I love this story, I felt so bad for poor little Gus. And those two bitches ,how could they do that with the kids in the house. Brian being so protective of his son and the love he has for Gus and Justin is always great to see.
In the begining they were in the loft then Britin. Do they live in Both? Did they get married since Justin did not go to NY? I was wondering if this follows some or all of canon because the girls never went to Canada. Looking forward to next chapter.

Aww such a sweet ending to this chapter. Boy Linds and Mel sure have a volatile relationship. Kudos to Brian for taking charge. And I'm glad Michael seems more mature in this.

Incredible that Linds and Mel had no idea that their child had left the house! Bad enough not to check on Gus during all of that time, but to fail to check on J.R. who is just a baby?? How could they leave her alone for so long? Awful. They deserve everything that is coming to them. Whatever their problem is not an excuse. They are the ones behaving like immature brats. Loved seeing Brian taking charge and laying down the law to L. & M. And, it was good to see Justin being such a great dad to Gus. Great chapter!

What a nerve,Mel is the one who has the guts to get angry,but not as angry as Brian is..Seriously though they didn't know that Gus was gone??What an irresponsible parents..I think they should solve the problem for the kids and then fix their own problems either get back together or not as long as they work together for both kids..

A sweet, tender and heart wrentching moment between Justin and Gus. Oh how my heart aches for the poor little boy. thank goodness he was able to get to B&J. That he's now feeling safe and secure. He's going to have a lot of questions and concerns in the near future I would imagine. He must wonder why his mothers are behaving in such a way. Was surprised when you clarified that Lindsey smacked Mel. I thought it was the other way around. The girls are really going to have to get their shit together now!! Brian will follow through. Micheal I think will do everything he can to grasp onto Jenny as well. both men will do whatever it takes to keep their kids safe and secure. Both physically and emotionally.
Terrific update! Definitely really getting into this. You always write such emotionally charged stories. doesn't matter what the emotion is, whether it be anger adn frustration and concern as in this one, or heart warming and loving like others.

This wasn't an easy chapter to write and it gets even more emotional as it goes on. There is much the girls need to do. Jeebus mother fucking christmas! Holy shit! I want to reach into this story already and bitch slap those 2 women! Oh I hope that Brian and Michael are able to keep the kids. I hope they force those 2 to get the help they obivously need. I don't trust either of them at the moment though. anticpating how those phone calls are going to go. And that physical violence is in the mix too. No plce to those 2 kids at all!!!!!
My heart was stuck in my throat at what gus had to hear, never mind when he was out on teh street so scared. thank goodness he came across Dave!! That the poor guy was able to get to his daddy. what a sweetheart looking after his baby sister.
