I'm just letting you know I just reread this entire story, again. I think in the eight months since your last update, I have read it three times. I very much love the story. Chapter nine is so very good, so sad and yet so revealing. (Not to mention Mel's phone call to Ted brought on the waterworks.) Mel's character growth is so great to see. I finally broke down and read this. When I first noticed the story, I think it was the fourth chapter. I debated about starting to read it, as I noticed the slow updates. (I'm not saying this to be rude.) It's just I wasn't sure if you were going to continue. As I was looking around for something to read today, I came across this, and thought, "Why not?" I am so very HOOKED now. I notived it has been six months since your last update, so I really hope it is soon.
I adore anti-Michael amd Lindsay stories, and this is definitely not disappointing. I'm very concerned for Gus' state ofmind, but if anyine can help that little boy and bring him back to being himself, it will be Brian and Justin.
I really hope Ben demands MIchael to leave. Hopefully, Michael won't have a pot to piss in. It's the only way to maybe keep him out of trouble.
I almost cheered for joy when Jennifer told him she would have him banned from the hospital. She should have followed through with it anyways.
PLEASE update soon. As I said, I'M TOTALLY HOOKED!!! Very good story.

I went back and re-read from the beginning. Still think it's great... My heart goes out to both Justin and Brian for their pain. And I still want to rearrange Michael's face. Selfish turd. (can I say that????)
In this chapter it was good to see the points of few of some of the others. The boys have some very good friends just lurking at the sidelines. Time to hold them close, get rid of the problems, and of course we know who they are, and get Justin healed. Looking forward to more.

What a heart-wrenching and yet hopeful chapter!
I adored how both Daphne and Molly attacked Brian on Justin's behalf. It warms my heart that Justin and Molly have become so close, that she is his confidante.
Vic's visit to Justin reminded me of the cancer arc, when Brian dreamed of Vic visiting him.
I like Gwen and her efforts to keep Brian from making the same mistakes she did. She's a good original character--interesting but doesn't distract from the main focus of the story.

Felt bad for Brian, as well as Ted and Blake always having to deal with Micheal's immaturity adn self centeredness. I somehow don't see it changing much for the unforseeable future. It's going to take something drastic to happen for him to really see what's what with B&J. He's going to end up being the lone man out from the inner circle! At least Jennifer will be there as well as apparently T&B to support them. Hopefully Britain will remain their hidden shangrila with no interruptions.

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about Justin just giving up on everything. I like a strong Justin and he didn't appear to be very strong in this universe. And then I read this chapter and something shifted for me. I'm not sure how to explain it really but the enduring strength of Justin's belief in the kind of man Brian was capable of being and his lack of bitterness towards Brian for the painful path he was compelled to follow to reach that potential, his ability to forgive .. Well I see no weakness in any of that.

Great chapter! I have to say that you are bringing to the forefront, the one thing that always grated on my nerves. The whole let's blame Brian for Justin’s condition song and dance has gotten very old. Justin is an adult capable of making his own decisions. Let's not forget that Justin chose to go to New York just as Brian was offering him a solid commitment. So I think everyone should keep that in mind.

To me the last episodes of the show Brian seemed OOC to me. It's been a long while since I've seen them, because of the way the show ended. I'm thinking that the Brian as you've written him is what he really was working toward. That the 'family' was responsible for trying to keep a square peg into a round hole. This chapter is really good and gives me a lot of hope. I think, however, that Mikey might want to mess it up.
