Thanks! I always seem to portray Justin as a bit more of an equal. At least a man who knows what he wants and is doing with his life. It took Brian a while to catch up to him in this story, but anticipation is fun. I found that picture of that ring and KNEW it was one I could use for the story. I thought Justin being gentle with Brian during the cancer was perfect.

Thanks. I like the stories where they gradually get to know each other and watch their relationship develop over time. Justin is very caring and, of course, took gentle care of Brian.
I don't have any plans to further this story, but one never knows what will strike me to be written next.

I loved this story, especially the easy friendship that Justin and Brian developed, allowing Brian to gradually come to terms with his feelings without too much angst or interference from"the family". I really liked the writing style too:-)

This reminded me of my ex. We had this thing with the moon.. because one night in the car we saw the moon and said that no matter where each of were (it was long distance) we could each look at the moon and think of each other looking at the same exact place and be connected. That is so sweet. I've always felt a connection to the moon. My birthday was yesterday, and that makes me, astrologically, a Cancer ... a moonchild. A full moon always makes me feel connected and happy. Gale Harold's bday is 7/10, and I gave him a birthday card when I met him last month at Rise N Shine con. I told him that I knew it was a month early, but I figured I might not see him in the next month. :) Anyway, the moon is powerful and I wanted the 'magic of moonlight' to effect Brian in this story. Thanks for the lovely review.

I love that a well groomed Brian knows Justin has options (Kyle), however, I was surprised Justin let Brian buy him back. Even if he wanted love and not sex it still seems he is only getting what he wanted through letting Brian spend money on a hotel room. Will the coming holidays effect their romance? I’m not sure what holidays you refer to, but the good thing is I can read on and find out. Sorry I’m not from the US where I assume you are from. Loving this fic.

Firstly, thank you for posting this in several chapters as I don’t get time to read for long periods and one long story is sometimes frustrating to try and go back to and find your place. Hopefully Brian has stopped the baseball bat wielding villains in time and they haven’t seriously hurt Justin. Michael is a good guy, but that tinge of jealous is still there; I hope that doesn’t become a problem. I’m really enjoying this different scenario and I will try and remember to review as I go, but your fics suck me in and in my haste to read on I sometimes forget.

This one took me months to write, but, yes, I like to post it all at once in chapter form. You're right, it makes it easier to read in installments. I have to Michael at least a teeny bit jealous to make him true to character. But, this tiime around, he was already established with Ben, so the 'need' for Brian isn't quite as acute. It's funny what you say about the stories sucking you in ... I know what you mean.
