At last Deb's got it right. I hope she can keep her promise, cause Carl will be on her case if she doesn't.
Author's Response: We can only hope that she's had some sense knocked into her, but the boys are definitely on guard for now. Bad habits are hard to break, and deb has spent years coddling Michael and blaming Brian for all fo his foibles. So, we'll see. Thanks for reading! :)

We all get frustrated sometimes, RL can be a real bitch sometiimes. Loved this chapter; Carl & Debbie's conversation and Brian overhearing Deb's honest feeling. It was all great!! Bill

This was brilliant, to get an inner look at Debs emotions and reactions to what I’d houng on while preparing dinner for Brian and Justin. I love Carl talking to her,willing her to understand what she did and is doing and how it’s affecting the boys . The bond showsso cleR eve Brian talks, it really hit my heart big time.

Glad you are back. This chapter is really showing that Deb finally is starting to realize that even though Michael is her son (and all mothers get that protective streak) she has to start making the right choices if she wants Brian & Justin to be in her life. Michael is an idiot and it isn't all because of her coddling him. He just thinks it is right to have everything. And, thanks for the St. Paddy's day info. Really had me laughing about the no drinking for Brian. Getting an Irishman to not drink on St. Patty's Day shows just how much Brian has changed and how much he loves his Sunshine & Sunbeam !!!! Great ideas and writing.
Author's Response: Hopefully Deb will mend her ways before she does irrevokable damage to her relationship with Brian and Justin. I do feel that her heart is in the right place most of the time, but she really does need to pay better attention to some of the things she says and does. And poor Brian, Justin so has him wrapped around his little finger. Thanks for reading!
