I, like so many, was not at all happy with how the QAF series ended.  So here is my version of how it could have happened after the last scene.  I owe a debt of gratitude to Eka for my lovely banner and Heather for her wonderful beta work.

This story is completely AU. Brian is a drifter who has been drifting from town to town and job to job for about a year. He and Justin meet at a local diner in Justin's small town suburb.

This takes place after the Stockwell election. It is what my hopes were for Season 4. Before that season, Justin's bashing had never really been resolved in my head or the head of most QAF fans. This is how I thought it might have gone.
