A bit up an upswing with Beatrice which is a great segue from one holiday to the next. But, methinks, there will be angst ahead with Brian's cancer. :(
Author's Response: Don't worry too much about Brian's cancer. I never wanted it to play a big role in the story and so it'll be wrapped up quickly. Perhaps not the best way to handle, but this is a relationship fic, not a cancer one. I'm hoping I cover it well though.

God, there is so much I just really bloody adore in this story, Brian and Justin visiting back home, Brian's relationship with Gus - how you stripping Brian of all the things that were so important to him is helping mould him in to this really lovely guy. I love how sweet he's being to Justin. Oh and referring to them as a team, I feel so proud of how far Brian has come in this story.
Author's Response: Thanks! I've always felt that the show underplayed a lot of the important ways Brian's supports those he cares about - and who does he care about more than Justin and Gud? No one! lol

Very much still enjoying your story, Kristine. :) I like how they are continuing to work as a team, and how you show their love, but also the stress and tension, that would go with their situation. Like the stronger Justin here as well. Just the right mixture of sweetness and angst. Thank you for writing and posting this story. I will be looking forward to more of this. ~Kim
Author's Response: Oh wow thanks! It's so great to hear that from you. I'm glad the balance is good too, I knew that it was getting a little angsty for some people so I figured I'd throw in a bit of fluff. I hope that as it begins to wrap up you continue to enjoy it. :)

Nice to see updates to this story... happy to see that the boys seem to be winning over Beatrice, at least a little bit. Very worried about Brian's health... I hope he sees a Dr soon.
Already looking forward to the next update.
Author's Response: Yeah I finally got back to a good flow of writing - oddly enough I get to do most of it at work thanks to a promotion that came with a lot more free time (weird huh?) And yes, the more time they spend at the manor the more she sees that maybe they aren't so different. Thank you!

The holidays are here and things could have been worse. I'm glad it wasn't. It was nice that Brian got to spend time with Gus. Will be waiting for more to see what else you have planned.
