I just finished the story. It was a great continuation of "The Stripper". I'm glad that John was able to realize that he really did have a problem and that he did need to get help before anything bad had happened to Justin.

Awe man the end and I have happy tears thank you for those. Justin truly has come such a long way. Brian, Daphne and the rest really supported him and the love they have is wonderful. I’m thankful that you showed what mental health can do to a person as well as it affects so many.

Wow thank god the restraining order was kept in place by the judge I don’t think Justin and Brian could have taken it if it didn’t. I hope they can get back to their life now x

I love how you are writing these guys and creating such an amazing story for us all. I’m sure many people have felt this kind of fear before and you may have helped them deal with it by writing this story .

Awe man poor guys Justin’s inner battle as to what to do is killing me. I can feel it jump off the page and poor Brian trying to hold it all together for them both. I do hope that Justin decides to stay at the house and not move. Maybe just put in the security that Brian wanted in the first place.
Amazing chapter, really moving xx
Author's Response: I'm so pleased that the anxiety they are feeling is conveyed in the writing. So many times, it is difficult to tell if that is the case when a writer puts words down on paper.

Move! That is such a huge thing to say and to do. I hope it is the right thing for them to do. Brian is really supportive and I’m glad he is because I think he needs to look after Justin for himself as much as anything. I cannot imagine the fear that’s running through them as to what’s going on and how it truly should be felt with.
Im so hooked on this brilliant story x
Author's Response: Brian will do anything for Justin but I was happy that Justin went with his solution to temporarily move to a place in town. This way it is not permanent and they can decide their future.

Sam was just trying to be helpful and I hope this doesn’t backfire. I understand why Brian is freaking out and I would be the same about getting better security around the house who could blame him wanting to protect the one you love. I think Justin is reacting the way he is because he is more scared then he is letting on.
Fantastic work x
Author's Response: It is a little creepy that Sam showed up at their home. I think I would be freaked out too. Brian has to weigh being safe with the knowledge that Justin may feel trapped in his own home.

Brian needs as much. I’m glad Jennifer is there for him they can lean on each other. Ohhhh who is the mystery guy.

I'm thrilled that you are enjoying these stories; however Fatherhood is still a work in progress. I've been writing it for a long time and I keep thinking if will be over soon, but my muses think otherwise. I do update regularly, but if you choose to only read finished stories, you do not want to start that one yet. If you want to wait until it is finished, may I suggest a different series on the site? It starts with Falling off the Cliff, Pain Management, Guilt Managerment, Compromises and You Will Always be Young and Beautiful- in that order. They should keep you busy for a few days.-- lol.

I loved this second story in the series, although, I found Justin was a little whiny (not as Michael) in the end. I know what happened was traumatic but he wasn't alone in this dark period. Daphne and Brian were very strong support for him, and Gus in a small part.

I had read the The Stripper before but when I saw the sequal I downloaded both onto my Kindle. Both stories unique unto themselves. I love AU stories and that you have created a gentler Brian. I imagine he would have transformed into something like this if the series had continued. At least in my fantasy world. LOL You portray his sarcastic sense of humor perfectly. I felt antsy seeing Justin have to face so much anxiety but you brought him out of it in a realistic manner. One of your other reviews mentioned that as a writer you might feel relief and regret at finishing a story. As a reader when a story is written as well as this was I feel regret that it is coming to an end. Continuing in this universe would be well received I believe. Would love to see the boys entering parenthood with a new baby.
Author's Response: Suse:
thank you for the time and effort you took to comment on both of these stories. Fanfiction writing is truly of labor of love- why else would I still be writing some 10 years after the show ended. I enjoy writing post series as I can envision the characters in my vision, but it warms my heart to read that my readers can believe the portrayls I have chosen. I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the stories. I am still trying to come up with an original story line for them as parents- not wanting to rehash what other authors have done before. The writing buy will hit eventually.

Congratulations on finishing another story! This was quite the epic, too. I know, if you're like me, that finishing a Fic gives you a strange mix of relief and regret. Hope you enjoyed writing it as much as we readers enjoyed reading. Now, what have you got planned for us next? TAG
Author's Response: Tag:
As always getting feedback from writers I admire is always a huge boost. I do feel a sense of relief mixed with regret- well not regret but emptiness is more appropriate. This story took a lot of side ways journeys that I wasn't expecting- I don't even remember the muse that started me down the slippery slope of the stalker and such. It has been well received- My story Pain Management ( my first long epic) was well read as well- site crashed and I lost the first 100 or so comments on the story so I guess the comments are similiar. To me, this is a darker fic and I think the fandom is definitely smaller or different than it was in 2009 when I wrote the other story. I'm not sure what I have planned for another story- I'm always open to ideas or stories people would like to read based on my current fics. I think the hardest part of writing is coming up with an idea that sparks your imagination enough to want to tell the tale. Ideas are always welcome, if you have any you'd like to see me write.

No, I don't want it to end. I loved this story. You did a beautiful job with all the issues the boys faced. They had wonderful friends and family who were there to support them when needed. I would love you to visit them again from time to time. I want their story to go on. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent.

Yes, we sure did come a long way. It was a fine trip. Thank
you for the story. A baby? Why not, they both will make great
parents and one more good thing for them to focus on. A nice
way to end our trip with them.
Thanks again,

Happy that Justin finally found himself, and got back that part of him that helps him survive. Tim turned out to be more of a help than the hinderance Justin originally thought he would be. Great job with the story. Hope to see another one soon.

I actually hope that Brian realizes he doesn't want children. Party because I just don't see an in character Brian ever wanting to be a full-time father (regardless of how he has grown and changed in other ways) and partly because stories where Justin has a biological child has been done to death (especially with Daphne as a surrogate). It would be nice for a change to read a story where, when the topic of children comes up, they decide not to have any.
Author's Response: Thank you for your feedback. I am torn between Brian being a full time father and him saying no. If I decide to go that route, Daphne won't be the mom

Wow it sounds like a nothing penalty for the crime. I disagree no one was really hurt, just because there was no physical injuries does not mean Justin has not been effected. In fact we know he has emotionally but the law is like this in real life as well.
Author's Response: I'm not a legal expert, but this is the information that I gathered- I wish there were more of a consequence- but I also tried to be realistic. I agree, Justin was hurt as was Brian.

Enjoyable chapter. I like how Brian wants to do whatever he can for Justin. Money no object. A place with a doorman is a good idea. Love how Cynthia shows up in this and how helpful she is. I wonder is there is room at Kinnetik for Justin to set up a studio? Best of all you used the title of the story in this chapter.
Author's Response: Thanks- so many fun things happening- Brian is so protective of Justin and will do anything for him. Cynthia really liked Justin - I think she really showed this in the show- esp in season 4 when Brian and Justin are together before Ibizia. Using the title in the chapter seemed to fit.

I like the way you have this playing out. Justin may have expressed his wishes to move and Brian being a man of action, and one that will do anything for his man, is right on to making it happened; however, it now leaves Justin will a small dilemma. Hey Sandy
Well Justin's attitude surprised me, but I'm pleased he feels he can move forward. The legal system does seem to be lacking when it comes to protecting people; thinking a piece of paper will make an offender (stalker) follower the law. Another well written, believable chapter; thank you.

Great chapter Brian starting to go into protector mode he had Gus come over and this provided Justin with a distraction. He started to drink but even then he stopped himself to remain in control. However Justin was the one to bring down the anxiety Brian was experiencing, his belief that Daphne knows him and cares for him gives him a reminder of his own resilience and self worth and take back his life. I really enjoyed this chapter
Author's Response: Good to hear from you again, Chris. I love Brian protecting his family and Justin is the most important part of his family. Gus is definitely a close second. Brian has learned to control his pain management method, but he does recognize that it is his go to method. I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter.

Hi Sandy :)
Sorry it has taken me so long to review; I had a few health issues to deal with. I do have a question on this chapter if you could help me please. I have never had anything to do with using a lawyer or the court system so my question is; would it be as cheap as $500 for a lawyer? Don't laugh, but for some reason I always thought in the thousands of dollars to get someone to represent you. Maybe that's why I tried to stay on the right side of the law. LOL I like the way you are handling the legal stuff and it all seems pretty real to me.
