It's always rocky for new parents, these two being no exception.  Interesting beginning - waiting for more.

GUESS WHO TOLD ME THIS WAS HERE. SHE SAID I WOULD LIKE IT. SHE WAS RIGHT, I DO. THE PICTURE IS COOL. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL COME TO AGREEMENTS AND GET THEIR LIVES BACK ON AN EVEN KEEL. AM ON BREAK SO THOUGHT I WOULD DROP YOU A REVIEW. I AM GOING TO MY AUNTS IN COLORADO FOR A FEW DAYS. HUMMER SHOULD BE GOOD IN SNOW--HA! LUV 2 U

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetheart!  Lindc's been telling on me, huh?  You are all so sweet.;)  I'm happy you're enjoying this story so far.  And yes, I think I see more than one miracle coming up soon.  I'll get another part of this posted later today (pending smut alert - wink, wink).

I hope you have a wonderful time in Colorado at your aunt's house!  It should be beautfiul there.  Glad you'll be taking the Hummer (does he/she have a name, by the way?  I've forgotten).  Please be careful, Lee!  And I hope you get some much-deserved rest.  If I don't get another chance before then, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the coming year.  Sending a big hug and my love out to you, Lindc, and Brian.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Aha!! the snow is their nemesis-but on the other hand it will be comforting to stay in a little (not what they are used to) hotel. Small towns can be a friendly place to be especially on Christmas and that looks like that;s where they will be. Shay is too little to know what Christmas is all about so a few days late won't matter to him. Waiting for new chapter to see what this small town does for them. Good one girl. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, lindc! So happy to see you reading the second part.;)  Yes, the snow may just be the best thing that ever happened to them.;)  But will they have to stay there until Christmas?  And just where will they stay?  Hmm...You will find out in the next part.  I should be able to post that sometime tomorrow. We're supposed to get yet some MORE snow tomorrow night into Saturday, so maybe that will inspire me as I work on the last part.;)  After tomorrow's chapter I probably see one or two more chapters, and then that should be it.  Tell Lee I think his favorite story is up after that.  Thanks for taking the time to comment as always. Give Brian and Lee my love and best regards.  You are all very special to me.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim,

Loving the story so far. Will the boys get back to Shay for X-mas? Will they reconcile? I hope so! I love a happy ending even if they have to face tough times ahead first!! BTW: As a mother of 2 babies, I can only recommend that Justin and Brian talk, talk, talk otherwise things will not bode well for them!

Great plot so far!! Keep up the good work!! You're a born writer :-)

Author's Response:

Hi, Lisa - thank you for your kind words and for reading this story; both are greatly appreciated. The boys will definitely be having a heart-to-heart soon to clear up some things. And I think there just may be a happy ending yet.;) Thanks again for the feedback!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I like this story so far.  Looking forward to Brian and Justin rekindling their relationship and getting home in time for Christmas with Shay and hopefully Gus.  I thoroughly enjoy all your stories and look forward to the next update of Tame the Wild Stallion.

Thanks!

Author's Response:

Hello, JW!  Thank you for reading and for your thoughtfulness in leaving a comment; I truly appreciate the support.  I think the boys just might find their Christmas miracle in time before I'm done.;)  Thank your for kind words.  I will post another part tomorrow. And I will definitely be updating "Stallion" as well as my other WIPs soon. They WILL all be completed.  Thank you again for taking the time to comment!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I'm really enjoying this story so far! ^-^ I hope they have the chance to repair their relationship now that they're all alone.... and that they get home for Christmas, of course..... Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter! Hope to read you soon! Kisses!

Author's Response:

Hello, Fátima! Thank you for reading and for the comments, my friend!  I am very happy that you are enjoying this story.;)  It will be a fairly short one (compare to most of mine - ha!).  And I will do my best to see that they get their Christmas miracle, too.;)  I'll have another part posted sometime tomorrow. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness in leaving feedback; that means a lot to to me.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Shit, now their stuck in the middle of nowhere and Justin so yearns for Shay. My heart  goes out for him.

I so hope Brian and Justin can clarify things before they'll be back home.

I'm so hooked, can't wait for more, my dear Kim.

Hugs, Meggi

Author's Response:

Hi, Meggi!  You're so sweet to review both chapters. Thank you for that.:)  I think the boys will, indeed, have a chance to have a heart-to-heart soon.;)  I'm so happy that you are enjoying this story! Thank you for the support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Reviewer: Meggi (Anonymous) · Date: December 13, 2013 03:15 AM · On: Disjointed

Oh no, it's so sad to see Brian and Justin drift apart after the birth of their son. Hopefully they find a way back showing their feelings for each other. It won't be easy, but the love is still there. *sigh*
BTW...I love the name Shay for their son.

Hugs, Meggi

Author's Response:

Hi, dear friend!  Thank you for coming over here to read and especially for leaving a comment; that means a lot to me and helps to keep me from getting discouraged.  I appreciate that very much.  Do not fear; I have in mind some much happier times for the boys  before I'm done.  Thank you again for taking the time to leave feedback, Meggi.;)  I'll get another part posted tomorrow. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim, really enjoying this story very much : ) I can’t help but wonder if Lindsay’s parents have an ulterior motive for inviting the girls to spend Christmas with them though.

Little Shay sounds so cute, and before long he’ll be getting into EVERYTHING- Ha. Looking forward to the next chapter. Hugs ~ Janet

Author's Response:

Hi, Janet! Thank you for reading this story and for your comments; that means a lot to me.  Not sure how detailed I will get with the girls' visit or I will make this a lot longer than I plan! But I have a fair amount more to tell just yet.  I hope you continue to enjoy it, and I have no doubt you are right about the crawling baby - ha!  Amazing how fast they can travel, too, once they learn to walk.;)

Thanks again for the support.  Was starting to wonder if everyone thought this one was boring, so I feel a little better now.;)  I'll post another part tomorrow.   *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hi Kim,

I try to be as good in English to respond, but it is not my native language, I am from the Netherlands.

I feel the tension and sadness of Jus en Brian, so sad for the boy`s!! I hope they will soon feel better together!!

Look forward to the next chapter;

- Fingers crossed for the Daddy`s and Shay, little guy first Christmas.

- And Brian won't see Gus for Christmas grrrrrrr ....

Greeting Elly

Author's Response:

Hi, Elly!  THANK YOU for reading and for taking the time to review!  I am assuming you are my follower on Twitter?  Either way, I am very grateful for you taking the time to comment; that means a lot to me.  I will do my best to see that the boys have a happy Christmas. And you are doing quite well in expressing yourself in English, by the way.;)  I'll post another part of this tomorrow. Thank you again for the feedback; it is most appreciated.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Awww...I hope they make it for Shay's first Christmas and damn Lindsay and Mel for not letting Gus see his fathers during the holiday. I'm sure that Lindsay can't be naive enough to think that all of a sudden her parents have decided to accept her lifestyle.

Author's Response:

Hi. Tamara!  Thanks for reading and for your comments, my friend.  I will try to make sure the boys are happy by the time Christmas arrives.  Let's hope more than one miracle occurs here.;)  I will get another part of this up tomorrow. Thank you again for all the support you give me and so many other writers.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Well considering that Gus won't be there for Christmas, it really won't hurt if they're not there.  Babies don't know what day it is and just maybe Brian and Justin will find a little romance along the way.  At least Brian knows there is something wrong and Justin is not alone in thinking it.

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend - I thank you for reading and for the feedback.;)  Yes, I suppose it's more how Justin would feel about missing their baby's first Christmas rather than the affect it would have on Shay.  I always thought of Justin as the more sentimental one, although it could be argued that Brian was slowly becoming that way toward Season 5 as well.  I'm thinking this road trip may turn out to be a good thing for the boys (wink, wink). Thanks again for taking the time to review!  I will get another part of this up tomorrow. *Hugs*  ~Kim

nice start - looking forward to finding out what kind of journey you are going to take us on  - so glad the title gives hope right from the start - so I know that no matter what happens - the boys will end up find at the end

loving life,

Charle

Author's Response:

Hi, Charle!  Thank you for reading, my friend, and for the support.  Kind of discouraging as a couple other writers mentioned in their own posts when you have 370 readers and very few comments afterward.  Certainly leaves you questioning yourself at times...So I truly treasure each and every one that I receive.  THANK YOU for that.  You know I will put them back in a happy place before I'm done.  This one won't be very long in duration; I fully intend to have it done before the holiday.  I'll get another part posted tomorrow.   Thank you again, Charle. *Hugs*  ~Kim

Excellent so far!  Can't wait to read more.  Feel so bad for them right now

I did find one grammer/spelling mistake.   "Justin knew that only two well." Should be "Justin knew that only too well."

Author's Response:

Hi, Lauren - thank you for reading this first chapter and for your comments. And thanks for pointing out the grammar mistake. I'm utterly embarrassed now, because I can't believe I didn't catch that. My brain must have been separated from my typing fingers at the time, because I certainly know the difference, and I'm usualy obsessive about things like that.  You are absolutely right; I fixed it (covering face now). I hope you enjoy the rest of the story. Thanks again.  ~Kim

yeah :-) a new story :-) and one with a little child :-)

great beginning so far. like the fact that justin sees that a child can change a realationchip.

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend - thank you for reading and for taking the time to leave me feedback; that means a lot to me.;)  I hope you enjoy the rest of this story. It won't be an overly long one (for a change - ha!).  I thought it would be interesting as you mentioned to explore what might happen to a relationship, good and bad, when a little one joins the mix. Thanks again for the comments!  I will have another part up probably tomorrow.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Another wonderful start to a interesting storyline.  How well I remember having to share what was once total affection for my hubby to one that was more focused on my child.  Not pretty.  At least Brian admitted, more or less, that he was a prick.   The title of course gives me hope!!!

Author's Response:

Hi, my dear - as always, I'm grateful for your support and for reading; thank you for the feedback.  Things will stay a little angsty, but you have good reason to be optimistic.:)  You know I can't leave them unhappy for long, especially around the Christmas holiday.  I will post another part sometime tomorrow. Thank you again for the comments!  I am very appreciative.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I am so glad to see a Christmas story from you. I knew you would post one as it is your pattern. Forth-coming snow, is that a clue on catch-up time. In the old days he would have had Justin help him ith the boards--sorry, am living in the past. Maybe there is some salvage somewhere. It's going to be a good one---my gut says so. So glad I will have something to read before I go off into the wild blue. Am leaving the 21st and will be back before New Years eve as the hospital is having a Gala--should be fun. lol

Author's Response:

Hi, dear friend!  Always so happy to hear from you.;)  And yes, the snow will be playing an important part in this.;)  You know eventually I'm going to have to right things with them, so not to fear.  I think you told me you're heading to Japan?  I hope you have a safe trip and a wonderful time.  Thank you as always for the support and for reading.  I'll get another part up tomorrow.  I only have a small bit left to finish before I wrap it up.  Say hello to everyone for me and send them my love and best wishes.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Oh I am going to love this one Kim, damn the inner turmoil Brian is going through...but I'm sure Justin and baby Shay will help him through it.

Author's Response:

Hi, Tamara, my friend!  You always spoil me by being so supportive of my stories; thank you for that, it is most appreciated.  Things will stay a little angsty for a while, but you know I can't leave them that way.;)  Thank you again for all the support; I'll get the next part up tomorrow sometime.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Ohh new story. Love it the plot is really good. I always wondered if having a child together would mess up the boys relationship. Looking forward to seeing what happens now. Great start its really quiet interesting!

:)

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend.  Thank you for reading this first part and for taking the time to review; I really do appreciate that.  I, too, wondered how a newborn might disrupt their lives, and how he/she would also enrich them.  Brian never really had to deal with Gus 24/7, so this will be a new experience for him.  There will be some things to work out  here, along with some angst, obviously, but some events will occur to help move them in the right direction.;)  I'll get another part up tomorrow. Thanks again for the support.:)

P.S.  Let me know how the pooch is doing, too.;)  I hope you're reunited soon.;)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I'm reviewing!!

I'm enjoying this already. I love X-mas stories about the boys :-)

Can't wait to find out more.
