If only Deb could have given mikey the tough love she gave Brian maybe she would have raised a man instead of a 40 year old spoiled infant.
Author's Response: I never understood the way Deb interacted with Micahel. Yeah, she was a single mother, but he wasn't lacking in an adult male influence - he had Vic. My mother was a single mom, adn letme tell you, we sure as hell did not get coddled the way he did. It's just ridiculous. Thanks for reading! :)

Awww. How nice to see Brian and Deb talking. I feel sorry for Brian having to get his Sunshine some lemon bars. Mine wouldn't have done it for me.
Author's Response: Lucky for Brian, they were at the Loft , so it wasn't as bad of a journey. Of course, he may have rethought his willingness to do it when he came home and found Justin sound asleep. lol! Thanks!

OMG I loved this interaction between Brian and Debbie it warmed my heart so much. Brian needs a mother’s love so much and he has it in he. She has right, he does look after Justin very well.
Brilliant work xx
Author's Response: I loved this moment too. It wasn't even planned, which was the best part. It just happened, surprising even me. :)

Wait til Justin really starts showing! lol Brian has no idea about those pain in the ass last 2 miserable months!!!
Author's Response: He is definitely in for a rude awakening thing. And I'm cerntain during those months, Justin's mantra from the Smut-mas collection willbecome his mantra!

Hi, Ashita! I'm glad it went this way, too. This was lovely! I adored the scenes on the show with Deb and Brian. Thank God she was there to help and support him as a mother should. I thought this chapter was wonderful!
By the way, I noticed there is a blue ribbon awarded on your story. Typically, they are not awarded until a story is complete, so I'm not sure how it got there. But it is certainly worthy of one, so we will leave it on there. a86;I suspect it may be our developers doing some testing. But this wonderful stories really deserves one.
As always, I will be looking forward to the next part. Thank you again for posting your story on here. I am really enjoying it. ~Kim
Author's Response: Thank you; I too liked the Deb and Brian moments and felt there was not enough of them. I'll admit I hadn't even noticed the ribbon until you mentioned it. But thanks nonetheless! Thanks always for the comments and reading! I do appreciate it! :)

I loved this chapter as well even though Deb often made wrong choices she did come from a place of love most of the time. Seeing her worry about Justin and recognise Brian’s care is lovely
Author's Response: Yes she did; I liked Deb for the most part, the notable exception being when she got on Brian's case for Michael braking up with David. Or really any time she blamed Brian for Michael's issues. While Brian certainly wasn't a saint, and may have encouraged the co-denpency to a degree, last I looked, Michael was a fucking adult and therfore in charge of his own fate.

Great Mother-Son moment. I like Deb a lot in this story. Terrific update! Bill
Author's Response: Thank you! Deb will for the most part remain supportive, and when she does have, as another reviwer once put it, 'asshole' moments, it will because she doesn't have all the information. I, for the most part, liked Deb; but she does have a blind spot when it comes to Micahel and Brian, so that will cause issues at times.
