Oh, your Gus is precious. It's hard for Alex to be mean and sarcastic when the person she is aiming it at totally doesn't understand and continues to think she is awesome at every turn. LOL. Gus is like her very own cheering section - and even SHE knows he cant fake it.
Brian teaching his dad about the meaning of marriage and why someone would want to do it is... surreal. And very sweet.
I hope you update this story again soon. You write fantastically long chapters.
Author's Response: Hi, Michelle - Thank you for all the wonderful comments on this story; this means so much to me, and it is very motivating for me as a writer. And yes, the chapters ARE long - LOL! I glad you like them. I'm enjoying writing the 'idol worship' of Alex by Gus; it IS hard to be mad at someone like that.;) I should be updating this soon. I'm working on a new story that has multiple chapter that was supposed to be for the fan fiction summer challenge that I didn't have done in time. As soon as I get that done, I will definitely be working on this one.

That scene with Brian and Fin surreptitiously watching Justin and Tony was my favorite. I also loved the argument Brian gave Fin for marriage.

Dang Kim I had forgotten how much I truly love this story. Everyone is so well written and I especially love Fin and Tony they are amazing OC's. Love the progress with Alex and I do so hope Justin can help her make something of her talent as she reminds me of him quite a bit now. Loved Alex and Gus spending time together if nothing else I know that little boy will be good for her too. Can't wait for more as usual my friend.

But I WILL get it done. Still have a ways to go yet, though I am thrilled that you enjoy Fin and Tony's relationship; out of all the OC's that I have created, these are probably my two favorites (well, Tricky is my favorite non-human OC - ha!).

Tell lindc she just may get her wish, but it would be a while yet.;) I do hope you are doing well. When I went to NYC this past July, I immediately thought of you at the fountain in Central Park.;) That park is amazing. Got to see a lot more of it this time with my nephew, and one of my photos I tweeted was even favorited by the Central Park twitter account. I was so excited - ha! It was a shot of the arches in front of the fountain, with people silhouetted inside.;)

Hey Kim! I've got to tell you, this chapter touched me in a very personal way. I can relate to both Alex and Emmett in the respect that I know what it's like to be a foster child. As for Fin and Tony, I think the wise father should listen to his son ;)
