You had me going, I thought this might be a Mikey/Brian story. Everyone seems down on Brian except for Jesse. Mikey sounded an awfull lot like Justin did in season 3.

I never liked new characters but I love Jesse and Francis. I want to read as much of them as Brian and Justin.
I'm hoping Jesse will be the one telling Michael to stop his shit. Jesse not yelling at him (like a good Novotny) would clue Michael on how serious his little brother is. Jesse would leave Justin out because it's none of his or Michael's business what place he has in Brian's life.
I'm sick of how the gang is still treating Brian after a year. He did nothing wrong but it was still his fault. I'm just glad Brian is entouring himself of people not envolved with the gang. I so want the gang (Lindsay, Debbie and Michael) to realize that Brian doesn't need them. The way Debbie is with him make me think of Joan. She's not happy with him. She let him know every chance she gets. She makes him feel like he owe her for whatever fucked up reason. It's like she knows what hurts Brian the most and she uses it againts him because she thinks he hurt her son when it really was Michael who fucked up.
Am I a bad person to want Jesse and Francis to only tell Brian about their engagement ? It would be easy because only Francis has a ring.

So, when will Justin get pregnant? We all know Brian is in denial on how he feels for the blonde, so of course we want him to be pushed to go to the next level. Cant wait too for the 'family' of Brian to learn about Justin. A pregnant Justin! ;D.
It would also be sort of a slap on Michael and make him to completely move on with Ben. I dont really think Mikey is in love with Brian, he's just one of those people who want his former minions to always be following him. And what a boost to his ego that The Kinney is still pining over him, or so he thought. At least I dont't think he's truly in love with Brian, I just dont like Ben to get hurt. Ben has always been a favorite of mine. Hehe!

Hi, Draccone! I’m a big fan of your stories, though I was afraid you decided not to come back to them. I’m thrilled they you seem rather determined to finish those stories which are in progress, but even seeing just a few more chapters already makes me happy. I can’t even tell which story is my favorite – almost all of them are exciting and plain perfect to me.
I decided to write my comment in “On a pathway to you” topic because it’s the one which’s been updated recently. The story is getting better and better, I can’t wait to see what’ll become of Brian and Justin’s relationship. It’s understandable that Brian is afraid of being hurt again, but still, he is risking losing the soulmate he has found in Justin. I’m sure one day he’ll be finally able to accept that what they share is love, but I’m afraid it might be already too late. Justin right now is so in love he is ready to accept almost everything, and, well, in the last chapter Brian behaved almost perfectly, but I wonder how long it’ll last. I *loved* the episode with Michael! Great, finally Brian showed him that despite his betrayal hurt, it didn’t destroy him, and in fact, now he is more alive than ever! I sooo can’t wait to see the moment when Michael’ll find out about Justin! You described all of that just perfectly, I’m looking forward to the next update! BTW, Brian and Jesse’s interactions are always interesting, the friendship they share is rare and real. There is only one thing that I generally don’t like – I can never, *never* imagine either Brian or Justin calling each other “baby” – no matter how close they are, how they love each other. In fact, I can’t imagine any man being called so, but maybe it’s so weird to me because I’m from Ukraine, and our equivalent of “baby” is *so* pathetic and disgusting that I just can’t get it in books. Anyway, those Brian and Justin you write about are your characters, and whatever you feel they should or shouldn’t do is certainly right. Thank you for the great story! I don’t like m-pregs, didn’t see even one story which I would like with it, but I feel this one is going to become one. I’m interested in how it’ll all go.
“Deadly killers” is probably the only one story ever that left me staring incredulously at the page for maybe ten minutes. I was SO shocked, I just can’t describe it to you! Later I told everything about it to my friends and relatives, because I felt I *must* share it with someone! I never expected the killers to actually be Brian and Justin! I was angry at the murderer for trying to set them up, at the detectives for suspecting them, and when the explanation began, I was reading with my mouth agape. Till the last words I was damned sure it’s just a mistake, some kind of a trick, and then the realization hit me… you’re incredible! The story is shocking and amazing… usually I’m not into those kinds of things, main characters – killers, but here it fits perfectly! It’s a pity Ethan wasn’t killed by Brian:) Jealousy crime, like Justin’s – it’s always captivating. The most intriguing and shocking murder for me was Daphne’s, Brian’s motives are so well-thought and rational here… No more words, just applauses.
“Dreaming about us” – oh-oh, this one is definitely on the top of my list. Everything about this story is breathtaking, I couldn’t stop until I reached the end. The story-line is unusual, and I simply adore Brian here. He is so possessive, so dark, so obsessed with Justin… and he loves him so much. I was furious when he decided to sell him, and impossibly relieved when he changed his mind. The Justin you described here… it’s really not possible not to fell in love with him. It was sad that sometimes he hurt Brian so much, but Brian hurt him too, and well, the situation is so complicated here… Justin couldn’t feel free for a single moment, he couldn’t even be sure that he truly loves Brian, because what if his feelings appeared only because of the lack of choice? His departure was painful for both of them, but it also was necessary. And it made his coming back much more meaningful! I love absolutely all story-lines here, with Ethan and Michael and Brendon especially. I enjoy re-reading this great story immensely, though as long as there is no sequel, I prefer to stop at the moment after the incident with Brendon, when Brian and Justin made up and Justin is sleeping while Brian is watching him:) I love this story, thank you so much for it, it’s so powerful!
“From Utter Hell To Delicious Torment” was the first story about teenage Brian and Justin that I’ve read. At first I didn’t want to – I just wasn’t interested, but then decided to give it a chance. And – no surprise here, you have completely changed it for me! Now it’s one of my most favourite topics! I love the way Brian and Justin got closer, fell in love with each other, I love how Brian didn’t want to accept it for so long. The story with the brother is also interesting! Thank you, I really enjoyed it!
“Forbidden Love” was probably the first story of your stories that I’ve read. I was being distracted all the time, then decided I didn’t like it and stopped reading, After a few months, when I already knew who you are and that your stories always got me excited, I decided to try reading it again. And – I absolutely LOVED it! I didn’t want it to end, it’s so interesting and complicated. Michael pissed me off most of times, and I support Brian and Justin absolutely – not because they’re the main characters - for example, I admit that they are just insane in Deadly killers, though I love them anyway, can’t help it. They just loved to spend time together at first, so why breaking up with Michael and hurting him deeply if this relationship won’t lead them anywhere? But then everything turned more serious, they fell in love with each other… really, I don’t know what I’d if I were them. So I love how you described it, every single moment of it. The marriage, the accident – *everything*. Perfect!
“Sangre Azul” is the story I missed at first… as usual, your ideas are stunning! I was mad at Justin in the first part, he was *so* irritating! I couldn’t even imagine how Brian’ll end up falling in love with him. Stupid, spoiled brat… but then you started to show the real him, his many-sided complicated character, you explained the reasons for his behaviour, and I fell in love with him as well! I’m glad things with Craig cleared up a bit, though he was disgusting in most cases… but Brian is strong, and with Justin – even stronger. They’ll manage to build everything together, I’m sure of that.
“Just you and me” – oh, this one is on the top of my list too! I can’t count how many times I’ve read it. It captured my attention from the first few lines… the first Brian and Justin’s meeting – wow! I’ve never seen anything like that, Justin SO resembles Brian! Just as ballsy, arrogant, brutally honest. I didn’t think I would like the story with basically two Brians, but you as always made me fall in love with it from the very beginning:) Justin may behave like Kinney, but he is his own person, with his demons and feelings. I love every moment, all interactions between them, I laughed for maybe thousand of times! And Michael… oh boy, he REALLY pisses me off! I’m so happy every time Brian stood up to him, protecting Justin. I’m so excited that now you’re back, and you’ll probably finish this fantastic story! I can’t wait to see how they will sort all their problems out! Thank you a lot for this amazing thing!
“The Agony Of The Condemned” was the last of your stories which I’ve read. It’s just… *wow*, so bloody, cruel, hot and mysterious! I was intrigued with the very beginning, though at first I thought Brian was a crazy beast (and I totally love him this way!), while Justin – almost his victim. But then things began to clear up, to get complicated… I don’t know how you manage it, but once again I just couldn’t stop reading! Fantastic, amazing, incredible – I’m at a loss for words here! I’m not into riddles, so I can’t wait to see how Brian and Justin will find their peace (sort of it) again. And, I *hope* they will, they so deserve it.

I just think it so great that it's Cynthia who first find out about Justin. I think of her as Brian's real good friend and not only his assistant. She has his best interest.
It seems that Brian is happier without having the gang knowing all about his relationship with Justin.
It's annoye me that Debbie is angry with Brian when it's her dear Michael who "cheated" on Brian with Ben. Brian always was Brian, Debbie and Michael knew it from the beginning.

I don't know why on earth people think that it will/should be eventually a Jesse/Brian LOL.(maybe because Justin comes later). I just find the idea particularly -highly- disturbing.
I'm so glad that you didn't conceive your story that way. Jesse and Brian's friendship is what Michael and Brian's relationship should have been if Mickey was not in love and obsessed with his best friend. They are brothers and best friends and Brian needs a friend who is not expecting anything from him or judging him but just wants the best for him.

I could not understand why I wasn't familiar with this story and then I read further. I must have been turned off by the Michael/Brian relationship. I still decided to persevere and must say I love Jesse. I'm surprised it's not Jesse/Brian.

I must admit I was a bit trepidatious about reading this fic because of the B/M pairing ( no offense to all you brikey shippers out there) I just couldn't imagine those two getting married.

I like that Brian took Justin to his dads funeral and that he seems to be over Mikey. A very different type of Brian and Justin story. I like the way they get together outside of the influence of the gang and that Brian is more of an equal in the progression of their relationship,
But if I'm honest the Jesse character is a bit of a roadblock to my enjoyment of the story. I can't get a handle on his feelings or intent. One minute I think he's a friend to Brian, the next someone who wants to get Brian and Michaels back together at any expense, the next he seems to have a creepy attraction to Brian. I find myself sorta fast forwarding through any "Jesse parts of the story".
I am looking forward to Brian and Justin's trip to New York though and therest of the gang's reaction to Justin.

He's a friend to Brian that's why he wants to get the brunet back with Michael. Because it doesn't matter that we don't like Michael and Brian together in the story they were with one another. And Jesse knows that Brian loved Michael and was sad that Michael left him. As shocking as that is for us. But Brian is starting to move on and Jesse will see that and even try to get Brian to date other people. Lol. I don't think there is any attraction from Jesse's part towards Brian. ok so i was wrong about emmett and francis. misread francis wanting to buy him a drink.
but michael still wants to be with brian and not as friends. if ben were to stop seeing michael, michael would be wanting brian back. jesse is pushing alittle too much. eventually if things don't pick up with justin brian is going to do something just to please someone else and that will going back to michael to please jesse. i feel like always, if michael had to choose between brian and ben, ben would come in second. always. oh he'd probably still see justin because that's what brian does. screw who can without attachments.
and if brian and justin do become more involved then brian is going to have to deal with a very unhappy michael and jesse. is he willing to put up with all their crap?
Author's Response: He, he, he. Yeah Francis would never go after Emmett. He's in love with Jesse. In the upcoming chapters you will se more about the two of them. Michael doesn't realize that he wants to be with Brian just yet. But once he finds out that Brian is going out with Justin of course he's going to be very unhappy. He, he. But it serves him right for treating Brian like that in the first place. Yes, Jesse is pushing but is nothing bad and eventually he will see that is over between his brother and Brian. not liking jesse at all any longer. not really caring for the relationship of brian and justin either. it's too easy going. by the time they get around to their feelings for each other, brian will either be with michael again or jesse. francis seems to have a thing for emmett.

Ohh New York, the possibilities!!! So loving the progression that Brian and Justin are being led by you in this story. You keep me wanting more and more with each chapter.
Ben what a pompous ass, like Jessie is just going to be BFF's with him. When couples fight/break up there are always sides, even when you dont want there to be. Just a fact of life. Justin and Brian seem to be moving along quite splendidly without any hitch yet. This is a friendship I wanted for Brian in QAF one like Jesse's who just wants Brian to be happy even if it is not with who he initially anted him to be with. Love Jesse, Francis and Brian hanging out together and okay Ben isn't that much of a prick he just in a sticky situation with how he got together with Michael.

I loved the interaction between Brian and Justin. Brian getting irratated at the thought of Justin with someone else is so good because it means he wants Justin for himself and Justin saying hes only drawn Brian was so sweet. I loved it :)
I wish Brian would tell Michael to leave him alone. Hopefully Brian will realise that he wasnt in love with Michael, he just thought he was but now that hes met the love of his life he knows what being in love is.

This is really interesting. I'm intrigued by Brian making the same mistakes with Michael in this series that he made with Justin in the show. I'm curious to see if your Brian will learn anything about compromise in his second relationship... And if your Justin is really the person who can love Brian for who he is. One thing that has always bothered me in fanfic (this is not specifically directed at you, btw) is when people excuse Brian's shitty actions as being "who he is." I like when Justin loves Brian for who he is, in spite of how he acts. Looking forward to more!

Well that was eventful damn Ben ws acting like a prick. Michael could have at least explined why Brian punched Ben but as usual he was mum and Brian had to take the blame. This assertive version of Justin is the shit he knows what he wants and goes after it and Brian loves that. Good for them establishing what they want but Brian won't be receptive to falling in love as easily as Justin considering being hurt by Michael after changing his life for him. Love Jesse for being supportive and seeing that everyone are being pricks.
