It was perfect because this is the way Brian deals with drama and to make him all stepford would have ruined the credibility of the story

Chapter very powerful and emotional I understand that Brian goes away, times it's best to calm down sometimes it's worse! I love Emmett he's probably one of the few to know Brian well and he wants to protect Justin. Super chapter I love this story, thank you for being there every day!
Author's Response: Brian needed to walk away at that point; with the direction that the argument was heading, it would have gotten hurtful and they might have said things that they couldn't take back. Better to come back at it with a cooler head. Thanks for reading! :)

What an incredible chapter, such powerful emotions from al. All of the emotions are understandable because people who go through this are confused as to how to handle them. You handled writing this so perfectly to show each persons responses. I LOVED Emmett in this his strong side and the fact Brian found out it was Em’s handy work that caused Sap those bruises.

Brian and Justin are both stubborn highly intelligent proud men. It figures they'd clash about this and I actually understand why Brian walked away. I have walked away from fights like this in my life and sometimes it helps sometimes it makes it worse. I look forward to seeing them work this out and come out stronger together because of all of this. I am also anxiously awaiting the rest of the fall out from this for Linds Blake is the perfect one to get that started on the Avenue.

Author's Response: Brian was right to walk away in this instance; they were veering away from the topic and heading into territory that could have been very hurtful, and wasn't really about the situation at hand, but potential reprecussions that hadn't come into being. At that point, it's better to get out of the argument until they could come back with a cooler head. As for Lindsay's comeuppanc; well it might be a few chapters yet as we deal with the boys, but it's coming. :) Thanks for reading! :)

Glad Em talked to Brian and made him come to his senses. I expected Brian to be pissed and leave I wouldn't want it to be an easy fix right away lol When you have fights in relationships one person always don't want to talk about it when their in the heat of it you have to cool down first.
Author's Response: Em definitely pointed out a few homw truths; but let's not forget Justin's part in this. Brian is justified in his anger and hurt. Brian was right to walk away when he did before it could get so much more worse for the two because of the hurful things they might have said in the heat of the moment. Thanks for reading! :)
