Justin was viciously bashed and severely injured. First his life was in danger and now his sanity is. He feels like he can trust nothing and no one. He's drowning in grief over his lost future and besieged by nightmares. He needs someone to talk to - someone with nothing to lose if he tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Somehow someway, he'll find his way back to Brian, but no journey that's worth taking follows a straight path. Canon, but happy canon! Yay!

This is a little AU centered around Ted and Blake meeting for the first time in high school.

I was asked by a friend if I could imagine an alternate first meeting for these two characters, and for some reason, this is what came to mind.  I know that, given their age difference, these two would never have been in high school at the same time, but I thought it might be an interesting idea to explore. 

I hope you enjoy it.  It’s far from perfect, but there isn’t much written about Ted and Blake, so I figured I would share it :)

So here you are.

Pittsburgh Airport. You could barely see the sign under glaring street lamps and you cursed at every red light, but Justin doesn’t seem to mind. He stares out the window, dreaming of the opportunity spread before him. Simple problems like the weather won’t distract him when he’s leaving for New York City. His future for now and forever.

Justin loves food. Way too much for someone whose metabolism has slowed down and who lives a primarily sedentary lifestyle. As a result, he develops a complex about his weight. He and Brian meet and become friends. Justin is immediately smitten, but Brian, still the stud of Liberty Avenue, sees Justin as only friend material. However, when Brian presses Justin about why he doesn't date, Justin confesses to having a crush on "Joe," a man who doesn't know Justin exists, and Brian decides to help Justin get his man. What will Brian do when he realizes that he has more than friendly feelings toward Justin?

Brian knows he may have cancer, but has not yet told anyone. At Emmett’s suggestion, Justin brings two men to the loft in order to ‘spice things up’, believing his sexual relationship with Brian is merely in a slump. But Brian leaves abruptly when he finds the men in the loft, saying he ‘left something at the office’. This story is set when he returns to the loft several hours later.

Depressed and cynical, Ely Samuels cares for his demented mother.  Driven by guilt  for his part in her financial ruin, Ely is miserable until a beautiful home health nurse reminds him not everything is black and white.  

Brian is a business man with few morals but much career ambition. He wants to make partner at his company, Vanguard Advertising, and to do that he needs to secure a deal with a lucrative new client. When he discovers a sneaky way to accomplish this goal and Justin-heir to the Taylor Hotels Empire-winds up being the key, will he decide that ambition trumps all? I had many requests to continue telling Brian and Justin's story from The Stripper universe.  This takes place a few years after The Stripper and is a sequel.If you haven't read The Stripper, I've included a summary of the story in the story notes.

Summary of the story:  Brian and Justin are living in Pittsburgh and Justin is enjoying his success as a painter.  Justin was ready for his life to move forward and enjoy his success, but now someone from his time as an exotic dancer is back in his life.
