OMG I love Fin O'Connor!  That was pure genious!  They didn't know what hit them by the time he was finished.

Poor Adam and Stockwell.  Things just did not go their way.  Boo Hoo

LOL @ Brian in the WalMart parking lot.  And Justin has him completely whipped!  Brian knows it too.

Glad each couple got some alone time.  They needed it after they day they'd had.

Another good one!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  Well, I had to find somewhere that would accomodate the RV - LOL!  It kind of reminds of when Brian had to accompany Justin to the Goodwill in "Roughing It."  I see Fin as a very strong individual, just like Brian, but someone who is vulnerable when it comes to his son.  That will come to the forefront soon when Adam makes an unexpected move (don't want to spoil it for you.)  Thanks again for all the wonderful comments, Nita; I appreciate that so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Wow, I guess after all that, the boys need stress relief! ;) I guess we really know how sexually open Brian is; if I ever heard my parents having sex, I'd be scared for life!! Poor Fin, this is going to be a long campaign. And I'm waiting for Adam to slip up somewhere and tip off what he's doing.

Riviting, darling, as always!

Author's Response:

Hi, Megan Rose!  Yes, this story is going to have so many threads woven into it, it promises to be a long one!  Thanks as always for taking the time to leave me your thoughts.  I suppose only someone as open about his sexuality as Brian would be comfortable with his father's 'escapades' as well - LOL!  Thanks again, my friend.:)  *Hugs* to you.:)

* waves * Just read your two last chapters ... great as usual, but also scary.

Tomorrow my girls are going for the first time on a little vaction with their dad (till sunday night). That feels so strange for me but also for them. I can't just sit here home alone and doing nothing ... * laughs * reading B/J stories ... so I'm going to the try-out of the musical Wicked here in the Netherlands  (ofcourse it's a dutch cast), but I want Randy doing Boq * sigh * . And sunday to the musical Miss Saigon.

* hugs *

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  I think it's great that you're going out; I wish we lived closer together and I'd go with you!  I always wanted to see "Wicked."  It's actually coming here in November, so I may try and go - looks like it would be great fun.:)  Hope things go okay for your daughters with their father.  I'll be thinking about you, dear. *Hugs* to you.:)

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU REMEMBER ME, BUT HERE I AM AGAIN.  WHILE WAITING FOR PAPER HEARTS UPDATES I AM READING THIS STORY.  IT'S QUITE GOOD.  I LIKE THE POLITICAL SIDE OF IT.  POLITICS INTRIGUE ME AS I THINK SOME PEOPLE WHO RUN ARE REALLY OUT OF THEIR ELEMENT, FORINSTANCE SOME PRESIDENTAL CANDIDATES.  UGH UGH.  THIS STORY WILL BE QUITE LONG TO GET ALL THE CAMPAIGNING DONE AND THE ELECTION, WHICH OF COURSE FIN WILL BE VICTORIOUS AND BRIAN WILL STRUT LIKE A PROUD PEACOCK.  WILL BE WAITING FOR UPDATES.

Author's Response:

Hi, Julian!  Yes, I remember you!:)  Great to hear from you again.:P  I'm actually working on the next part of "Paper Hearts Killer" right now; my updating, unfortunately, is a little slower in coming at the moment because I have quarterly grades due this week for my 21 adult ed students that I teach - extremely time-consuming.  Hopefully, once I get past that this week, I can pick up my pace a little faster.  I have to agree with you - like they say, politics make strange bedfellows and most of the time it seems like they say what they think we WANT them to say, not what they really believe, and after they're elected they turn into someone completely different!  And I also agree that this story is turning out to be longer than "War and Peace!" LOL!  I have NO idea when this will end, but I don't see an end soon - there's just too much going on in this story between the political side and the more 'human' side of the father/son relationship, Justin's wish for a child, Tony's wish to be married, Justin and his father's relationship, etc., etc....Whew!  I get tired just thinking about it - LOL!

Thanks so much for the feedback, Julian!  I hope you will continue to enjoy this story as well as "Paper Hearts Killer."  I promise to get that one updated very soon.:)  ~Kimberly

A p.s. for you.  BB called me while i was getting my hair cut.  He said to tell you he has two teaching classes in the afternoon and two at night--soooo he wouldn't have time to see a play, although he would enjoy it.  Just to keep you up to date.  He hasn't even had time to read here.. Poor baby!! He'll be home Tuesday he said and is taking a few days off to recoup.  I guess teaching a lot of residents is good but very tiring. lol

Author's Response:

Thanks for the info - it's s a shame he can't see it, but truthfully, while Randy was wonderful as always, I preferred "Tommy," I guess because he was the featured star and sang; he has such a beautiful voice, doesn't he?  (Sigh..).  I'm still glad I went, though, because I got to meet him again and best of all get my poster signed!  Tell Brian I said hello and to have a safe trip home.:)

NOW YOU'RE COOKIN!!  GOOD CHAPTER, I REALLY LIKE  POLITICAL SPEECHES AND HOW THE AUDIENCE RESPONDS.  JUST GOT THROUGH MY REHAB.  IT REALLY TAKES A LOT OUT OF ME, BUT I'M GETTING STRONGER.  MY LEFT SIDE IS MUCH IMPROVED, DOC SAYS.  MY HEAD STILL GIVES ME SOME TROUBLE.  I STARTED HAVING SOME PAIN IN MY EAR.  WILL HAVE IT CHECKED NEXT WEEK.  ONE THING GETS BETTER AND SOMETHING ELSE POPS UP.  OH WELL AT LEAST I'M STILL HERE.  DON'T KNOW WHEN I CAN GO BACK TO MY JOB.  I THOUGHT NEXT MONTH AS DID THE DOC-- HAVING RESIDUAL THINGS NOW.  LINDC CALLED ME EARLIER AND TOLD ME TO CHECK THIS CHAPTER OUT.  SO I'M TYPING AGAIN.  I'M REALLY GETTING GOOD AT IT.(PATS HIMSELF ON THE BACK) HA HA  I THINK FIN MADE OUT PRETTY GOOD IN HIS SPEECHES AND PUT DOWN THE HECKLERS VERY WELL.  THEY ARE ALWAYS ON THE SIDELINES POURING OUT THEIR MISGUIDED VIEWS. LOVE 2 U

Author's Response:

Hi, dear friend; I'm glad you had a chance to check the latest update out.:)  And you SHOULD pat yourself on the back for how far you've come; I'm sure you will continue to get stronger and stronger!  But you don't want to rush it too much, despite how much you want to return to work.  Perhaps after the holidays as Brian said would be best for you to make sure your body is properly healed; that way you'll continue to have extra reading time and provide me with moral support - LOL! I actually have a new story in the works, but I don't dare start it at least until I've got another one done.  The only one NEAR completion, though, is the Elvis story - ack!  The others seem a long way off, especially THIS one.  It may rival "War and Peace" before I get done with it - ha!  Thanks again for all your support, Lee - I'm sending you a *big* hug!  Take care and continue to get stronger.:)

sorry, it's just me.  BB has gone back to D.C. for more teaching for a few days.  I took a couple of days off to help my friend with a family crisis.  Boy oh boy!! was this a good chapter.  I love your shower scenes with the boys. so hawt!!  Nobody writes them like you.  If you get a review at any time from any of your stories from an Alex watch out and be prepared--he is something else.  I'll let you be the judge.  His brother is a politician and is fighting for gay rites.  Just to be forwarned.  Off to get my hair cut-it's a mess.  lol

Author's Response:

Hi, dear!  It's a shame that Brian can't go see Randy in his play while he's there - it's definitely going to end on 10/30 from what I read, but it was extended twice, so it must have done very well.  I'm glad you had a chance to trudge through those enormous chapters - I think I set a record with those!  After describing Alex, I'm not sure if I'm ready for him - LOL!  I hope he's happy with how I portrayed Fin's story and thinks I'm doing it justice.  Thanks as always for your thoughts - I hope Lee gets to read this soon, I know it's one of his favorites.:)  Thanks again, my friend.
