Great chapter. Any snippets soon of why Brian is a homophobe? Parents that way... why is Brian and Justin's last name different,.....
Author's Response: Brian is just your average homophobic straight male, as well as probably some influences from Jack Kinney (I don't think Brian particularly hate gays... I think he's just uncomfortble with them). And then again he may have also been influenced by Joan's religious teachings as well. Also in this universe Brian was not an abused kid, which means he felt less pain growing up so therefore, may not be as sensitive to the plight and pain of others like the abused child Brian was in the QAF Verson (that Brian's abuse made him more sensitive to the atrocities of others... that might not be the case with this Brian). QAF Brian is 'gay' so in a sense he was part of a minority that made him more sensitive to others minorities and injustices. However, Brian in this Universe is a highly successful, heterosexual, white male and the world is his oyster, he may not be as sensitive to others as the gay Brian. And he thinks homosexuality is choice... that U can easily go the other way just making up your mind to do so, and if you have problems U have an illness. However, recall that Justin told Ben that his brother does have a good heart... so he does have at least that much in common with his QAF/gay counterpart. You'd learn how Justin and Brian are biologically related in a later conversation between Justin and Ben.

However, don't worry about me, I've gotten very rude readers leave me some not so nice reviews before. I have to say though that's is the nastiest/meanest/rudest to date and my response to that reader was the most frank I've ever been. Regardless of how mean/rude/insensitive of an review I usually try to dignify the readers response by defending my work while being sensitive to the readers difference in taste (or opinion) but I didn't see any way of dignifying that reader's response that was no doubt straight out nasty of that individual. Ty again 4 liking my story and taking the time to cheer me up... It was so kind. Enjoy the story, have Fun, love 2 entertain U.

I am just a bit obssessed with Gale/Brian(bet you did not know that! heh heh!)...my best friend was getting sick of me...i trailed her all over the gay village following the lookalikes!...they were all tall,brunette and slim, one had the scruffy look, the other two were very similar to the clean cut Gale,one was more like Ashton K, but their smiles were different and of course they were not as fit as he is-who is? Anyway, this story is a good one, you know I love Ben too...brilliant idea...and strangely I am enjoying a straight homophobic Brian---hmmm!

AAAHHH Someone dedicated a story to me that is so cool and a really good story at that Yay. I could so see Brian as a homophobe since he was sorta a heterophobe on the show.
