At last! A cliffhanger I liked - lol. I loved the way that both guys tried to open the door at the same time. How convenient, too, that Brian was only wearing a towel. Makes it so much easier to get undressed - ha. Loving this story! I don't think Justin would still pull back from Brian. But now to confront Scott. Should make for an interesting confrontation. I'll be watching to see if Brian accompanies Justin, or if Justin chooses to do it alone. I would think the latter, but I'm sure Brian would love to give Scott a 'cat that ate the canary,' smug look. This story still puzzles me, because I think we still have to find out more about Justin's motivation for his intentions to marry Scott. I feel he has more doubts in his heart than his insecurities about Brian's lifestyle, especially considering Brian is getting old, just like anyone else.
Author's Response: Oh, there are definitely doubts, not just because of Brian's lifestyle, and Justin has already sort of stated his reasons in the chapter from his point of view... He's afraid that Brian will sacrifice who he is to make him happy, and I guess he thinks he's doing Brian a favor by letting him go (more pushing him away), but he doesn't realize that Brian has really changed and that he longs for the same life as Justin. They really just need to have a heart-to-heart, but Justin is too stubborn and scared and definitely doesn't want to hurt Scott, even though he doesn't realize that if he marries him, he'll hurt him a lot more...

Although I can't explain it, I don't think Justin sent that invitation. Why did Debbie have to be the messenger? Doesn't Brian have a mailbox somewhere near the building where he lives? Author's Response: Sorry for the confusion, but of course Brian has his own mailbox, he just hasn't checked it for a few days as hinted at the end of the first chapter, but they all got an invite (except, of course, we still don't know if Brian got the invite too:)) and Debbie just happened to be the first to check her mailbox and immediately went to inform Brian... hope this helps a little :) Anyway, thanks for the comment and I'm glad you're looking forward to the next chapter!

I guess since Justin sent out invitations to everyone, he's not leaving Brian out. He doesn't want Brian to assume he's mad at him. It could also be that he doesn't send it to him because he doesn't want Brian to assume he's bragging that he's moved on. He knows the others will tell him anyway. There can be several variations. But I think he sends.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich möchte das er eine Einladung bekommen hat, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass ich auf keinen Fall möchte, dass Justin diesen anderen Kerl heiratet. Das darf auf keinen Fall passieren. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie es weitergeht.
