Author's Response: I always thought Brian was lonely in the extreme. The final scene of the show, where he dances in Babylon, to me, is emblematic. Their pain and loneliness are printed there for all to see.
For me, his way of dealing with the pain only serves to mask her loneliness.

I forgot to say in the review for the prologue how I got an image of Justin being like a femme fatale. This chapter has me seeing him in a different light, but I can't believe he got married to someone other than Brian. I in mourning now.

In the story Justin is a little different, after all he is older and with a totally different life.

My translator is recovering and so sometimes things get a little confusing. I asked him the name of fics where the boys talk time so romantic. You got it right. I do not know that their work, but I will read the trilogy and I will return. I understand that there is a coincidence here.
I read several fics where Brian changes his whole life to be with Justin, but they are all in New York, I have not read any site that was London.
I chose London because I believe that the artistic spirit of Justin fit with a European city like Paris and would be very obvious, I preferred London.
I do not think Justin would do the same for Brian. I love Justin, but do not see him making such a sacrifice and never read any fiction he has done it. (It's a chance for a new story, what do you think?)

well - my first thought is a completely self centered 'yes' - I just knew that Brian was going to find out at the art show that Justin had never forgotten him - and never could
second thought - I absolutely love the fact that Justin has not bottomed for anyone else while they were apart
and my third is...'uh-oh' - now comes the hard part for Brian - the boys need to talk - and he needs to find a way to assure Justin that not only will he never give up on him again ...
... but more importantly - his son will mean as much to him as the dad (and hoping that he can do that without some sort of trauma happening to the lad - there just has to be another way)
time will tell - love how this story is progressing - can't wait for the rest!

I always saw Justin as a Toppy and only Brian he was going to the bottom (the only exception was James Connor).

I also love the role reversal. But, as I said in other reviews, I write in Portuguese and the story needs to be translated.
As I worked with the first run, I could not go as far as I could, there are four more chapters to finish the fic and I tried to make it as difficult as possible the definitive return of the boys.

Brian's anger is so sad, but it's good that he's not drinking or doing drugs as much.
This is like a wonderful rollercoaster ride - sweet one moment, sad the other moment. Very touching.
I like Romona and that she protects Justin and Nick.

This story is a journey (literally) Brian, where he will have to decide what really matters to him. Their decisions is that will give us the paths to take. That's why he invited us to join him.
As for the translation, is actually very complicated. I have not mastered English, writing everything in Portuguese and is Tagsit who is translating esa story wonderfully.
My other stories were translated by Predec did an exceptional job.
I am very fortunate to have these two wonderful betas.
All my comments and answers are written with the help of Google, which is why it has so many errors.

This story is a journey where Brian will have to make decisions to achieve happiness. Metaphorically independent of your decision will be without a trip back to Brian.

They could have some time together while there, but Justin seems to have a life in London and Brian, his in Pittsburgh.

Really? Justin living in London and married to someone else? I'll admit that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Being that he his married even if they just happen to run into each other in Ibiza, they couldn't be anything more than friends.

Keep in mind that Brian knows little of the life of Justin. That's because contrary to all expectations, Debbie, Emmett and Michael kept their mouths shut. Michael, spoke only wedding, so Brian took off once Justin's thought, in the view of Michael.
On the other hand, Brian never asked about Justin to anyone.
But Ibiza will bring some surprises.
Above all else, this is a story where Brian will question their beliefs and decide what is most important to him.
