I can't believe you updated weeks ago and I totally missed it. silly me!
Anyway great great great chapter. I really love how Gus is a main character in your story and I can't wait for him to realize that Tristan likes him. Well, I guess Brian, Justin and Gus will be hurting like crazy when Gus knows the truth about his best friend's brother. Thank you :)
Author's Response: Hi, Sweetie! I'm glad you realized you hadn't read this chapter and got caught up.:) Michal and I thank you for reading and for the support with your comments.:) Yes, it would certainly avoid a big mess if Gus would just turn his focus toward what is right in front of him. Sigh...silly boy. We all know who will wind up with whom eventually. But you're right; in the meantime, I see a world of pain heading our way. But you know how much I enjoy the angst!
Thanks again for reading and for the comments, my friend. Michal and I really appreciate that. We should be able to get this updated soon; in the meantime, I'm heading over to "Parent Trap" to finish up the next chapter.;) *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

Ah, that was a great chapter, just like always! Very well thought-of and full of tiny details that make the story whole and interesting, evoking the desire to read thoroughly and analyze every moment.
I love how Gus can easily read Brian and see right through him. I laughed when he remembered Brian’s excuse for always staying up late when he isn’t at home – ‘lots of work to do’. Yeah, right! Brian just loves his son so much that he can’t even sleep without being entirely sure he is okay… this is so sweet, I adore those moments! And the way Brian felt guilty later, like he was a kid caught by a parent! The dynamics between him and Gus is fantastic! I’m also still very fond of Gus/Tristan – very beautiful couple, in every way possible; I hope Tristan will be there for Gus when he’ll need him – and I think it’s going to happen pretty soon. Brian and Justin are incredible together, their phone conversation was so overwhelming. I love seeing the tender side of Brian, feeling how much Justin affects him. He is so in love, and you describe it so realistically, so beautifully! I always can’t help smiling watching what the two of them do to each other. I can’t imagine what is waiting for them later, though… the Big Day finally came, so the truth must be revealed soon. It’ll be such a shock, specifically after everything Brian, Justin and Gus experienced together.
Poor Kayla, I know what public humiliation is, and how infuriating it must feel when you didn’t do anything, but everyone blames you only because of some stupid rumors. At least she is lucky to have such friend like Gus - and the way Justin helped was so unusual and hilarious! I even envy her a little, just like Gus :) Who can blame him for falling for Justin – the boy is truly remarkable, you made him a real Sunshine. I’d love him myself if he wasn’t already taken by Brian. Owen is seriously playing on my nerves, I wonder when he’ll get what he deserves. I hate this kind of people, it’s almost impossible to deal with them.
The humour in this story is great – I laughed so much when Justin called Brian Juliet :) I can only imagine his face when he heard it! But when he agreed to be Romeo, I thought my heart will stop. It was completely unexpected, but oh-so-great! I can’t believe how much he has changed, especially remembering the first chapter. Brian was softer than in canon, but cold and sharp with his tricks - Justin immediately became an exception, even though he obviously didn’t think he could achieve so much.
Great chapter – so interesting and so well-thought-out, I enjoyed every moment of it! Thank you, I can’t wait for more! I the closer angst comes, the more nervous and excited I get!
By the way, Michal, I wanted to ask – you have some banners with titles on your page, so I was wondering, are they stories? I searched for ‘The slap’, ‘I’ll bring you back’ and others, and I haven’t found anything. There are some of your stories there too, so maybe those banners are your plans on some future projects?
Author's Response: Hi, Dear! Always such a treat to read your comments! Thank you for reading this latest chapter and for all the wonderful feedback.:) It is fun to write the banter that goes back and forth between the two men, although I need to credit Michal for the "Romeo and Juliet" part; that was her idea. And yes, Brian is falling deeper and deeper for Justin, which will definitely leave him unprepared for what is soon about to happen. And then the real dilemma will begin: what will he do and who will he choose? No matter who he chooses - Justin or his son - both he and the other person will be greatly hurt.
And yes, Owen is a big problem that won't easily go away; things will get worse regarding him before they get better, I'm afraid. We will get this story updated just as soon as possible. We're so happy that you like it!
Michal wanted me to tell you that the banners you saw ARE for upcoming stories. The next one she will be writing is the one entitled "I'll bring you back," and from what she's told me it sounds like a very exciting story! Can't wait to see her write that one.
Thank you again for all the comments! We both greatly appreciate that, and look forward to future feedback from you.:) *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

the Shakesperian-istic-isms?? continues! Me likey!
And the end...Including Owen....Dum dum DUMMMMM!!! how dramatique!!Can't wait 4 more!!
Author's Response: I should have guessed that chapter title alone would have gotten your attention.;) And don't start complaining about cliffhangers; seems like you've imbibed in writing quite a few of your own lately, Mister! LOL! I'm glad you liked the slight bend toward literature in this chapter; something tells me that Owen is a fighter and not a poet, though - ha! Thanks for reading and for the comments, Jon. Both Michal and I are grateful to you for that. We'll get this updated just as soon as possible.:) *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

BB wants to know if you are on meds for your depression. He says to feel better. His dad has had bouts of depression for a long time so he understands somewhat you are going through. lol
Author's Response:
Tell Brian thank you. No, I did try some meds several years ago, along with a year of psychotherapy, but none of it seemed to help me. I hate being this way sometimes, but I've kind of decided it's about as good as it's going to get. Sigh...sorry to be such a downer. I get into these funks from time to time, and I guess this is one of them. Thank you all for your concern, though; that means the world to me. *Hugs* ~Kim

I know how you feel lonely and all. Whenever I feel that low down I watch QAF again. Just did that last week. It always makes me feel better except for season 5. So get up girl make yourself something delish to eat, go for a walk, Take 5 deep breaths and look forward to spring-it is just around the corner. Just remember we are here for you as we all admire your tenacity and writing chops. All of us peeps love you and want you to be writing here ad infiitum. lol from all yourPEEPS.
Author's Response: Thanks, lindc. I wish I could say that spring is welcoming to me, but having suffered from depression for years - along with other personal issues regarding self-esteem - it doesn't really help. I wish I COULD feel happy about it, believe me. Thank you for your concern, though. Sometimes I just wish I could crawl into a hole and stay there and not come out again (kind of like a groundhog, I guess). Okay, sorry! Enough pity party for me. Some writers will do anything for more reviews, huh?- ha! Back to trying to update my story now.:) You are so special to me for caring. Thank you. ~Kim

I am so sorry I forgot to wish you happy birthday. I put this on both sites so you would see my better late than never birthday greeting. We are all sorry we forgot. Please forgive us. I am going so stop having them as Brian says they are nothing to be celebrated just our accomplishments. Ha!! lol
Author's Response: Hi, Sweetie. Is that YOUR Brian or Justin's Brian you're quoting? LOL! I remembered Brian telling Justin that on the show, but I think he eventually learned to regret that philosophy. Thank you for the belated birthday greetings, but you all had no idea it was my birthday so there is certainly nothing to forgive. I'm actually glad you posted it over here, too, though, because that's one thing I hate about FF.net; you can't respond to anonymous reviews like you can over here, so this gave me a chance to thank you for your warm wishes. And I guess I know what Brian Kinney meant about not celebrating them anymore. Every year I think I feel the 'march of time' at an even more pronounced rate, and maybe it's just because I'm in a melancholy mood at the moment, but honestly? At the risk of invoking a pity party, my life is not much worth celebrating. It can be pretty damn lonely most of the time, actually. I suppose that is why I write fan fiction - to transport myself into another place and time and pretend that I'm someone else. (Ugh - sorry for the downer).
Thank you again for all your support; you probably will never know how much that means to me. Tell everyone that I send my love out to them. And tell Lee that I really AM working on his story; it's been a struggle this time for some reason, but I have about half of it written, and it's slowly coming together. Thanks again, lindc. *Hugs* ~Kim

Justin impossibly went up on the cool meter with that motorcycle stunt. And Justin just saved Kayla’s a** but she’s thinking about hooking Gus up with her brother. Ungrateful, LOL!
I’m still hoping everything will be revealed soon. The suspense is killing me.
Author's Response: Hi, Sandra! LOL, I hadn't really thought about it that way; I suspect that Kayla feels an undercurrent between her brother and Tristan, but I could see how you might think of it as a betrayal of some sort. Of course, we all know eventually who will wind up with whom (that's quite a ways out, though). And you can thank Michal for the idea about the bike trick; I think that would have certainly gotten everyone's attention at school! I don't think the Justin in this story does anything half-assed (excuse my French), so my co-writer's idea seemed quite in character with him in this chapter.
The great reveal is coming up soon; thank you for reading and for the comments, my friend; Michal and I greatly appreciate that. *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

OMG!!! Kim!!! I was laughing so much when Justin said these words to Brian:
"So I decided to just wait until my Juliet came to the window instead."
and these exchanged of words....
"Yeah, but I was thinking - why don't we take a ride on my bike?"
"You mean, you, me, and my cock wedged up against your ass?"
Hahaha! Your stories always make my day enjoyable even I am so tied up at work.
I love breaktimes!!! :):):)
More please!!!
{{{Hugs}}}
Author's Response: Hi, Cindy - thank you for reading this latest chapter, and for your comments! But in all fairness, I can't take credit for that particular idea or for the lines; they actually came from my co-writer, Michal, who thought up the story idea. She writes the chapters and then I add more detail to them afterward, and occasionally I offer some ideas on perhaps small changes to make. But if it wasn't for her idea, none of this would have been possible, so I want to make sure everyone is aware of that.:) She prefers for me to answer the responses, too, so that is why I normally answer for both of us.:)
Thank you again for the wonderful feedback and for the support, Cindy! I hope you continue to enjoy our story; your comments are greatly appreciated. *Hugs* ~Michal (StarShine-Green) and Kim (Predec2)

Hello again. Sorry I haven't been reviewing here. I am holding my own now. I am wishing I can go back to work in some capacity. I am very bored being at home with little to do. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts while I was down. The peeps have been wonderful to me. I appreciate them so much. It takes something like this to realize who your friends are and how much they are there for you during a crisis. Lee has been a god-send. He takes me to the market, doctors and any where else I have to go. Such a dear. Lindc cleans and helps me with heavy chores. Just thought I would give you an update on my return from what could have been worse than it was. Anyway---on to this story. It is really a gem. In my youth I had a bike, one of my prized posessions-my mother wasn't too pleased with me-but she got used to it. So freeing to the soul. I can't wait to see how all this is going to come to fruition. talk to you later.
Author's Response: Hi, Nonie! I was so thrilled to hear from you, my friend! And while I was very sorry to hear what had happened, you just make me realize once more what special friends you have. They all sound like such a comfort and support to you. I do hope one day I can meet all of you. I will definitely be in the LA area this June for the con if you are anywhere near there and would like to do that. But if not, or if you prefer to stay in the background, I understand and respect your wishes.:)
I am grateful to you, Lee, Brian, and lindc especially for your ongoing support of my stories; that, and the fact that you are willing to share a part of your world with me, makes me feel very special, just like all of you are.:)
As for this story, I'm glad you're enjoying it and it brings back some happy memories for you. I can't really take credit for the story idea, though; that came from Michal (StarShine-Green), my co-writer, who asked me to help her flesh the story out more. She writes the chapters and sends them to me and then I write more detail into them and occasionally offer some suggestions for the plot. But without her idea, I would have the pleasure of helping to co-write this one, so I will be sure to let Michal know that you are enjoyng it. She is the main driver behind this entire story.
Thank you again for the kind words, Nonie. Please stay in touch as you are able to, and I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. *Hugs* ~Kim (and Michal)

I love the image of Justin and Brian riding a motorbike together, especially with Justin in charge. And I love how smitten (because smitten is a great word) Brian is with Justin in general. So I'm really hoping that the next chapter/one after that will include the confrontation and everyone finding out about everything?
Author's Response: Hi, Nikki! Thank you for reading and for the comments, Sweetie; Michal and I appreciate your support. Michal is kind of the 'driver' here, since it was her idea, so while I think the game is coming up in the next chapter, I'm not sure if that will be leading to the 'great epiphany,' at least not just yet. But I know you - and the other readers, undoubtedly - are getting anxious for the big reveal, and it does promise to definitely bring on the angst. So we'll see what we can do.;) Thank you for following the story, though, and for bearing with us in the meantime. We promise to get this updated just as soon as possible. *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

Marvelous!
Author's Response: Hi, Vonnie, my dear! So glad to see you reading along on this one.:) B and J are so 'smitten' with each other; what a shame that their idyllic romance is about to come crashing down on them, along with Gus. Obviously, there's going to be a lot of shocked faces before too long. Let's hope that the younger boys can figure out their own attraction to each other before too long. I fear there's some heartache coming up first, though. Thanks so much for reading and for the comments, Vonnie; Michal and I appreciate that very much. *Hugs* ~Kim

Romeo and Juliet- well that was sweet ;) Can't wait to see what happens next
:)
Author's Response: Thanks, Sylvia! Glad that you enjoyed this latest chapter. I've actually toyed with the idea of doing an historical-type story for the boys based on Shakespeare's play; may still do that at some point. Michal and I will get this updated as soon as possible. Thanks again for reading and for taking the time to comment; we both really appreciate that. *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

Amazing chapter I am sad that Gus is in for a rude awakening soon though. Facebook has a lot to answer for these days I was only reading today about a young girl who killed herself because of cyber bullying
Author's Response: Hi, Chris - yes, it's amazing (and sad) how hurtful words can be - sometimes worse than the physical pain. It can create scars that are longlasting and just as cruel. Thank you for reading this chapter and for the comments, my friend. Yes, there are going to be some very shocked individuals coming up soon. I'm going to enjoy helping Michal to get this resolved eventually, but you know how much I love the angst in the meantime.;) Michal and I thank you for all the support! And we'll get this updated again as quickly as we can. *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

Hey girl! This story is becoming better and better. Brian on a bike is a gas. I guess someone knows Gale is a bike lover in rl. So nice to see something from you two. Michel has a wonderful sense of adventure with these boys doesn't she? You two collaborate very well. lol
Author's Response: Hi, dear friend! So good to hear from you.:) Can you imagine how sexy Brian would be atop a bike? I wouldn't complain at all if I had to lean back against that chest and, uh, all the other body parts.;) Thank you for reading and for the lovely comments; I'm having a lot of fun helping to write this story based on Michal's initial idea, and we both appreciate the support. Tell everyone I said hello and tell Nonie, especially, that I'm continuing to keep her in my thoughts and prayers. I hope Lee's 'baby' is doing better now, too.;) Take care and keep in touch! *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim

So Kayla does suspect that Tristan has feelings for Gus. I still say he should give Tristan a chance, and I'm glad that Kayla chose not to say anything until she was sure about the situation. She and her brother definitely need to have a little talk.
Looks like we're getting closer to game time and closer to watching the shit hit the fan.
Update soon please~JP
Author's Response: Hi, Tamara! So glad to see you still following this story and enjoying it.:) Michal and I thank you for reading and for the comments. Yes, hopefully we can steer these two boys together, but at the moment Gus has stars in his eyes over Justin, so I fear it will not be that easy to resolve. Things are going to hit the fan first, and Brian and Justin's relationship, which has seemed to be going so well, is soon going to hit some rocky spots. But you know how much I adore angst.;) We'll get this updated just as soon as possible. Thanks again for all the support, Tamara. *Hugs* ~Michal and Kim
