ha! anyway they all loved it and will be waiting impatiently for more. lol

Your romance/sexual scenes are so wonderful, I can see and feel it all. 

I tell ya, I'm struggling with my fic, I'm exhausted, and my eyes are sore from looking at a computer scene all day for work. I'm so tired, I can't really focus.  I'm so behind and will probably stay behind in reading all the different fics that are popping up by the minute in MW.  I don't know when I'll catch up.

BUT, I look forward to escaping from it all and slip away to CA and the romance dance of the boys.  Your story is nice break from my reality!

Well, if you ask me, we can NEVER have enough sun lotion/sun blocker scenes, so write way!  "Our muses must do lunch together" - funny!  BTW, you wouldn't know that you're struggling with your story; I think you're doing a wonderful job.  Sometimes you just have to step away for a while and then come back to it. That's kind of what I'm doing today; I just have basically the last chapter to write, but it seems like I've been having to write a little at a time and then come back to it.  It helps to know I still have one more week to finish it, and that it's almost done already.  I'm just about to pass the 50,000 mark now - yowsa! 

I'm sure you will find a way to finish it, and the rest of your story will be just as wonderful.  After reading what you have so far, now I want to go to P-town, too!  I've always wanted to go to New England; maybe I'll have the chance next summer.  Closest I've been was to go to the Berkshires to see Randy in a couple of plays.;)  Beautiful area, though.

Hi, Kiddo!  Thank you for reading and for taking the time to comment; I hope you're enjoying their frolic on the beach.;)  About the updating - how I wish I could do this with ALL my stories!  I actually was writing this one on the side in between everything else, since I knew it had to be finished by 8/25.  So except for the very last chapter, it's pretty much done.  I just have to have time to get it posted.  Hence the fast updates.;)

As for the mpreg, I know there are two camps about that. But to answer your question, yes!  I have the title, banner, and general outline of the story already constructed.  The big problem is just finding time to write it!  I don't dare start a new (WIP) one unless I have one of my others done, because I have a strong suspicion this would be a long one.  But yes, I DO intend to write one.  I have always wanted to, and I think I have a fairly unique plot that hopefully will hold my readers' interest. So I do hope you will check it out once I start posting it. It will be a while, though; I would like to do my Tricky story next to finish that series up. I owe readers a wedding there first.;)

As you might imagine, I had no idea what was a Gidget, thanks to you, now I know. Who said that fanfiction is not culture? Loved how you used the surname.

Love that.:) I'm very honored that such a great writer as yourself is enjoying this one.;)  I used to love those old Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello and Sandra Dee/James Darren movies. They were hokey but I still enjoyed them just the same.  With "Gidget," I loved how she made Moondoggie jealous and how she was desirable even when she didn't quite realize she was.  I guess a little bit of that is being transferred into this story, although I suspect that Justin knows he's quite attractive already, and is not nearly as innocent.  BTW, I did have a "Moondoggie" reference in the story at some point regarding Brian, but it was deleted somewhere along the line.  I think the "Big Kuhuna" makes an appearance, though - ha!
