Sorry I'm late in reviewing, Kim! I liked your take on the Taylors. As much as I hate Craig, it was kind of refreshing to see him not being a complete douche. Jared is a spoiled brat! I'm glad Jennifer laid down the law with them both.
Hmmm...will Brian be assisting Justin in his training? A little horse-play perhaps? God, that was cheesy...
Thanks for your kind message about the LJ pencil! *hugs*
Author's Response: Hi, Megan! Thank YOU for thinking of me and being so wonderful about always reading and reviewing; there are so many great authors and new stories on here now; I am very honored, therefore, that you have chosen to follow mine.:) I liked the 'horseplay' comment, actually - ha! And you will be happy to know that the boys WILL be meeting up again in the next chapter at the Taylors' horse track while Justin is practicing for his race coming up. And you won't believe how Brian gets his attention this time! As for training, you're kind of on the right track there (pardon the pun - LOL!), but you might be surprised who will be training whom....
Thank you again for being so supportive of my stories, Megan.:) I'm working on the next part right now - hope to get it posted in the next day or so. It's already up to 10,000 words, so it will be a nice, long one, too:) *Hugs* ~Kim

Mmmmm. Fantasies of Brian and Justin in the stables lying on a pile of horse blankets in the hay. Please say that's where this is heading. Please! TAG
Author's Response: Well, I do see some 'rolls in the hay' coming up, but I'm not sure it will be on horse blankets. Yummy thought, though. I have to build up to their own unique version of 'horse play' first, though (wink, wink). Not to fear - we're heading in that direction eventually; hope I don't disappoint when the time arrives. Thanks for reading and for the comments, Tag; I'm very appreciative. I'm working on the next part right now - should have it up very soon. *hugs* ~Kim

Great chapter Kim.
Love how Jennifer stood up against Craig. Aggrrr Jared ... you lazy-bones !!
Want an update really fast, after reading the end notes.
Sorry for my short and not so funny reviews. Maybe I'm reading too much stories at ones. * rolls eyes *
* hugs *
Author's Response: That's okay, although I do miss the 'happy dance' I used to see; you have been a busy reader, haven't you? But that's why I like you, because you are so good about reviewing:) Thanks for the feedback; I'm working on the next part right now:) *Hugs* ~Kim

Yay, I am so happy to see an update on this as it is my favourite fiction that you are writing and it gets me through the one that has me tearing my hair out. It doesn’t look like the men get together for the next few chapters but as long as they are obsessing over each other then all is well. I would like to see Justin thrown but Headstrong and Justin are only shaken not badly hurt and Brian runs to him and show a PDA for all to see especially Jared and Craig. Maybe it could just be a training mishap. Okay I think I’m the one that’s obsessing. Go Jennifer I hope she is strong enough to make sure Justin gets to the college he wants wherever that maybe. Craig OMG so cute, I love you too, this is so not the Craig we know in so many stories, and it’s a nice change. Thanks for the update.
Cheers
Author's Response: Hi, my friend! Thanks for all those thoughtful comments. I'm actually flattered that you're coming up with story ideas for this; it shows me that you're very interested in the story, so I thank you for that. Having Justin in a mishap is an idea, although I would probably be too afraid that it would sound too much like Kaylee's accident in my other story and I don't want to sound repetitious. Let me just say that Brian will be engaging in certain ways coming up to get Justin's attention whether he wants to give it to him or not. It will be a little hard to ignore him shortly (wink, wink). And the you-know-what is about to hit the fan when Brian discovers something on the Walker farm and Will flies into a rage as a result (that is in the next chapter, as a matter of fact). And I think I just might see Emmett coming for a visit. (How's that for a big teaser?.
Thank you so much for reading and for the lovely feedback! BTW - Not sure if one of MY stories is tearing your hair out or one of yours - ha! Heaven knows I have felt that way about my own writing sometimes!! Could it be "Parent Trap," though, by chance? I know even I'm getting anxious to smack some sense into both boys in THAT story!
Anyway, thanks again, Flossee; I really appreciate it. *Hugs* ~Kim

Now I'm worried about Brian and his drug problem, I think maybe Justin is going to be nothing but trouble for him. Oh sure those lips sounds nice but is it worth getting deep into drugs, that shit will mess you up! I think maybe if a well plotted farming accident or two happen and the evil farm men die the women can start a nice little co-op, Jen can get her honey operation going, I'll let Vic live, no far he's been OK he can handle the horses. Sarah will be baking wonderful things to sell in the honey pot bakery, and Brian will be the drawing card to lure the tourist in. He can walk around doing chores with his shirt off dripping in man sweat. Maybe Justin can live, of course he'll have to be sent away to art school, we can't have him bothering Brian, not at this fragile stage of his treatment/rehab. Now I just can't decided if a quaint family burial plot in the far corner of the farm would be nice or if a cremation and scattering of the ashes would be best. I'm leaning toward the burial, a nice old fence around it with some vines growing along the top rail. Craig's stone cracked and tipped over of course. Dale's old dog would love to walk up there in the late afternoon and dig around a bit and chase bunnies. Then when Headstrong dies, in a race- broken leg he'll be laid to rest near the family plot under a large oak tree....
I did enjoy this chapter, I'm so glad Jen is standing up for Justin and willing to kick Jared of the nest. It's time he grows up. I loved the stars and moon in Justin's room. Back when Tadhg had his own bedroom I added those on his ceiling so he could sleep under star light, well if he had ever slept in his own room at night. He really only used as a place to keep his toys. I guess not many dogs get their own bedroom.
Part 2 sounds very interesting, I'm already picturing the gruesome death details, I can't wait to see how close you get to my ideas. Does it have anything to do with a silo and a long rope, or a hay baler? Just food for thought. Lori
Author's Response: Oh, Lori, you always make me laugh out loud at your comments, which is a distinct testimonal to your creativity and wit Although you forgot to mention that Dale's old dog would also need to go up to Craig's headstone and hike his leg to piss on it - I think that would be a fitting, fond tribute to his character, don't you? I think a hay baler would be a little too gruesome for even Craig, though. LOL! Funny you would mention the 'man sweat,' because you DID hit that one on the mark a little. You'll see coming up. I think Brian's going to have to pull out every trick in the book to get Justin all hot and bothered over him (wink, wink).
So Tadhg had his own bedroom? Lucky pooch!! Me thinks that Mama might spoil him just a bit, but that's okay; I would do the same thing. Glad you liked the stars and moon on the ceiling - it sounded like something our little blond daydreamer might engage in. Thanks for all the unique comments, Lori - I still say you should be writing one of these - I can only imagine where that story would take us, though! LOL! *Hugs* ~Kim

Oh, what a wonderful chapter! I am SO glad Jennifer finally stood up for Justin and made Craig see how unfair he was being. I hope that Craig will take this to hart and start treating both boys equally.
Can't wait for part 2!
Cheers,
Vin
Author's Response: Hi, Vin! Yes, I sound like a broken record a la "Parent Trap." I have at least the same amount already written to post, but I'm not quite where I want it to be yet, so I'll be working on it a little more before I post it. And I do see a certain change coming in Craig's attitude just a bit (although I don't think Jared is going to be happy with that; his 'unhappiness' may manifest itself in some not-so-pleasant ways coming up). And I think Emmett's about to make an appearance! I love that character!
Anyway, thanks so much for the comments, dear friend, I really do appreciate that. I hope you take a small writing break to relax a little bit from your own hectic writing schedule! Take care and tell your mother I said hello.:) Hope to see her again in the future at another show - or maybe the con next summer?? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for both!! *Hugs* ~Kim

Yeah!! my story makes an appearance. I have been waiting. I'm glad she finally snapped and stood up for Justin. Jared needs a head slap-so spoiled while Justin takes all the brunt. Not fair, but that's the way some families are. Good chapter.
Author's Response: Hi, Kym! So glad to hear from you. I'm working on the next part right now - have about 5,500 words of it written, but I'm not nearly where I want to be yet. Brian's about to discover how Dale died, and I don't think his uncle will be too happy when it dredges up some painful memories, but it will be necessary to help him heal. Not much B and J action in this part, but it's coming up in the next one. Although I think a certain blond will still be resisting a certain 'stallion' and we're not talking about his race horse, either - ha! Thanks so much for reading and for your comments, Kym; I appreciate that very much. The next part will be posted before I move onto the next WIP. *hugs* ~Kim

Ooooohhh, I love secrets and surprises!!!!! It's about time Jared got a verbal ass whooping, Justin works hard enough for the both of them and as the eldest child he needs to be more responsible.
Can't wait for the next chapter JP
Author's Response: Thank you, Sweetheart, for reading and for the lovely comments! I think it's time the events regarding Dale's death be divulged. I will be posting the next part in the next few days - it's actually longer than this one already (why does that sound familiar? LOL!). Thanks again for the support! *hugs* ~Kim

Great chapter. Looking forward in what happens next with Brian and Justin.
Author's Response: Thank you, Lynn! I had to (once more) break up a long chapter into more than one part. I should have the next one up in the next day or so (it's already longer than this part, actually - ack!). Thank you for reading and for taking the time to comment; I really appreciate that! *Hugs* ~Kim
