I read this wonderful story in 2 shots and I'm sorry I didn't comment each chapter.
I was too eager to see where you were leading them. Very interesting arc (Brian sinking so low and the cancer being there without being officially found).
Some fun (Gardner with the wine, Gus with the potatoes), lots of "couples" moments with B&J, Michael really supportive of Justin (for once) and really Brian's best friend (for once as well).
Brian coming to his senses by his own and doing what has become obvious to him: making THE move towards Justin.

I really enjoyed your story Kristine. You took the characters on a believable path and it was a pleasure to read such a fic. Failure is not a commun occurence concerning Brian, and the evolution of the characters here is so well done. I will be looking forward to more from you! Thank your for this wonderful story :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the story - I was so afraid while I wrote it that people would think it was stupid or unbelievable (especially because Brian was being put into situations he's never had to deal with before). I was so intrigued by the concept of Brian not being immediately successful with Kinnetik. There aren't too many of this type of Fic around. There are plenty with an unsuccessful Justin, and Brian rushing in to rescue him, but not many with a strong Justin to the rescue... it was interesting to see how the boys would fair with the positions reversed. You did a great job!
Author's Response: You know that's actually one of the reasons I wanted to write this. I've read so many fics - every one I could get my hands on - and I just got a little sick of Justin always being the one needing to be rescued. I'm glad you enjoyed the role-reversal and thanks for letting me know!! :)

I dont think this was meant to make me laugh, but “By the way…” Brian said slowly after he broke away. “I had testicular cancer.” had me cracking up. I could just see Brian saying it and Justin pulling back from him all "WHAT THE FUCK?"

And actually, it was supposed to make you laugh lol. I know cancer isn't exactly a laughing matter, but I never intended for it to play a large role in this fic so I wanted to bring closure to that aspect of Brian's life without playing into too much of the drama.

<3 Delightful ending! Bea came to appreciate Justin and left the to-be-christened Britin to him. The boys are reunited, engaged, and can proceed with their favorite games. ;)
