Alexandria - now that's what I call a surprise :)
Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: October 26, 2016 06:47 AM · On: Alex
Brian's heart is bigger then he even knows and he is proving it here with wanting to help Alex and I'm proud of him for that. Debbie Is just great always wanting to do something, I can see were he got some of his wanting to help others from. And OMG what a revelation about Alex.
And on another note you are most welcome Kim, Yu are a fantastic writer and I am loving all you do, I still need sequels to those other stories lol big hugs x

Wow did not see that ending coming!
Author's Response: Glad I could surprise you! Hope you continue to enjoy the story. Thanks for reading, and for commenting! ~Kim

I sure as hell didn't see that coming! What an ending to this chapter!
Author's Response: Hi, my friend! Thanks for reading this latest chapter, and especially for the comments; I'm glad I surprised you a little.;) Brian will probably play the tough guy now (at least just a little), but he will need reassurance from his aunt and uncle - and their support and love - now more than ever. I hope you continue to enjoy this story! I will get another update posted as soon as I can. Thanks again.;) *Hugs* ~Kim

Well holy crap! I miss a few chapters and when I come back you just blow me away with THIS shocker! HER??????
I missed this! Another great chapter (as usual). So glad Justin has Brian, Fin, and Tony to support him because I have a feeling he's going to continue to need it. And I have a feeling Alex is going to need SOMEBODY'S support since she's having to deal with Debbie! But then again, Debbie is probably exactly what she needs.
Ok, on to the next one. One good thing about not reading for a while is you get more than one chapter when you finally get around to it! LOL
Author's Response: Hi, Nita - you ARE a few chapters behind - ha! So good to see you catching up. You don't know how hard it was to write about Alex's character without giving that surprise away.;) And she's about to have some much-needed 'instructional' time with Debbie (poor kid - ha!). Thanks for reading this chapter and for the comments, my friend; I really appreciate that. *Hugs* ~Kim

great story!!! i love your writting. i was just wondering did you reupdate this story after the server crash ? is just that i saw it as completed and after the crash it appears as incomplete. thank you a lot and keep up the good work. honestly there hasnt been a story you wrote to date that i didn't thorouthly enjoy.
Author's Response: Hi, Alice! Thank you for reading this story and for the comments. You're very kind.:) To answer your question, no, I am working on updating this story next.:) I believe it was not impacted by the recent server crash on 2/18; it was last updated before that. It is definitely still a work in progress and as far as I know it was always marked as incomplete. I'm not sure how many chapters there will be to this, but I still have quite a bit left to tell, including Alex's fate, Justin's wish for a child, Tony's dream of being married to Fin, and the election itself. So I hope you will continue to read along. I promise it, like all my other stories, will, indeed, be finished.:)
Thank you again for the feedback; it really makes me happy to think that you are enjoying my stories. I promise to update this again very soon, and I hope I can continue to write stories that you will enjoy. *Hugs* ~Kim

lmfao, Alexandria?!?!?!? I can't stop myself of laughing imaging the face of the three of them!! great chapter!
Author's Response: Hi, Yalda - thanks for reading and for the comments; I appreciate you taking the time to do that.;) I'm glad I was able to surprise you; it was a little hard keeping her sex a secret for so long, but I had in mind to make her a girl the entire time. That should definitely put a new spin on things.;) I'll get this updated again just as soon as possible; I still have a lot more of this to tell.:)
Thanks again for taking the time to comment! *Hugs* ~Kim

Great chapter.
I like this story.
I think Alex will be happy with Debbie and Carl.
kiss
Author's Response: Hi, Susana! Thank you for reading and for the comments, Sweetheart; I appreciate that so much. I'm glad that you're enjoying the story. I'm still trying to decide whether Alex is better off with Debbie and Carl or with the boys; I guess I'll just have to see where my inspiration takes me.:) Thanks again for the feedback, my friend. *Kisses* back to you, too. ~Kim

Oh wow a girl that was a little twist lol. I am interested to se where we go with this
Author's Response: Hi, Chris - ha; fooled you!;) Glad I could keep that a surprise.;) Yes, it will be interesting to follow through on this changing relationship. Right now Alex is not exactly a welcome addition to Debbie's 'family' as far as B and J are concerned, but does Brian see something in her that is salvageable? I'm going to enjoy fleshing this out further. Thanks so much for reading and for the comments, Chris; I'll get this updated just as soon as I can. In the meantime, I have a couple of twin girls who are in need of some 'reunification' (wink, wink). *Hugs* ~Kim

I was shocked speechless. Alex is a girl!???
Stewart was caught. Thank goodness.
I enjoyed the bickering of Alex, Brian, and Justin in the car.
"With those bird legs, I'm not surprised,"
LOL! I would have never guessed that Alex was a girl. I can’t wait to see what’s up your sleeve with this one.
Author's Response: Hi, Sandra! LOL - glad that I could pull off that surprise.;) It was hard to keep writing in a neutral style, too, whenever I was writing for Alex to keep me from giving away her sex - ha! I think this will be an interesting dynamic between Brian, Justin, and the girl. It will be interesting to see what results from this eventually. So glad you're enjoying the story! Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment; I greatly appreciate that and will never take that for granted. *Hugs* ~Kim

WOW!! HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN UP HERE. GUESS I HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE LOOP FOR A WHILE. GOT A NEW LAPTOP, SOLD MY OTHER ONE TO A FRIEND AS HE WANTED TO BUY IT OFF ME. NEW ONE MUCH BETTER AND FASTER. JUST THOUGHT I'D LOOK AND SEE WHAT WAS NEW HERE. I KNEW THIS ALEX WAS GOING TO FACTOR IN HERE SOMEHOW. THIS COULD BE A WHOLE STORY IN ITSELF. ARE WE DELVING MORE INTO THE FOUR LIVES NOW AND NOT SO MUCH WITH THE CAMPAIGN? I CAN'T SEE THEM EVENTUALLY ADOPTING THIS GIRL-BUT MAYBE THAT'S WHERE YOU ARE TAKING US. AM GOING TO THE AIRPORT TO GET MY FRIENDS. THEY ARE FLYING IN FROM FLORIDA FOR A FEW DAYS. KIND OF QUIET HERE WITH THE PEEPS MISSING. BB AND LINDC STILL AWAY, NONIE IS OFF FOR A FEW DAYS AND RICK HAS GONE TO WISCONSIN TO VISIT. LUV 2 U.
Author's Response: Hi, Sweetheart! I was hoping to hear from you.:) I'm so happy that you seem to be doing so well now, and that you have some friends coming in to visit. I hope you have a wonderful time! I heard from Brian and lindc, too, from their remote reading spot - ha! And don't worry; I just posted this addition yesterday.;)
As far as the story goes, yes, I do see more emphasis being placed, at least for a while, on the personal aspect of the story. I feel I need to devote at least a little more time to their evolving relationships, particularly Fin and Brian's, as well as just letting the boys get better reacquainted and have a little down time. Alex will also be featured more. And truthfully? I'm on the fence with this kid as far as whether I feel it would be a good fit for B and J to adopt her. I have some other ideas regarding her, but in a way it might make sense for someone like Brian, who was adopted himself, to adopt another child. Would this be prudent for them, however? Hm....not sure. I will have to stew a while over that one.;)
I do hope you continue to enjoy the story, Lee, and I hope you have a wonderful time with your friends! Tell everyone I send my best regards and love to them - and to you.;) *Hugs* ~Kim

great surprise alex a girl not a boy that good thanku kim
Author's Response: Hi, Kim! So good to hear from you, my friend. I'm glad you liked the little surprise at the end.;) Now the boys will have to figure out how to handle her along with Debbie. In the upcoming chapters, I'll be concentrating a lot more on the human side of the story just before the election. I do hope you will continue to read along. Thank you for reading this chapter and for the comments, Kim; I appreciate your thoughtfulness so much. *Hugs* ~Kim

FINALLY! I love the `she` Alex!! About time that she gets more room in this story and also that the story continous. Soooo missing your regular updates!
Author's Response: Hi, dear Friend! So honored to see you reading and commenting on this one. Yes, I had in mind for Alex to be a she all along, but it was quite difficult disguising that fact when I wrote about her.;) Now I can start using the words "she" and "her," though - ha! Glad you liked the twist at the end. Now the question is, what are the boys going to do with her and how will this affect Justin's dream of having a child? I'm sorry it's been so long in updating this one - I'm sure you of all people know how real life can get in the way! But I'm hopeful the next update will be faster. Thanks again for reading and for the support; that means a lot to me. And have fun in Spain!! *Hugs* ~Kim

After toiling in the trenches for three days we finally have a day off. Still not home yet, but hopefully soon. Alex being a girl puts a whole different slant on things.-leave it to you to come up with the twists. The boys don' t know much about pre-pubescent girls. This should be very interesting. BB says hi! and they better send her to a charm school. HA! I told him Brian can deal with her after all he has dealt with Justin and that's saying a mouth ful. I guess we are off the campaign trail for a while-figuring out how to deal with an enigma called Alexandria. lol
Author's Response: Hi, dear friend! Tell Brian I said hello.:) And yes, you're right; I think if anyone can handle a wayward, rebellious child, it would be Brian. Although I probably wouldn't recommend the way he took care of his nephew, John, when he pushed his head into the toilet - ha! I think your Brian has the right idea - but they'd probably kick her out of charm school.;)
Thanks as always for reading and for the comments; I know I sound like a broken record, but you will never know how appreciative I am of your constant support. And now I am moving back to "Parent Trap." I know a couple of guys who need to get better reacquainted. (wink, wink). Hope you all have a good week! *Hugs* ~Kim

Alex turning out to be a girl was certainly a surprise. If Brian really wants to help Alex I hope he’ll be more personally involved than just passing her on to Debbie. Even though the arrangements might now be for her to stay with Debbie and Carl I still hope something happens that means she has to stay with Brian and Justin. And I hope that Justin changes his attitude towards Alex (about not wanted to be her guardian 24/7). He might want to remember that there were people (like Debbie and Brian) who took him in 24/7 when he had nowhere else to go so he might want to pay it forward and help someone else in the same way in his turn. He might even come to care for her more than he expects (and then hopefully he and Brian would adopt her).
Author's Response: Hi, Rixa! Thank you as always for reading and for the thoughtful comments. I will definitely take that into consideration. I think part of Justin's attitude right now stems from two things: One - he has had his heart set on a baby so I don't think his mindset right now is prepared to consider an older child, and two - I think due to everything that has occured during Fin's campaign - Fin and Brian's lives being put in danger, his father's continuing torment of him, and the blackmail - he just doesn't wish to deal with such an insolent, rebellious, contrary child at the moment. But that doesn't mean that she might not grow on him yet. And I kind of like the idea of Brian and Justin adopting a child since Brian himself was adopted and might want another child to have a better life than he had growing up.
Thanks again for reading and for the feedback, Rixa; I am very appreciative. I'll get this updated again soon; in the meantime, I have two fathers who need to be reunited with their twin daughters.:) *Hugs* ~Kim

Ooooh, plot twist with Alexandria. Interesting turn of events. Keep 'em coming.

Author's Response: Hi, my friend; it means a lot that you read and commented; thank you for that. Glad I was able to throw in a curve ball there.;) It was pretty difficult to write from Alex's perspective without giving away her sex.;)
I'll get this updated again as soon as I can; thank you for the support. *Hugs* ~Kim

Well, so is a girl, my god you really like kepping us in our toes. Great chapte, i' hope this time the police reslly take care of that man,Steward, and the boys need some time alone really.
I'm glad toread that you are working in a new chapter for The parent trap.
Hugs
Author's Response: Hi, Luisa! Thank you for reading and taking the time to comment! I'm glad I was able to surprise you a little.:) I think you can rest assured that Stewart is gone for good now. I really want to concentrate more on the human aspect of the story now between the two pairs of partners, Alex, and the unresolved hopes and dreams they still hold in their hearts. And yes, I'm hard at work right now on "Parent Trap." I think you will like the next one (wink, wink). Not sure how many more chapters there will be of that one; maybe two or three? Thanks again for your support, Luisa; I appreciate that so much. *Hugs* ~Kim

well - didn't see that curve-ball coming at all - what a hoot! - glad to hear from these boys again
I so wish I could even think about coming to the reunion - I would so love that - but there is no way I can break away for it - I really would have loved to be able to meet face to face and chat for a bit - but I will be counting on you to tell me all about it
looking forward to the next chapter here - I wonder if Fin will realize and react to Brian having called him his father - that could be a rather tender moment... and...of course, both couples are in desperate need of a little...coupling...wink wink.
loving life,
Charle
Author's Response: Hi, Charle! I wish you could be at the con, too! Elke's arranging a fan meet and greet for that Thursday, and I would have loved to have seen you there. I hope one day we can meet. In the meantime, rest assured I will be loaded with two or three cameras and my netbook just like Lois Lane when I get there - ha!
Thank you for reading this latest chapter and for the kind words, Charle; even after all these stories I've written, my rather fragile soul still needs the reassurance that my stories are still enjoyable.
I agree with you about the story; I think that's why I dispatched Stewart rather handily in this chapter. I want to concentrate more on the human aspect of this story, and the two couples' deepening feelings toward each other and their bond to each other. And, of course, there's the situation regarding Alex, as well as Justin's hope for a child, Tony's wish to be married to Fin, and the election itself. So going forward I will probably be devoting more time to that and not so much to all the political drama, although that will obviously have to be a part of it.
Thank you again for all the support, Charle! And I'm still holding out hope that we can meet face-to-face one day. *Hugs* ~Kim

OMG Alex is a girl. That was really a surprise. But know I wanna read more of this story. KIM !! Sit behind your computer and write!!! NOW !! ... please.
* hugs *
Author's Response: Hi, Marny - you don't know how hard it was to write from her perspective without giving away that 'he' was a 'she,' either - LOL! I'm glad you want to read more, too. I will try to update again just as fast as I can, but I'm working on "Parent Trap" right now, since I know it's been a while since the last update on that one as well.
BTW - thank you for reading and for taking the time to leave a comment. It gets discouraging at times when no one does that and makes you wonder if anyone is still out there reading.:/ I know I can't update as fast as I wish I could, but I do hope readers are still following it. So I thank you for your thoughtfulness. Even with authors who have been writing for a while, they still need the feedback and encouragement. *Hugs* ~Kim
