I loved most of the story, but I have to be honest and say that I found the last chapter a bit rushed. Matt went crazy just a little to fast for me. I did enjoy the other 5 chapters a lot.
Author's Response: I think Matt was well on his way to crazy before Justin even came home. He just devolved faster after he found out that the eleged partner was actually real. He didn't believe that Brian had a partner, he believed that Brian actually liked him better than, for instance Ted. He had a plan and Justin blew it out of the water. I'm glad you enjoyed the first chapters, though.

I enjoyed the story, but just can't wrap my head around the idea of Brian allowing furniture from JCPenney into Britin. Especially after reading some of the furniture reviews. ;-) Loved the 'Matt' character, though. Wonder if he'll understand that "no" means no?
Author's Response: That was the whole point ;-) I love to put Brian in unexpected situations to show how much he's grown. How much of the story has you read so far? You'll see whether or not Matt knows that no means no.

"Matt goes off the deep end." you think. how matt could ever think that he would or could have something with brian is beyond me.them together at britin is just what both of them want. selling the loft, to matt at that, will make moving to britin so much better. now that matt tried to, whatever it was he tried to do, the memories will be all the sweeter for them than bittersweet.
Author's Response: Matt lost his marbles somewhere around the time Justin came home. The fact that Matt now owns the loft made it VERY easy to leave it behind. Brian didn't even look back ones.

Brian at JC Penney, awesome! I love how you described all the furniture. Sounds just like something they would pick out. Matt has a lot of nerve, he just never learns. Glad Brian finally said something to him.

Matt is a slow learner. He really did believe that Brian genuinely like him. Brian really did not want to take any more crap from him.

Glad to see an update! I love that Brian is so protective and sweet with Justin. Its good that they both realize how much of an annoyance Matt is. Love that Brian has to get dressed up to go furniture shopping! Only BK!

Yeah, they are both well aware how annoying Matt is, don't worry, he is not going to get the upper hand anytime soon. Of course he has to dress up. Great chapters to read. I hope you update soon. I personally would not like it if Matt would harm Justin physically in this story. I do like him chasing after Brian. I hope that the next chapters will contain more of that and will lead to more displays of Brian's and Justin's affection and respect for eachother. Matt has to find out that no one messes with this power couple! I especially enjoyed the pieces of the story told from Matt's pov, because even as an unwilling outsider he has to awknowledge Brian and Justin's connection.

Wow, that was a party ender. Does Matt realize that everyone knows he is crushin on Brian...including the man himself? I hope Justin will be ok, the mention of Hobbs is never a good thing.
