OMG! I wish I had time to read more of this. This chapter was better than the previous one. You captured raw emotions that had me near tears.

After several long moments of dead silence (neither of them were breathing), Justin whispered, “Even if it was ridiculously romantic…”

He’d done it to protect himself and maybe even to hurt that innocent and naïve part of himself that he saw so clearly in Justin, that childish self he’d never been able to silence completely, the one that had always urged him to believe, to hope, to let go.

This was my favorite chapter. I loved the way you portrayed Justin getting back his memory of that night and Brian's thoughts while he was remembering it.

Loved the white rose. I also loved the fact that Brian compromised in them getting an apartment together. He is doing what would have plausible after the bashing. He was given a second chance and treated Justin better, but continued his reign of Liberty ave.

Like I said, I only started writing a year ago, and if I hadn't been so profoundly unhappy (and so inspired by Brian and Justin), I probably would never have given writing a try. Now I can't imagine my life without it :)

Thank you for your response to my last review. I hope I didn't come off as bitchy.
I see real talent in you but your focus is spread way out. You could have projects on the backburners and still direct your primary creative energy on one excellent project published at a time.
Professional writing (assuming you might want to be one) demands extreme focus to a project. Pro writing isn't like raising children and the more you have the better you are. I've studied how paid authors go about writing and I'm not aware of any pro-author who does more than two projects at a time. Most do one at a time only.
Maybe you're happy just writing fanfiction but I believe you could be a professional writer and publish for real.
You have the craft, the imagination, the flow, the vocabulary, and the intensity to be a professional writer.
If you only want to write for fun ignore what I'm saying next.
Your talent is wasted on fanfaction when I would pay money to read your books. But a book doesn't make me wait months to finish it.
IMO I believe you're too good to be wasting your talent online. This is a place for writers to learn how to write (or it is for me and perhaps others). You already know how to write.
I guess the questions are: do you have the desire to go pro, and the confidence to face the challenges?
For you, talent isn't in question.

No, a little intense, but not bitchy (which works for me because I'm generally intense, too).
I do write original fiction and poetry, too, though I probably spend less time on that than I should. But I only started writing (well, creative writing) a year ago (well, it'll be a year in 27 days; I started a week after my last birthday), and I started with fanfiction. At the time, I was in a terribly unhealthy long-term relationship (of 11 years). A couple of months ago, we separated, so, now, I'm in transition (visiting a sister until I'm ready to move to a new city, probably in another couple of weeks) and still grieving (though I know I probably shouldn't; my brain knows that the relationship was oppressive to me, but my heart's having a little more difficulty). If not for fanfiction and readers' feedback, I have no clue where I would be mentally/emotionally (my family's not large, and most have not been very supportive or helpful, and my ex got our friends in the split), and I probably wouldn't be doing any creative writing at all. Writing fanfiction is most definitely making me a better writer and helping me to develop some confidence (in writing, but, sadly, in general, too). So it's difficult for me to see fanfiction as a waste of time (at least at the moment). I should probably work on fewer projects at a time, but variety is part of what keeps me inspired and motivated (plus, I work better and harder when pursuing insane challenges I've set for myself). In any case, you've given me a lot to think about (I probably do need a kick in the ass; I've been very timid and unsure about everything the last couple of years, but especially the last year). I hope you know that I am taking what you've said seriously, and I appreciate your making the effort.

I have to have an update soon. You are bordering on torturing your readers if you don't end this misery and now! Shit I wish you would write longer chapters. These delays are why I usually don't start an unfinished story or God forbit I get into one and the author goes AWOL.
Isn't there wisdom in developing one excellent story at a time extensively and fast instead of 12 or thirteen in short blips of plot over months?
I love your writing Violette7, but I'm not a fan of you overextending your writing time with multiple projects leaving them all waiting desperately for more. What does that do to your readers? Have you considered it?
Ok, I said my piece and will suffer with the rest of your fans.
You're a better writer than I am. Why does my story have almost 400 reviews in just over a month?
I write one novel at a time, I update fast, and give the plot and every chapter (thousands of words each time) all my heart and soul.
Your writing skill is light years ahead of me.

Author's Response: I will never be able to write just one story at a time, and I'm not sure that's a bad thing (for me). My writing process is unique. However, you make good points. I hope I'll be able to be less frustrating in the future (write longer updates). Oh...but one concern you need not have is that I'll go AWOL. I get on a schedule and stick to it (give or take a day or two). I update every single one of my stories twice every fortnight, and I couldn't stop writing fanfiction if I wanted to.

Author's Response: Justin doesn't feel comfortable just stepping into a life he planned before he lost his memory, but that doesn't mean he doesn't still have the same dreams :) Whether or not he does make it to PIFA (I don't want to spoil the story for you), he has every intention of pursuing his dream of becoming a professional artist :D :D :D

The movie you mentioned in this sounded good and I thought I might get it until I read the part about Carole and Laurent, not my kind of movie lol.
