Just finished reading the latest chapter and I'm still not feeling them being together as nothing happened. Maybe because they never had the talk. I read that anonymous review and I agree with it. I would also add that Brian that night with Evan in the hotel room stood up and took of his robe and said okay but this will only happen once. He was well in control of what he was doing and at that moment wasn't being pressured by Evan so how can he say he was curious? And do it three times to boot? And on many occasions in the story Evan said you were curious, you had feelings for me, you were falling for me and even in the taxi back from Florida Evan said you were falling for me after Brian told him that Justin probably thinks that I love you which wasn't true on Brian part. But why then every time Evan brought it up didn't Brian say no, I never loved you and I never was falling for you. We know that Brian told Justin that Evan was the first person he felt something for but that could of been only idealized him because he was a mentor of sorts and got a feeling of being needed and wanted by his boss which made him feel special so he had felt something for. Some feelings which he was to young to understand that it was only that he felt a little more then friendship but never love. He was never falling for Evan. But Brian should of told Evan that instead if never answering him when he made that sentence.
I hope you can answer. Love Baby Purry
Thanks
Author's Response:
Hey, Carol/Shelby/WHATEVER your name is (considering you don't have the guts to sign in under one name to leave your reviews). Like I said before. I will add a chapter in The Devil's Snare about their talk. I need a lot of time to write that one since it's such a pivotal point in their relationship. I explained Brian's motives, and especially Evan's, quite clearly in the side-story (chapter 4, if I'm not mistaken).
I referred from answering not signed-in reviews in the past, not knowing if the person ever checked what I replied, and besides, I don't exactly have time to answer everyone. I barely have time to write, which actually is the only escape I have. And to have various people dissing on my favorite past time activity...is very upsetting.
I will delete such comments in the future, because they are not what I need. I'm tired of explaining the same thing (and I have a feeling I've explained to YOU this a lot in the past, considering you are one of the people who kept leaving me such comments to clarify everything). I bet no one would dare to demand such things from a published author.
With this being said, I hope not to have to see to such comments in the future...because they'll be deleted.
