I will be updating this one very shortly. I am trying first to write a (completed) story for the summer fan fiction challenge that is due on 8/15, but I have not forgotten this one. The next chapter will (finally) involve the actual election and detail Justin and Tony waiting with their men for the results. While they do, I intend to do a back story on how Fin and Tony met and fell in love. I have been wanting to do that for some time. If Fin wins, too, I have some definite ideas involved for the Governor's Mansion (wink, wink).

great chapter as always. I kind of...imagined a bit more with Alex with the two Debbie thing, I thought she might have been taking to it like a duck to water ans becoming a kind of 'mini me' of Debbie's but this was good as well.
Some good drama and lovin as always Lookin forward to more.

Ok, first of all, I'm not sure the world is ready for another Debbie! LOL And you had me laughing so hard when Alex bopped him on the head with the tray! I've wanted to do that myself a few times!
Alex is right where she needs to be, and she's going to have all the love and support she could ever want or need. She just has to allow herself to accept it.
Poor Justin. I just want to give him a hug. Brian too, because when Justin hurts, he hurts.
And we're finally at election day! Was so proud when Fin made the decision to stand up for Justin instead of using the situation. Finally Brian has a real parent who loves not only him, but his husband.
Now to get Fin in the Governor's mansion.....

Justin's observation and theory about Alex makes sense. I can see all the possibilities of emotional and physical trauma in her past. May Justin could be the one to get through to her.
I was glad Finn and Tony were back. I had missed them.
Side note:
I saw the new pics of Gale and Randy on your LJ. Its funny how they both looked as if they slept in their clothes (and possibly together). Randy looks more attractive the older he gets.

Just answered you over on FF.net about the other story.;) Thanks for taking the time to read and for the comments on this one, Sweetie.:) If you like Tony and Fin (so do I), you'll probably like the next chapter, because I plan on Tony describing to Justin in more detail how they met and fell in love as they wait to hear about the election results. I always wanted to go into more detail about that.:)
I still have quite a bit more to tell with this story, and after seeing the online virtual tour of the PA governor's mansion, I've got all sorts of other (wicked) ideas coming to mind - ha!
As for the con, yes, it was great to see Gale and Randy together on stage again after so long. I'm glad you enjoyed the posts. I should have one more post with photos of the con before I'm finished. And BTW, I like your reason for why they slept in their clothes, too (wink, wink). But if he DID, I could see him trying hard to keep proper decorum while Justin admires all the artwork, Tony begins to scout out good wedding sites, and Brian, of course, scopes out where the best fucking spots would be for him and Justin - ha! Yes, the con was a lot of fun; so great to finally see Randy and Gale on stage together again, and between me and several other fans, we got a LOT of photos, too.;) I managed to get one taken of Gale and Randy alone by the professional photographer in addition to me being in another picture, which I'm glad I did; it turned out great!:)
I'll be going to NYC in early August to see Randy's new play; looking forward to that, too. But I'm going to try hard in the meantime to crank up my story posting schedule. Speaking of which, yes, the election is definitely coming up in the next chapter, and I plan on detailing more of how Fin and Tony first met, too.;)
BTW, I noticed there's an virtual tour of the PA governor's mansion online; that's created all sorts of interesting scenarios in my head now that I've seen it - ha! Seems Deb has things well in hand as usual. Alex is going to take some work. BB thinks she needs a good paddling-Ha! I think that would make matters worse. Fin is getting closer to the governor's house. Lee is good although he is not here tonight.His roommates' brother is quite sick and in another nearby hospital. I think he has to have surgery-don't know all the details. I'm sure when he has time he will be reading his STORY.BB is on the fence as to whether he is going to relocate. Nonie is doing well, at last. We have two new trainees again. Tour updates on the Con are precious. The pictures are amazing and the story that goes with each set is so wonderful. My friend Tozier who lives in NY e=mailed me and said Randy is going to be in a play there this summer. He didn't give me details so don't know what it is and when. I am always on the wrong coast when things happen. Murphy hates me. Back to work now. lol

I'm glad you enjoyed the posts about the con! And I know all about Randy's new play.;) In fact, I will be seeing it (twice) on Aug. 3 and Aug 4 (I know - obsessed much? LOL!). It's called "Harbor," and will be at the 59th Street Theater. Can't wait to see it! I may try to publish some of my con photos into a book for Randy to give to him if I have a chance to do that - I did the same thing after Cologne when I gave it to him after "Silence," and he seemed to appreciate that.

Tony and Fin are great. Justin certainly seems to have sympathy for Alex - she's had a tough life. Nothing makes you appreciate how good you have it until you meet someone worse off. Nice story.

I've sent Bob another email about it, but it's odd how I was getting them before, but am not now. So I didn't know you had left a review. Ugh. Thanks for doing that, though. I do love Tony & Fin's characters a lot; in fact, in the next chapter I will have Justin and Tony talking before the election, and Tony will be elaborating more on how he and Fin met and fell in love.
